Always have, whenever they're not playing against "my" team. Went to more than a few games at the Aud with my Dad, starting with the night Gretzky broke the single-season goal-scoring record in 1982 (and Gilbert, not wanting to be upstaged by the kid, countered with a hat trick of his own). Loved Pat LalalalaLaFontaine, like Briere and Drury almost as much.
Plus, they're the 'hometown' team -- so the (dearly departed and sorely missed) Empire, and more recently MSGBuffalo, have provided the vast majority of my NHL access for the last ten years. Heck... considering the only time I get to see the Habs anymore is when they're playing either Buffalo or Pittsburgh, I know your team better than my own.
In fact, I'm not sure I should admit this.. but talkin' hockey at work the other night, I said I'd have mixed emotions were the Sabres/Habs to meet up further down the road in the playoffs. (Guess that's not a problem now. )
I've had the chance to watch my team skate the Cup more than once, and it's absolutely mindblowing. Buffalo fans deserve that opportunity.
