  1. Two safeties, both from the Iowa punting game. The first was a horrible snap the punter kicked out the back of the end zone, the second one was intentional - the LOS was at the 1, and they decided they'd rather give up the 2 and kick off from the 20 than risk a block and possible defensive TD. They knew our offense was no threat to score.....
  2. According to buffalobills.com, 6500.
  3. Yeah, I'm sure Drew's family would find that hysterical. Nice. Real nice.
  4. His motives aren't exactly altruistic, but he's got a point. Thanks to the cap, small-market teams like the Bills have roughly the same amount of $$$ to spend directly on players' salaries.... but the 'haves' can outspend the 'have-nots' in other areas that also have the potential to impact the on-the-field product. Disagree? Here's one example: just think about how many millions of dollars Dannyboy $nyder has paid to his various head coaches, or the fact that he made GW the highest-paid coordinator in NFL history. And if Bill Parcells had been available this last offseason, do you really think the Bills would've had a shot at hiring him, or would Jerry Jones have just kept upping his offer until Ralph dropped out of the bidding? Now, I realize the Skins and 'Boys aren't having great seasons either. But wouldn't it be nice to have the option to go after a "big-name" coach, or maybe (for example) get a nicer scoreboard without begging the state/county for more $$$? And with a little extra loot coming our way, maybe we could get the potholes in Lot 1 fixed.......
  5. What are the odds we're 1-6 even if McGee DOES play? Yeah, that's what I thought....
  6. It's on right now - started at noon - and I tossed a tape in the VCR. (Missed the first minute or two of Bob Koshinski's stand-up comedy act, but I'll get the rest of it.) He did have one pretty good joke, though. I'll try to come close-
  7. Gotta have my priorities straight, no? Ah, I'm just jealous that 'my' baseball team hasn't won one of those cool trophies since 1990......
  8. Thpphphpht. If nothing else, I'm hoping all the hullabaloo up they-AH is interrupting the Patriots' sleep, and the winning streak ends here in Pennsyltucky.......
  9. So in other words, all the "(bleep) that drugged-up (bleep), he doesn't deserve any of our sympathy" posts I saw here were flat-out wrong. Hopefully, some of the people who wrote those posts will stop and think about that for a second. I doubt it, though.
  10. Ummm... okay. As someone who's barely tolerated by the "Inner Circle", much less a member of same, I would tend to think that a post saying "this is where you can find some TBDers, stop by and say hi" means exactly what it says. To everybody. But hey, that's just me.......
  11. Protocol? Official invite? Us?!? Bwahahahaaaaaaaa... Find Pole 5, turn towards the Pinto, look for the big blue Dodge van. That's BADOLBILZ's crew. The rest of us will be somewhere in that same area....
  12. From what I understand, they will be involved somehow..... The wedding starts at 11:00, and everyone's invited. I think an official announcement is forthcoming.
  13. Nope, can't blame the media for picking up on this one - anyone who read the official team website, or gets the V-Coach or BillsDirect bulletins e-mailed to them, got that message right from One Bills Drive. So if that wasn't actually what Mularkey originally said, then somebody in their communications dept. did him wrong. Big time.
  14. But this is still the "top story" at buffalobills.com: If it was a misquote, somebody had better let the website folks know.....
  15. Be nice, now. Their names are Shane and Natasha, this whole thing was her idea, and Joe Cahn's giving away the bride. (He just mentioned it to Howard S.) There was an invitation posted on the front of the "bar" at the Miami game....
  16. Depends on how much beer is left in the cooler.
  17. He travels all over the country, goes to upwards of 40 games a season, and people fall all over themselves offering him free food. Where do I sign up?
  18. Supposedly, Mularkey said "Willis is starting, when he needs a break Travis is coming in, and Travis is also in some other personnel groupings." That doesn't sound like "co-starters" to me. So why, oh why, was that impression even floated out there by One Bills Drive?
  19. Another possible place to get plates: when I was talking to Kenny after the Miami game, he said they've got Nick's recipe and they're going to try cooking them up at the Pinto. Can you imagine a Pinto-style plate?
  20. Yeah, and probably on some kinda whacked-out double-reverse flea-flicker screen pass........ Dear God. I think I'm staying in the parking lot.
  21. Map - Louie's Texas Red Hots - 3905 Southwestern Blvd. This the place, tater?
  22. Yeah, but the point a lot of people here already made is that Mularkey's creating a media headache for himself and for the players involved, when he didn't have to. Let's see - we also have "co-starters" at WR (Reed and Evans) and LDE (Denney and Kelsay).... Just make up your mind, Mike. "Willis is starting this game. Anything beyond that, I can't answer yet." How hard can that be?
  23. bb.com - parking lots Lot 3 - that's the one across Abbott and up towards SW Blvd., tater? Lot 1 is easy - it's the one outside the Fieldhouse and south towards Big Tree Rd.
  24. .... for missing the story that the Bills have apparently brought Wade Phillips back as their head coach. "1a and 1b", only at running back this time. Echoing a lot of the sentiment here - don't be so bleepin' worried about hurting Travis's feelings. Should be a fun three hours....
