PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
Terry Pegula deserves a highway bill board like Ralph Wilson days when he refused to fire someone. Because of the sky high PSL prices and the Buffalo Sabres playoff drought. Save Bills Mafia seats in the new Buffalo Bills stadium with lower PSL prices along with more seating flexibility and save NHL hockey in Buffalo. Fire Don Granato and Kevyn Adams should be the new Highway billboard sign. It’s well past the giving Terry Pegula passes time put the Highway billboard up to embarrass Terry Pegula in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo -

I have no idea ask Jerry Jones he seems to be running two NFL franchises now the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills business affairs. I have 2 to 1 odds that Josh Allen at some point will be traded to the Dallas Cowboys when the Pegula’s are ready to move the Bills out of Buffalo that will be the first warning signs they are leaving Buffalo. It won’t be any where in Texas either because Jerry Jones won’t allow another NFL franchise in Texas carry on in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree that the new Buffalo Bills stadium won’t be relevant it will be domed by New York State the stadium owner and used for more things than just football for the South towns and Western New York community at large when the NFL leaves Buffalo. This is speculative but I think there will be professional football in Buffalo but more on the local club football level that people will go to as community owned teams because cities like Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Green Bay are going to want those present stadiums which formerly house NFL football teams with a football tenant in it. It will be more regional football league with travel to near by cities like Buffalo vs Cleveland or Buffalo vs Pittsburgh. I don’t see Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Minnesota, Miami, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Atlanta or Green Bay keeping there NFL teams either. They will exist in a stadium campus in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York/New Jersey and Las Vegas as a television show production with no more NFL city names just the Packers or the Bills like Roller Derby Bombers vs Chiefs or T-Birds vs Red Devils. NFL will be relevant to people because they still will gamble on it and watch the results on large screen televisions at home. But I agree that the numbers will shrink in numbers without the home city names. Plus club owned teams will become popular with fans because they will go to what they have in town to get out of the house on the weekends it’s just going to be different. You can always find football players. The NFL just isn’t interested in working class fans or mid sized cities that aren’t Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Chicago and Las Vegas anymore. Quite frankly I am already tired of the NFL owners nonsense. When you see successful Buffalo funeral home owner locally who is a huge Buffalo Bills fan say his tickets in the clubs are going up from $25,000 dollars a seat a season to $400,000 plus you still have to buy the tickets, parking say too steep for him after 2025 in the old stadium. It’s over the Buffalo Bills and Legends way overpriced the PSL’s. Let them leave after 15 years frankly it’s for the best if that is all the NFL owners are interested in screwing the long time football season ticket holders. I thought this was going to happen that people aren’t forking over all there income to just give it to the Buffalo Bills owner it’s disgusting the greed. How much is enough Terry Pegula? The bottom line Terry Pegula is stuck for 15 years in Buffalo no outs ironclad so he will have to lower the PSL’s or have a half empty stadium for his last 15 years in Buffalo. Terry Pegula will cave when it gets closer to the new Bills stadium opener and reality sets in that Legends can’t sell the PSL’s at that high of PSL prices. Legends will blame Buffalo market to Terry Pegula but that won’t fix a half empty stadium so Terry Pegula will have to cave lowering the PSL’s as we get closer to the opener because a half empty stadium isn’t good getting nothing instead of lowering the PSL prices to at least get someone using the seats. Empty stadium seats don’t help the Buffalo Bills something is better than nothing Terry Pegula will figure that out when we get closer to the new stadium opening in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Yes but Cleveland is a bigger city and there leaders have more going for them than Buffalo leaders that are poor business planners. The Cleveland Cavaliers arena is already renovated as is the Cleveland Guardians ballpark. I think the Cleveland Browns are going to do what they are doing in Chicago and build a dome over where the present Cleveland Browns stadium is now. I am old and not in great health with end stages muscular dystrophy but I going to have a good laugh in heaven when the new Bills stadium gets domed at some point in the new Bills stadium life span of 50 years. Remember this from Buffalo Super Fan I told you so about doming the stadium. It has nothing to do about Super Bowl hosting games it’s has to do with 365 days all year usage to host anything from conferences to trade shows to sporting events to concert compared to 180 days or so. Again these modern stadiums you can make them more intimate depending on the size of the event. I don’t care what Terry Pegula wants he is wrong and isn’t looking out for Western New York community interest. The lack of events at Key Bank Center is a disgrace it’s him the way he conducts business less is more which works for him congratulations but doesn’t benefit Western New York community. That is seeing shows by past Buffalo weather they are concerts to sports events. Key Bank Center since Terry Pegula took over the arena sees a lot less usage which is very sad compared to the 1990’s early 2000’s in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

I would actually trade down to acquire more draft picks in this draft. Because the Buffalo Bills have a ton of holes that need to be filled on the roster. I would take a lot of secondary players hoping one or two plan out. The Bills secondary is a mess with all the talent either retired or cap casualties. The Bills are not in the position to draft just one big can’t miss wide receiver. If Josh Allen is the real deal he will make do what he has to work with wide receiver wise the Bills defensive secondary is a mess. God bless Cam Lewis I saw him play at UB Bulls but if the Bills have to rely on him we’re in trouble in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

10 years ago today, RIP Mr Wilson
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
So was his Buffalo Bills tickets. I would take Ralph Wilson back as Bills owner any time over the clown show the Bills have become now with PSL’s and not winning the big games in the playoffs anymore. At least cheap Raph Wilson won two AFL championships in year 4 and 5 of his ownership and got the Bills to 4 Super Bowl games at reasonable working class ticket prices this Western New York area could afford. Plus he donated a lot of money to Buffalo after his passing so there was decency with Ralph Wilson that fought the Jerry Jones. Now Terry Pegula has hitched the Bills wagon to Legends Jerry Jones who is a snake. Ralph Wilson’s would never have done that because Ralph Wilson had decency and realized this Western New York areas limitations. I ask how much is enough Terry Pegula? I miss both Ralph Wilson and the Knox Brothers they had decency as Buffalo team owners and far more successful and don’t forget tickets were cheaper in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Bills Titans 1999 playoff game on air today 1230
Buffalo Super Fan replied to davefan66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I saw that today as a Buffalo Bills fan I just channeled surf past that. No need to relive that Bills game. I saw it happen on television it wasn’t a good Bills memory. I rather forget the game in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Buffalo Super Fan replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
No the Buffalo Bills defense is going to be a lot weaker and the Bills are banking on the offense carrying the Bills. Again what troubles me isn’t Josh Allen he is reliable but Stefon Diggs is becoming a problem. I wouldn’t count on Stefon Diggs this season being very reliable anymore he has a screw loose and he is going to screw up the Bills with his petty crap. So no there are a lot of if’s with the Buffalo Bills we let a lot of experience on defense leave. Von Miller the Bills kept is done and Stefon Diggs has a screw loose what could go wrong? I don’t see the same character the Bills once had they kept the trouble makers because of contracts not because they wanted too. I would be happy if the Bills just made the playoffs this season. The Stefon Diggs thing has gone on far too long for the kind of money he makes I would be furious if I am Terry Pegula. I think the Bills walk away after this season from both Stefon Diggs and Von Miller. I think if it wasn’t for the cap Von Miller and Stefon Diggs would already be gone just not reliable anymore that is a huge potential problem in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Chiefs president floats the idea of the team leaving
Buffalo Super Fan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
What? I get it this is a football fan board but newsflash if the choice was between MLB and NFL? NFL loses every time that battle for public money. Who got the money in Cleveland the Browns or the Indians? Who got the money in San Diego the Padres or the Chargers? Who got the money in the city of San Francisco the Giants or the 49ers there out in no where land Santa Clara. Trust me if Buffalo had a MLB team in 1969 NL expansion the Buffalo Bills would be long gone from Buffalo regardless of success. Why do fans not understand Ralph Wilson was completely against a dome stadium he wanted it open air. It wasn’t because football is meant to be played in the elements. He didn’t want any possibly in the 1970’s that Buffalo would acquire a MLB team. Remember there was no Toronto Blue Jays until 1977. Ralph Wilson was protecting number one it had nothing to do with football in the elements he didn’t want that competition because then he losses leverage. Having a MLB team 81 times a year is economically beneficial to 8 times a season for the NFL. Plus the baseball parks are down town not a suburb parking lot. I love the Buffalo Bills but not over even the minor league Buffalo Bisons 75 games to 20 plus football games. Just from a fan perspective I rather have 150 Bisons games to watch over 20 Bills games. It’s the same logic why if I had to pick one the Buffalo Sabres or the Buffalo Bills bye bye Buffalo Bills. 82 Sabres games compared to 20 Bills games. Just not enough games giving up the Buffalo Sabres or Buffalo Bisons is way too big of a price for the NFL Buffalo Bills especially when I have the UB Bulls for football. Again I am sports fan I am not a big sports has to be a tailgate party and mega event fan. And last the Kansas City Royals won in 1985 and 2015. If winning is your objective by your logic for staying both the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres should be gone because they don’t win undisputed championships ever. Neither team is going to leave Kansas City but if it was me the Kansas City Chiefs would pack there bags. The Kansas City Royals stay and do what San Diego is doing in Kansas City going after a NHL or NBA team for there new arena. NFL football is the worse building stadium model compared to the other sports. I trade the Buffalo Bills for Buffalo MLS team in a second more games and much better future than the NFL especially for working class Buffalo fans. The NFL it’s bubble is going to burst trust me it’s happening regardless of the Buffalo Bills new stadium success on the field or not the NFL has long term potential problems. There model doesn’t care if kids become fans. As the NFL fan base paying for those stadiums PSL’s there are no kids like me that could see a Bills game once a year anymore. My first Bills game was the old Baltimore Colts and Bert Jones I won the tickets free in a contest at Bells Super Market. That is going the way of the dodo bird. Again long term the NFL if it keeps on this destructive path will drop in popularity. Living off high end fans and gambling is a recipe for trouble long term because fans my age 56 years old will age out then what? The NFL has no kids growing up going to the Bills games or NFL games it’s a problem. The MLS there fan base is young and the game is affordable ticket wise. You root for what you can afford. The NFL is becoming a television show for most working class fans it’s no longer affordable in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
But to be fair look at the new New Jersey football stadium for the New York Giants and Jets it’s apples and oranges compared to the Buffalo Bills new stadium. Yes we all have complaints about the new Buffalo Bills stadium but I am saying as much complaints as I have had about the new Bills stadium it’s better than the Giants/Jets stadium. Because look at the Giants/Jets stadium. It was like they built a glorified Buffalo War Memorial Stadium for a billion dollars it should have never been built the designer failed no debate about that New York fans can’t stand the ugly stadium. That New Jersey stadium from television because I never have been in it looks worse than the old Giants stadium. It’s a why bother? New York/New Jersey is some of the wealthiest fans in America and that stadium is pure garbage. New York City missed the boat. They should have built a Sofi Style Stadium in Queens instead of that Soccer Specific Stadium for New York City FC MLS. With both the New York Giants and New York Jets moving back to the Big Apple where they belong enough with the Jersey crapola taking our money. But I am not saying any more because I will be accused of talking politics by the Bills moderators which isn’t my point in my sports posts. I speak from a sports business prospective. My point is other areas of the country like Los Angeles are better decisions makers than New York. It’s my own opinion our leaders don’t think big enough it’s cost New York City which my mother side of the family is from just as much as Buffalo. I have state pride and I don’t like the stadium decisions not just for Buffalo but the entire state of New York our state has failed. We do half a loaf of bread in our main city New York also and call it a day crazy. It costs to live in New York City we have to get New York City back to it’s rightful place as a world class city not watch teams go to Jersey and California we did that to ourselves it was self inflicted. I love soccer I really do but the Giants and Jets coming back home to a Sofi Stadium in New York City would be huge dollars for New York State our entire state that we can have some state pride in instead of that slop in the swamp in New Jersey. Again it’s just my sports business opinion. And I get MSG was against that Jets stadium but our leaders need to do what is best for the entire state from a business perspective not MSG prospective. It’s purely a sports take not political take because I don’t care about politics. My posts are from a sports business perspective what is best long term for our entire state to maximize events profits which bring in much needed revenue and maximize showing off our state to the max. Suspending me is never getting me off my take that our state was insane to let the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Baseball Giants, New York Football Giants and New York Jets go along with down grading CCNY Beavers Division I basketball over gambling while the Kentucky Wildcats were involved and business as usual. That cost our state billions of dollars plus the loss of the Buffalo Braves which was completely save able. I have talked about this the Niagara Falls Convention Center should have been built grander with the Buffalo Braves as the prime tenant. The Buffalo Sabres and Canisius College have no power to do anything because they are both in Erie County and you are in Niagara County. Buffalo Super Fan who cares? You should care there are no Toronto Raptors if the Buffalo Braves are still in Western New York that money would have stayed in Western New York/New York State instead of going to Canada. All this stuff adds up which was the start of our present downfall population wise in New York State. We need to make New York State where you don’t want to leave even though it cost more because we have this, this, this over X,Y, Z state that is all I am saying from a sports standpoint we are declining from the Buffalo Sabres/Buffalo Braves to the Syracuse Orange to the heavy sports loss of New York City sports team assets over the years. What is the Brooklyn Dodgers still playing in Brooklyn still worth today money and value to New York State? They were the Chicago Cubs Wrigleyville before the Chicago Cubs that is billions of dollars the New York Mets are nothing like that in popularity compared to the Brooklyn Dodgers or the New York Baseball Giants carry on if fans can’t see what happened to our state I don’t know what you are all watching in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Exactly you can’t give Manhattan and LA prices if your Buffalo salary isn’t Manhattan and LA salary. I have no problem paying for PSL’s Manhattan and LA prices if I getting there salaries. Again if Terry Pegula hypothetically followed through on Austin, Texas to move the Bills there. Terry Pegula isn’t getting Manhattan and LA prices in Austin, Texas regardless of the technology companies they have. Each market isn’t Manhattan and LA. Also Buffalo Bills fans that are forced out because of PSL’s prices. You might discover that watching the Buffalo Bills on television like when you were a kid isn’t so bad. It was wonderful when I gave up my Bills season tickets liberating because the Bills thought JP Losman was a better quarterback option than Drew Bledsoe and I didn’t think so. It was one of many smart things I did. Also you can still see live football locally either at UB Bulls or the many Western New York high schools where football is played where the real meat and potatoes of football is. Not the fantasy land of the NFL. If you love sports like I do it doesn’t really matter you love the game the competition. But if you are into the life of the party atmosphere with tailgating and party yeah you are going to miss the Buffalo Bills games more. I never went to football because of a tailgate. I loved the competition of sports. So I wired differently than some football fans. I enjoy watching arena/indoor football in all different kind of leagues in America. Like the NAL Omaha Beef on a all Orange indoor turf field. Buffalo Super Fan would you be happy if the Buffalo Wings NAL on an Orange turf replacing the Buffalo Bills? To be honest I love sports and would follow whatever Buffalo had as a team. I want the Buffalo Bills to stay but if they choose that Buffalo isn’t for them good luck bring on the new Buffalo football team whatever it is. I am a Buffalo Bisons fan and they wear all kinds of crazy uniforms like Disco night who cares it’s baseball. I love the game that is what I am saying so owners threats and PSL high prices wouldn’t work on me. I don’t even show up to the Bills experience because I think one would have to be off there rocker to pay for the right to buy a season ticket that is insane. I am different type of Buffalo fan television is wonderful today compared to when I was growing up I watched games on my family’s 12 inch black and white portable television my parents gave me as a 7 year old boy. So I could watch sports in my bedroom while the rest of the family watched television shows on our big color television set. When I was 13 years old for my birthday mom and dad surprised me with a portable 12 inch color television. I had that color television set all through college until I was done with college and got one of those big screen televisions wonderful memories. That 13th birthday was a incredible memory to be able to see games in color television of my own was just a wonderful experience going from black and white to color television back then that was big stuff in a 13 year old sports fan living in Buffalo at that time in my opinion. Peter Guelli the new COO of the Bills and Sabres
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Pete Guelli is very smart he wouldn’t mention he is close friends with Russ Brandon. Russ Brandon the driving force behind the Buffalo Bills Toronto Series and the Bills playoff drought isn’t exactly popular in Western New York. This is another nothing move Pete Guelli will just pass through the night and take some of Terry Pegula’s money before he is let go. But Terry Pegula can’t afford a Buffalo USL Super League soccer team for Buffalo in the new Bills stadium. When is Western New York going to get the money Terry Pegula wasted on fired executives would have bought and paid for a Buffalo expansion USL Super League soccer team in the new Bills stadium. Pegula Sports and Entertainment waste money on executives and basically nonsense that cost the Bills money. That doesn’t bring in new money and jobs for Western New York. Ditto Key Bank Center even when it’s full renovated it will still empty I would bet the house on that unless Terry Pegula sells the Sabres to someone else. The Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits were the Knox Brothers legacy to Buffalo. The Buffalo Bills were Ralph Wilson legacy to Buffalo. What has Terry Pegula ever really created that was a business success and cemented his ownership legacy in Buffalo? The Buffalo Bisons are Bob Rich Family legacy to Buffalo. I am waiting? I will be waiting a long time because Terry Pegula isn’t capable of really creating anything long lasting. He has plenty of opportunity he controls both our major sports houses he isn’t capable of creating anything lasting or new for Western New York. We are building a World Class Soccer Stadium with no soccer team in it. But it’s Terry Pegula so that explains everything. If Terry Pegula doesn’t win a Super Bowl or Stanley Cup he will be like Tom Golisano just passing through a period of time in Buffalo paddling his fortune. For some Buffalo fans that is good enough I guess carry on in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Bills sign Taron Johnson to 3-year $31 million extension
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the Ralph Wilson days the Buffalo Bills were always broke because he didn’t want to pay anyone. The Buffalo Bills are a large market franchise now with the television money and new Bills stadium on the way. Think of the Buffalo Bills market as Buffalo /Rochester/Erie/Southern Ontario/Toronto along with transplant out of town Buffalonians my point the Bills aren’t broke the Bills operating like a normal NFL team. The Taron Johnson deal is a good deal for the Buffalo Bills in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
I get what you are saying with many Buffalo projects over the years. But in the history of Western New York stadium and arenas for sports franchises going back over 100 years of construction. I study and read a lot about Buffalo sports history. Not one stadium and arena project once the Buffalo team started building it didn’t open on time. Rochester that is another matter with stadium and arena projects. But Buffalo is number one we should all take a tip of the hat that we are very good at getting stadium and arena construction projects done and open on time. Remember most of these workers are local and most likely Buffalo Bills fans. So what I am saying is that there is a little extra excitement working on something they and there families will go to for years compared to building a bridge or a business office tower. Plus Terry Pegula is also good with this stuff the Buffalo Harbor Center and shops opened on time and on schedule. Terry Pegula is a lot of things but I give people credit where it is warranted. Terry Pegula doesn’t mess around with dilly, dally on construction projects he delivers on time and on schedule. Trust me Buffalo are good at building arena and stadium projects on schedule and on time. Building a bridge stuff like that well that is another matter completely. We aren’t talking a complicated football stadium here it will open for the Bills 2026 preseason games. They are ahead of schedule because of Buffalo’s mild winter. Once they get the steal up and the coverage. The inside work can be completed without relying on the Buffalo mild winter weather so much. In the beginning of the foundation and steel stage was really important that Buffalo had a mild winter which thankfully Buffalo did in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Justin Fields traded to Steelers
Buffalo Super Fan replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is it? If Justin Fields was any good the Chicago Bears a major market wouldn’t have gotten rid of him. I don’t see Justin Fields being a star. Is Field better than Kenny Pickett probably but there is a lot of who cares none of these guys are going to be the next Ben Roelisburger. The Pittsburgh Steelers are chasing a new franchise quarterback like the Buffalo Bills did when Jim Kelly retired. I don’t see anything the Steelers did that is better than what they had in Ben Roelisburger. It’s going to eventually cost Mike Tomlin his coaching job like it did with Bill Belichick when Tom Brady left the New England Patriots. You can’t win without an elite NFL franchise quarterback and unfortunately there is a short supply of franchise quarterbacks to go around. I think all these Steelers moves are a whole lot of nothing at the end of the day. The Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots are going to have some losing like other teams in the NFL with no franchise quarterback. It’s about time let the Patriots and Steelers fans have to go 13 years without playoffs. The Patriots and Steelers haven’t been scary bad in a long time and it’s time they start losing like everyone else in the NFL in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
