Buffalo Super Fan

I think it’s up to television but as much as I enjoyed both the USFL and XFL. I am older so I prefer the USFL has name recognition. Both I think it is going to be hard for neither one of these leagues to make it compared to the Arena/Indoor Football Leagues. Because arena rent is cheaper than stadium rent, less players to pay with cheaper salaries of $250 to $500 dollars a game the arena/indoor football is set up better to survive. Bottom line I get there is a difference for a lot of football fans between outdoor and arena/indoor football but basically it’s fun while it lasts. But I am wrong Buffalo fan to ask I like professional wrestling and roller derby growing up as a kid on Saturday’s on television. I am more open to alternative leagues whatever it’s fun while it last. I have seen everything in Buffalo when you get to that place as a Buffalo sports fan it is wonderful place you don’t care about greedy ownerships, politicians determining your sports future who are incompetent. Because you know someone or something team wise will be running around with Buffalo’s name on it. I have supported independent professional wrestling shows in Buffalo for years because it’s good for Buffalo. I am for all our arenas and stadiums being open to rent with a set price with the present teams tenants not determining to how, what to rent and price but a Buffalo sports stadium, arena board or commission of local business people and fans determining what is best for the fans not the individual owners or the politicians. If the Buffalo Bills or Buffalo Sabres can’t compete with the Buffalo Blizzard or Buffalo Destroyers or a Buffalo Stampede Roller Hockey or Buffalo Roller Derby team or whatever because the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres don’t get there rent anymore but the arena, stadium board for savings for future upgrades that is on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres they weren’t good enough as a business bye, bye if they demand that. The city and county around the country need to put an end to that business practice in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Your going to have more leg room and wider seats because Highmark Stadium wasn’t designed for chair backs they had to get it grandfathered to get the late 1990’s renovation into code if memory serves me. Buffalo Bills fans will get more leg room but most likely will not like the viewing experience further away and divided even more from the players than currently at Highmark Stadium unless you have a ton of money for the seats see Sofi Stadium. Does the NFL love the Buffalo Bills or Josh Allen? Looking at it objectively the NFL and the nation loves Josh Allen because he is exciting to watch playing football like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan or Larry Bird playing basketball. As a long time Buffalo Bills fan the Bills really haven’t won anything like a Green Bay, New York Giants, Pittsburgh or New England which have won a lot so the Bills aren’t up there historically with those NFL franchises. It’s Josh Allen is must watch television the Bills haven’t had a star like that since OJ Simpson. The 1990’s Buffalo Bills were very good the sum of their parts as a team but Jim Kelly was a try hard star it’s different. Jim Kelly plugged away gave everything he had and was a good leader but he didn’t have the star power of a Josh Allen being athletically gifted it’s different. I am a huge Jim Kelly fan but looking at it objectively Josh Allen is just athletically more gifted than a Jim Kelly or a Thurman Thomas. OJ Simpson, Josh Allen and Bruce Smith on defense were the three best I have seen in my lifetime as a Bills fan athletically. It use to be OJ Simpson with a debate about Bruce Smith on the defensive side of the football but Josh Allen with everything bigger today in the NFL nationally has passed even OJ Simpson as best Buffalo Bills player all time in my 49 plus years watching the Bills in my opinion. Everyone is missing a key point it’s in PSE best interest to get the project done on time or PSE have to pay for the delay’s and cost overruns. This isn’t like expanding a Erie County road or building that Kennington tunnel that will most likely be delayed. PSE will get the new Buffalo Bills stadium open up on time in my opinion. Go Bills! Buffalo Bills fans are 40 years to late on the commercialization of the NFL. What Bills quarterback Josh Allen is doing personally on his off days is none of my business. Buffalo Bills fans should worry about Jerry Jones and Legends in our wallets if Bills fans want to legitimately want to be concerned about something in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! I am saying Maurice Linquist isn’t doing anything special that any other college coach would be doing in the MAC level it’s not like the MAC is the Big Ten or the SEC. See you are looking at it as a Big Ten Conference perspective. I am saying when Buffalo got the field house and all the locker room stuff it put us on even terms in the MAC. When that happened because of the Murchie Family generosity. Buffalo culturally is better than the rest of the MAC which is in some dump cities. Any coach can win at UB football if he is competent. I am not comparing to anyone but the MAC because that is the level we have to compete with for bowl games. Our locker rooms are better than the current Buffalo Bills team until they move into there new stadium. Look at UNLV and Buffalo there locker rooms are basically identical in the Group of Five schools. Our stadium sucks to watch games in but that doesn’t affect the players so it really doesn’t affect recruiting. We are getting the same MAC athlete regardless. UB will win regardless of who the coach is because it’s not 1999 with no facilities anymore at UB. I am not impressed with Maurice Linquist anymore than I am with Lance Leipold. Turner Gill I was impressed with because he won a MAC championship when our facilities were Division 3. That isn’t the case anymore thanks to the Murchie family. UB has spent a lot of money on facilities compared to the rest of the MAC that is why we are bowling and football coaches actually want to come here because you can win with the facilities here now. Plus what Buffalo adds culturally as a big league NFL city. You can’t sell that with the Ohio Bobcats in Tim Buck Too Ohio. Players know Buffalo is a NFL market now with the added facilities that is why more than anything special Maurice Linquist or any other fool UB hires it’s the MAC we match up favorably when UB made the facilities investment to train. It is hardly anything Maurice Linquist has done. Maurice Linquist wouldn’t recruit anything great without the facilities that the Murchie family invested in. It isn’t like UB Bulls football is completing with Miami, Florida and Florida State. If UB can’t out recruit Bowling Green football with all their cut backs to Ohio education we minds as well drop out of college football if that was the case which it isn’t. We are never going to be Power 5 anything but King Of the MAC is likely where UB will always be as long as the UB facilities are current for the athletes to train. I don’t think there will be delays because the Buffalo Bills stadium isn’t really complicated with removing a lot of the site with demolition it’s ready to build on already shovel ready hence why the site was chosen. I think the Buffalo Bills stadium will go up fast think like a Las Vegas hotel fast. There are no legal challenges so the Buffalo Bills are good to start building right away. Also for record I don’t ever remember a arena or stadium not built on time in Buffalo in my 55 years living here? Rich Stadium I saw go up every week going to my aunt and uncle’s house 5 minutes from the stadium was on time. Pilot Field was on time. Marine Midland Arena was on time. UB Stadium was on time. That is one thing we are good at with construction getting arena and stadiums built on time looking at our Buffalo sports history. Because Buffalo people working on it will want to go to it and people will be focused on it so it will be on time even if the Bills have to add more crews to catch up to keep it on schedule in my opinion. Yes but the moment Stefon Diggs skills start to go players that aren’t around and not at Buffalo Bills team building out of site out of mind. They are the first to go and loudest to complain why doesn’t anyone want to sign me. Maybe if you were there you would have gotten the benefit of doubt by a NFL team this case the Bills. Stefon Diggs is a great player but a fool not being there is a reflection on him. If Josh Allen makes the effort so should Stefon Diggs we are starting to see the crap Stefon Diggs pulled with the Minnesota Vikings in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

A lot of older Buffalo Bills fans are going to say OJ Simpson having seen him I would say no. Because I felt OJ Simpson in some ways hurt the 1970’s era Buffalo Bills because it was all about OJ. Getting OJ the football making sure OJ was happy and he wasn’t alway complaining about contracts, money or wanting out of Buffalo to pursue a movie career. It was OJ not enough team all about me and at the end his teammates were glad he was traded because it was always something with OJ Simpson but very talented. The Bills only got to one playoff game a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1974 with OJ he wasn’t a winner in the pros. I would say Thurman Thomas would be better with Josh Allen than with Jim Kelly that was more limited athletically. Your not asking best running back that is OJ. Who would fit better with the more athletic QB Josh Allen compared Jim Kelly to win a Super Bowl. I would take Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith on defense of the 1990’s Bills teams with Lou Saban coaching with no general manager control he was like Scotty Bowman great coach horrible General Manager like Bill Belichick same deal great coach horrible general manager. So Lou Saban instead of Sean McDermott multiple Super Bowls for the Buffalo Bills in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Surprise AFC East Wildcard to many fans are discounting the New England Patriots as long as Bill Belichick is coaching they will be a contender. 2. No it’s Josh Allen and the rest AFC East. New England Patriots Bill Belichick is presently the greatest NFL coach ever. The Buffalo Bills would be looking for our third Super Bowl in row right now if he was the Buffalo Bills head coach. I would give up a first rounder to acquire him as a head coach that is how much I believe in him as a head coach. That is what is so unfortunate the Bills roster talent is here for Super Bowl championships multiple what a waste of Bills talent. This is going to be potentially Marv Levy all over again with Sean McDermott. I have seen this Bills show of wasted talent it’s unbelievable it’s potentially happening again in my opinion. Go Bills! I am not concerned with Josh Allen’s quarterback play. What is Sean McDermott doing to change as a head coach would be a good question to ask? Keep dreaming the New York Jets flat out suck and need to move back to New York City where they belong with a new owner that actually cares. Aaron Rodgers is done football championship level at 40 years old like Johnny Unitas and Joe Namath done. Think about it you think Green Bay Packers are trading Aaron Rodgers if there was anything left in the tank. I trust Green Bay Packers organization judgement on players over the hapless New York Jets that along with the Detroit Lions two of the worst professional sports franchises in sports today. Woody Johnson and Willam Clay Ford and the Ford Family couldn’t run a lemonade stand when it comes to NFL football franchises and judgement of anything. I would bet against both these hapless franchises run by incompetent owners for decades ever winning a Super Bowl or a Division Championship again unless they lucked into it which these two franchises can’t even do that. As a Buffalo Bills fan for 49 years and counting. I have found the Bills fans have more creativity with ideas than the Bills organization regardless of who owns the Bills in the NFL. The No Fun League NFL it’s basically the same tired Madison Avenue ideas of the NFL for all the teams. When the Buffalo Bills left the AFL in the merger with the NFL bye, bye fun and new the AFL teams need to conformed to the NFL and like it. We didn’t even get to keep our league AFL name like AL and NL in MLB baseball that’s not right if you asked me. I would not have taken the merger under those conditions because it’s accepting that the AFL was inferior which was far from the truth in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Agree unfortunately some Buffalo fans regardless of the sport don’t understand that simple concept of sports if the Buffalo Bills/Sabres whatever the sports team were the final playoff team or the number one playoff team you have to be in the playoffs to win it. Just that simple phase you have to be in the playoffs to win it sounds reasonable. Yet it’s difficult for some of the fool Buffalo sports fans that embrace tanking and rebuilding, suffering forever you show me that you show me a loser fan. I don’t believe that mentality has any where in the sports world. Fool Buffalo Sabres fans while the Boston Bruins lost to Florida Panthers. Yet we have some Buffalo Sabres fans and it’s not just Buffalo fans you see this through out sports with fan bases that don’t want to make the playoffs this year for the stupid draft pick because in there alternate reality sports world they felt the Buffalo Sabres or fill in the blank city sports team had no chance in the first round better to take the higher draft pick loser mentality. Then that same fan is shocked no one any good in free agency wants to play for the Buffalo Sabres or the Houston Texans? While the Houston Astros won another World Series Championship and free agents want to place with the Houston Astros. I use as a example same city? Ok it’s the ownership and the organization it has nothing to do with the city’s sports fans of Houston just that Bob McNair of the Houston Texans is a horrible owner. Why is one shocked that no good free agents want to play for the Houston Texans. Athletes are programmed to win games and championships not throwing away seasons tanking, excuse making wasting everyone’s and the players time in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

I don’t believe in Maurice Linquist. Most of the UB Bulls football credit recruiting wise goes to the UB Bulls facilities thanks largely to the generousity of the Murchie family and the UB private donors that is why UB Bulls football is successful today in the MAC. I believe in the UB generous donors yes. The whole UB Bulls football setup will win for decades to come in the MAC that is what is so sad that it’s ignored for the most part by the Western New York sports fans. I have followed the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres longer than the UB Bulls and I don’t have the trust or belief in neither of those two teams ever winning anything under PSE terrible leadership. UB Bulls football is set up to win more so then either the Buffalo Bills or the Buffalo Sabres. Trust me Maurice Linquist will win regardless of his questionable in game coaching decisions and he will move on at some point. Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan who doesn’t really don’t go or follows the UB Bulls other than from a casual distance will say that UB Bulls suck now because Maurice Linquist left. Which isn’t the case but to them the sky is falling to make up for there own limitations as a sports fan in Buffalo when it comes to UB Bulls football or anything that isn’t Buffalo Bills and maybe they will mix in a Buffalo Sabres game. Believe me I have lived in Buffalo for 55 years and counting. Buffalo sports fan wouldn’t know a good deal and a winner if I spotted them the wi in win. Because Buffalo isn’t a college sports town unfortunately anymore which is sad but it is what it is todays. Imagine if the New York Yankees didn’t sign Aaron Judge how boring using your words this Yankees might be? The Yankees to me needed to sign Aaron Judge and it’s peanuts compared to what the Yankees bring in revenue wise with Aaron Judge in the Yankees lineup. The Yankees problem is there farm system isn’t producing enough Aaron Judges, Derek Jeter and Bernie Williams 5 tool players anymore like they use to. And Hal Steinbrenner is cheap compared to George Steinbrenner, less hands on which is a problem. Because Hal Steinbrenner gives off like Buffalo Sabres hockey owner Terry Pegula a doesn’t care vibe which doesn’t help. The Yankees should have fired both Brian Cashman and Aaron Boone last year when they had the chance in my opinion. Go Yankees! Let’s Go Buffalo

It doesn’t take luck it takes competent people in charge owner all the way down to the players. The AFC East really hasn’t improved it’s Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills division until proven otherwise. Aaron Rodgers is our Drew Bledsoe when he was with the Buffalo Bills nothing more for the New York Jets. If Buffalo Bills fans are afraid of a 40 year old Aaron Rodgers then that doesn’t say much about the Buffalo Bills team we are supporting does it? Yes I am happy with the pick because the Buffalo Bills offense has to carry this team with Josh Allen. Because I have no faith in the Bills defense with the loss of Tremaine Edmunds under Sean McDermott.
