  1. Say Jauron, according to Tim: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-7-135...play-guard.html
  2. Well, at least we know the announcement didn't kill you.
  3. http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB...p;ATCLID=175543 And we're off. At least they waited until the second round this time, I guess ...
  4. Graham's take: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-7-135...play-guard.html

  7. If you're looking for sarcasm, he's the obvious choice, although Sal might make a run for that title as the evening wears on ...
  8. Graham on the pick: DE Maybin has questions to answer with Bills
  9. Buffalo News, take 1: Rod McKissic chatting on BillBoard BN, take 2: Sully's live blog D+C: Sal Maiorana's live blog WIVB: John Murphy's live blog WGRZ: Adam Benigni updates/Stu Boyar chat WGR: Nick Mendola's live blog And hey, we set a new record! "Most users ever online was 1,666 on Today, 05:57 PM"
  10. Not sure. After all, Mayock and PFW were among the ones who called the Maybin/Britton exacta. (We'll see about the second half of that ticket.) But he already has a better track record than most of the "inside sources" folks, no?
  11. I'm sure the East Coast newspapers, especially ones with teams picking in the second half of Round 2, are big fans of the new start time. I'm also sure the NFL, with its own TV/radio/streaming Internet, doesn't give a crap ...
  12. Lost, or merely misplaced temporarily? Never doubted that. I like Allen well enough, and I think he played college ball, which puts him ahead of most here ... but Mark really knows his stuff, IMO. Getting RCW into the Hall shows how quickly he earned the respect of his peers after taking over Buffalo's vote from Felser. He'll also be the next president of PFWA, which isn't exactly a job that gets handed to a hack, you know?
  13. Not a surprise, if he's been hanging out with Dockery. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsi...e-williams.html http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/200...-mike-back.html Longhorn fans probably won't be amused, but nice take by Gaughan.
  14. It was, but all the mock drafts and "inside sources" junk pushed it to Page 2. Just another typical day-before-the-draft at TBD. Welcome to the funhouse!
  15. The Bills get two names off that list, and neither one is a QB or RB or WR or CB, I'll be happy.
  16. Not seeing anything on either BillBoard or Sully's blog. The calm before the storm, I suppose, because they have a bunch of stuff scheduled for the weekend: http://www.buffalonews.com/buffalobills/ Tim Graham appears on the ESPN schedule at the regular Bat-time/channel, this afternoon at 3 p.m. Assuming it's still correct, or that he'll let us know if it isn't.
  17. Yup. Once his Losman-to-Carolina "scoop" was debunked, he went into full damage-control mode. Which just means I'll be sure to quote all his future titles/posts for posterity ...
  18. Scroll down to pick No. 28: NFL.com Add: Which means Jon Gruden, who made pick No. 11 for Buffalo, probably isn't coming here either ...
  19. And no similar love for Mariucci, who drafted Pettigrew for the Bills at 28? Steve Mariucci: "We needed an offensive tackle. What we need to help out our young quarterback is my highest-rated player on the board, Brandon Pettigrew. Not so much the greatest receiving tight end, but he'll block you. We're going to try and run the football a little bit better. We have our receiver, now we have our tight end. Let's play ball."
  20. sigh ... hope those people read the rest of it, where Gruden pretends to be the GM of several other teams, before they started buzzing: Chiefs -- "We've addressed our quarterback issue. We only had 10 sacks last year on defense. We need some defense. But the Chiefs, this is a traditional franchise, this is a proud franchise. We got Brandon Albert last year, and Brian Waters is a Pro Bowler at left guard. We have to get Larry Johnson going and take care of our quarterback. I'm going to take Jason Smith, and move him over to right tackle and put together one of those Chiefs lines from the 1990s. We're going back to that style of football, and we're taking this big tackle." Bucs (I'll dispense with the annoying bold function) -- "My opinion? OK. We need some defensive linemen. My problem is that I just don't see anyone who plays defensive tackle that I get fired up about here at No. 19. We need a defensive back, too. I'm going to look at Vontae Davis. I liked his workout, but didn't like his tapes. I'm going with the Ohio State kid. I love this kid. Just wish he ran a little faster. I'll take Malcom Jenkins, and I'll find something for him to do." Colts -- "I'm going to check with Peyton Manning and see who he likes. Darrius Heyward-Bey doesn't fit our offense. In the films I watch, he doesn't catch a pass. We're going to go defense. We need an inside player to go with our defensive ends. I'm deciding between Jerry and ... oh he's gone? I'm glad he's gone! The guy I've wanted all day is Ziggy Hood. He's bigger, he's better and he's younger!"
  21. So you still think "F Tim Graham" was an acceptable thread title, and you're surprised people reacted negatively? Allrighty then. (And I should note that said title would not have been cool if it had been aimed at any of the other 9,000+ TSW members, either.)
