Yes when Buffalo/Toronto Blue Jays are outdrawing Oakland Athletics on average during Covid-19 with half our market is on the other side of the Peace Branch Bridge with lockdowns. I believe that was the final straw what are we doing in Oakland by the commissioner? Here is the date get it done or move on. That alone with the huge success of the Vegas Golden Knights and Las Vegas Raiders lead to the Oakland Athletics moving. I don’t think the Bay Area will be out of major league sports in 20 years I could see something going back. After the Oakland politicians are done running Oakland into the ground residents will wake up and vote corrupt politicians in bed with land developers out of public office. Brooklyn returned to major league sports after that control nut Robert Moses in the 1950’s. I have no doubt Oakland will at some point be in major league sports again in my opinion. Go Bills! As a Buffalo Bills fan none of this really matters the NFL fans and teams care about their own teams few are feeling sorry for the Bills team or the Bills fans. Everyone has injuries and adversity the bottom line the 2022 Buffalo Bills weren’t good enough for many reasons none that really matters other than they failed. The Bills as all NFL teams will have injuries in 2023 to infinity it comes with NFL football and sports In general injuries it’s not why the Bills failed, regressed blah, blah we had this or that? So does all NFL teams. New England Patriots fans have to deal with a terrible quarterback Mac Jones again that is a big situation for there fans but as Bills fans most of us could care less that Mac Jones is athletically challenged, vertically challenged and belongs in the XFL or USFL as a starting quarterback how about dealing with that as a Patriots fan? Right we as Bills fans don’t care proves my point just win the Super Bowl and stop whining with excuses Bills fans. I am a Buffalo Bills fan but I don’t make excuses simply the 2022 Bills football team failed like all Bills teams have failed since 1965 onward to the 2023 Buffalo Bills. As Buffalo fan I have remain the same for 49 years and counting win a championship or it is simply a failed season onward to the next season it works for me as a Buffalo fan no excuses Buffalo players, scouts, coaches, general managers, owners come and go regardless of the sport we are talking about the champions will be remembered. What about the losers? No they won’t be remembered fondly they will just become foot notes and statistics in the media guides and records of the NFL under Buffalo Bills stats pages of that particular year in my opinion. Agreed the ugly glass design does nothing for me because it doesn’t fit into Western New York. I think if we are going cheaper why have any lights or a replay board? Make it like old Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field where Buffalo Bills have to play at 1:00 every Sunday at the new Bills stadium. Since the Bills are keeping it simple make it historic hand operated scoreboard like 1940’s Buffalo Civic Stadium. No replay boards and no stadium lights. That makes the stadium experience unique and stand out. Nothing we are doing is buzz worthy. I guarantee if the Bills said we are building a historic football stadium with no replay boards all hand operated with no stadium lights fans would come from all over like fans go to Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field in my opinion. Your missing my point New York State your still making more money than Canada add to the NFL 32 team revenue pie. Plus the NFL offices are in New York City the League isn’t pulling the Bills out of New York State under any scenario for Canada. The Los Angeles Times talking to a Los Angeles council member at the time trying to get Los Angeles a NFL team named Bernard Parks let the cat out of the bag yet some Buffalo Bills fans still live in forever fear of the Bills moving. Quote “moving the Buffalo Bills out of New York State is to hard and messy there would be court lawsuits and the NFL owners want no part of that.” He also said “ think of the NFL as the old mafia.” “The NFL isn’t messing with each teams 32 territories.” Bernard Parks is a outsider from Los Angeles saying which teams are moveable and which ones would be messy at the time of the Los Angeles Times article. San Diego, Oakland were easy that is why they were moved. St Louis was messy and the NFL paid St Louis settling out of court for Stan Kronke’s mess. Los Angeles is one thing Toronto isn’t that important to the NFL owners like Los Angeles is. The Cincinnati Bengals potentially will be in Canada before the Buffalo Bills. If what you said was how the NFL owners felt when they talked to New York State leaders the Buffalo Bills would be moved already and told to forget building a new stadium. Including that bum Jerry Jones who thinks that the Buffalo Bills play in Northern New York. It’s not happening because what you are discounting is Western New York isn’t just Buffalo people here. They are Global brand already like all NFL teams today they already have fans in Canada and Mexico already they don’t have to move there. The Bills if they were going to move to Toronto it would have happened already. The Bills are a television show one of 32 NFL television shows so instead of a Brady Bunch television show lunch box you are buying jerseys, hats, t-shirts they don’t need boxes and crap like that the television and streaming packages do that. We sell merchandise a lot of it all over the Globe. Again Denver will be moved before Buffalo. Because they are isolated by the Rocky Mountains Colorado isn’t as financial as well off as New York State same deal in Ohio and Kansas City. The Chiefs can move they don’t have the Stock Market Exchange in Kansas City like New York State. Ok it is irrational fear in Western New York I could guess and make up whatever city. Oh boy the Bills could move A, B, C, D City? They aren’t moving they never were because New York State is a big one population and in one of the biggest financial markets in the World let’s not act like New York State is Rhode Island. New York Bills is basically the worst thing for some Buffalo Bills fans they might have to deal with someday at worse but they will have to accept that like we do with everything else today it is what it is. I realize as a Bills fan I am wrong person because I see everything as the same concept Bills, Bisons, Bonnies, Bulls, Griffs and Sabres etc root for the home team buy merchandise and stuff my mouth with foods and drinks hoping Buffalo wins a championship. The Bills aren’t going anywhere and if they do so what? I watch my Los Angeles Braves-Clippers on television as a 49 year plus Buffalo Braves fan that is Buffalo fan and team loyalty. I will watch and root for the Bills franchise regardless. I am not living in Buffalo Bills moving fear there a professional football team that is all that are supposed to be enjoyed for pleasure not living in irrational fear.

This post is all hypothetically. The Bills fan base is bigger with potentially the five boroughs of New York City over Toronto and Canada. Forget New Jersey. New York State doesn’t get New York Giants and New York Jets taxable money. New York Giants are most likely never leaving New Jersey. Again under the high speed train system the Buffalo Bills could stay in Western New York under a New York Bills name change to grow the Bills fan base larger potentially. Toronto and Vancouver will come under NFL expansion franchises at some point like the NBA did again just my opinion. The NFL isn’t giving Buffalo owners who ever they are in the future Toronto and Canada for free. Even the New York Bills scenario if the Bills moved to New York City moving fees would have to be paid. Under that scenario the Bills ownership isn’t doing that nor will they have to. The Bills under the new name New York Bills by staying in Western New York and there isn’t a thing that the New York Jets and New York Giants could do about it to stop the Bills from doing that with no territory fees required because the Bills are still in Buffalo not New York City. A court isn’t going to be able to stop it because the Buffalo Bills actually play in New York State and the Jets and Giants don’t they play in New Jersey. Also the Los Angeles Angels are in Anaheim Southern California OC not LA. As time goes by I really believe that we will be called New York Bills tried first before moving anywhere smaller like Toronto. Toronto is smaller than the Five boughs of New York. If I was the Bills owner I do that before Toronto. New York Bills advertising in New York City with Josh Allen makes me more money than moving to Toronto. Winning a Super Bowl would also help with this growing the Bills New York State NFL football brand like Alabama or Georgia or Florida college football teams. With the slogan New York’s only NFL football team the New York Bills with a Josh Allen billboard in Times Square would also help with that message. Again the problem is there are too many small timers here in our Buffalo business and political communities. You don’t let a NFL franchise leave New York State only incompetent people do that like the business and political leaders in Oakland, California who are completely incompetent.

The Buffalo Bills aren’t going anywhere out of the state with New York State involved now with the Buffalo Bills future. At worst someone worth $150 billion owner buys the Buffalo Bills and moves them to Upper Manhattan in a Sofi style stadium called potentially hypothetically Polo Grounds V Minnesota Vikings style dome in 2057. New York Bills you get on a high speed train at a Buffalo train station and your in New York City in 2 hours and home in Buffalo in 2 hours. That is worse case scenario and it isn’t that bad. A lot of Buffalo fans follow the New York Yankees like myself what is the difference? It has nothing to do with the fans these are business decisions we have no say on what so ever. Just win that is all I care about as a sports fan weather it’s my Bills, my Sabres or my Yankees whatever team just win.

The Golden State Warriors went across the bridge fine. But Oakland area leaders don’t get the benefit of the doubt when you lose a NFL and a MLB franchise since 2019 that is just incompetent or corrupt leadership or both. I would look into if Oakland area political leaders took campaign contributions from the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants ownership in anyway who greatly benefited in a one team Bay Area town? From a television and sponsorship way that no one in the media is looking into. Journalism is terrible today the public interest forget it that went away a long time ago. I don’t know what happened I don’t live in Oakland but something funny happened there? Either that or some kind of corrupt land grab with either the port or the Coliseum land that crook politicians in the mayor’s office or the Oakland council benefit? That news conference by the Oakland mayor’s office was pathetic it was a dog and pony show with her allies congratulating each other blaming the Oakland Athletics pathetic. Even San Diego were able to at least keep the San Diego Padres.

I agree the USFL schedule weather wise plus Michigan and Pittsburgh in the USFL would fit Buffalo better. I would go if I was still healthy enough but I would by USFL or XFL season tickets for my relatives as gifts anyway because it is the right thing to do for improving the Buffalo community for everyone because the XFL and USFL is working people prices compared to the NFL that isn’t about working people anymore it is a high middle class and upper class governmental and business elites not lower middle class and down anymore. There is no way my blue collar father could afford Buffalo Bills tickets with PSL’s today if he was alive to even take me to a game. I have already been at UB Bulls football season tickets for 30 plus years $125 for the whole season with free parking that is working class prices not honey can I spend $5,000 with three year financing for PSL’s so I can buy Bills seasons tickets what the hell is that? It’s elite crap it is what is. Buffalo Bills fans don’t seem to get it or just flat out don’t care that the NFL isn’t a working class league anymore. Our politicians certainly don’t care and neither do our business elites it was never about football or us for them. The USFL and XFL is going after a different football fan from the NFL. No one is saying that the NFL isn’t great because it is but it is a television show now for a lot of us Buffalo Bills fans today. That shouldn’t mean we don’t let Burger King or Tim Horton’s in Buffalo because not everyone can afford Salvatore’s Wonderful Restaurant. You don’t lock out Burger King and Tim Horton’s to protect Salvatore’s the Buffalo Bills being Salvatore’s with the XFL Burger King or USFL Tim Horton’s.

I disagree they will both make it. Because of the competition for live sports programming today with multiple television and streaming platforms we have a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 days a year Wheel Of Fortune Television Show channel on Pluto television. I think the USFL and XFL will be fine. Again the USFL isn’t going anywhere FOX NBC is load money wise. Same deal with XFL ESPN/ABC isn’t going anywhere Disney is loaded money wise. Fans have to get by the USFL, XFL isn’t NFL crap they said it was. None of these leagues are the NFL including the NHL, MLS, NBA, MLB. Again these leagues are good for growing professional football in communities that the corrupt NFL owners will never expand in. As an American I like competition in everything. If you don’t like the USFL or XFL don’t watch it no one is forcing anyone to watch anything. But I am a sports fan and watch both the XFL and USFL. I am looking forward to watching the new professional Cricket League Major League Cricket starting it looks interesting why not I might learn something new.

LeSean McCoy shouldn’t throw stones in glass houses he didn’t accomplish anything close to what Jim Kelly did as a Buffalo Bills player. I didn’t see LeSean McCoy leading the Buffalo Bills to one Super Bowl much less four Super Bowls. LeSean McCoy isn’t OJ Simpson, Joe Cribbs, Thurman Thomas as a Buffalo Bills running back let’s get that out of the way as a Bills fan 49 years and counting. So at best LeSean McCoy is 4th best back I have seen. Only counting what they did in a Bills uniform. I get Marshawn Lynch what he did after he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks.

I agree allow the players to gamble if they don’t do there job or tank on field plays just cut said player it isn’t that hard for a coach when evaluating players on coaching film. Who are the owners kidding gambling is happening most likely a distant relative places the bet for the NFL players whatever the sport there is no difference there still gambling. Chicago Bulls Michael Jordan is rumored to have gambled on NBA games that is rumored to be why the year in baseball with the Chicago White Sox same owner of both teams. If the game is fixed that is on the fools gambling there money the gambling fan doesn’t have my sympathy. One takes that chance with gambling. I believe gambling has gone on for a long time with players. As a sports fan I want Pete Rose back in the dugout where he belongs. Rumor is your going to have sports book right inside the new Las Vegas Athletics baseball stadium. Gambling is never going away because it has always been there from day one with the invention of sports. The owners and media are ridiculous there as corrupt as they come and don’t have the higher ground anymore that went away long ago if there really was there to begin with? People are over 21 years old they know what they are getting into no sympathy from this Buffalo fan gamble away if you choose.

Why? It isn’t like the Buffalo Bills are moving. NFL ownership is different now too many negative Bills fans if this was the truth which I don’t believe it is. Too many negative Bills fans assume the worst because in there reality they see PSE as Buffalo sports savior and there just isn’t anyone else out there because at the time of Ralph Wilson passing there wasn’t more Bills suitors things happen with the passage of time. I think the Buffalo Sabres are going to be sold in a few years because the Sabres lease is almost up and what is needed renovations wise with Key Bank Center. They will have suitors because there is only 32 NFL and 32 NHL franchises. The NFL especially the television networks contracts make owning a NFL franchise very lucrative and in demand when they become available. Anyway if the Buffalo Bills were for sale the Jeremy Jacobs family would potentially be in play for the Buffalo Bills along with many other interested owners we have no idea what is out there potentially better than PSE. The Jacobs family couldn’t bid on the Bills before because of their gambling holdings in West Virginia race tracks I believe. Las Vegas Raiders are in Vegas and the NFL the league is in bed with gambling companies now. I think if and that is if this was true with the new Bills stadium a done deal the Jacobs family I believe would be in play as a potential Bills buyer. And yes I would take there sports ownership/leadership with what they accomplished as Boston Bruins owners and there real local Buffalonians that still live here yes. Why does that make a difference? It does when a family lives in Buffalo and is here to face the music it would be a huge improvement over the absence of PSE ownership in the Buffalo community everyday along with a potential more positive culture instead of everything is a state secret as One Bills Drive under PSE. But unfortunately I don’t think there is anything to this story sadly we are stuck with PSE with more potential suffering.

As a practicing Catholic my whole life Lutheran is close there isn’t much difference but there are some differences. I believe Lutheran was named for Martin Luther that left the Catholic Church that is all I got.

Which is ridiculous no one with any self respect and pride is going to stay under those conditions if that was the case who knows. We all are going to find out as Buffalo Bills fans what Sean McDermott is made of as a head coach this season.

What is the point of comparing there all incompetent? All these Buffalo Bills general managers have failed. Next just a waste of time comparing Brandon Beane he should be fired if the Buffalo Bills don’t win the Super Bowl this season have standards Bills fans. I have seen enough of that Bills nonsense of failure for 49 years and counting. As a Bills fan I make zero excuses for forever mediocrity.

Because it gives Buffalo Bills fans something to talk about in the off season.
