Poor coaching preparation, game planning and incompetent ownership over the past 50 years both Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. And when they were here in Buffalo it also applied to the Buffalo Braves too. The only coach worth anything was Dr. Jack Ramsay but like the Buffalo Bills, Sabres the Braves had incompetent ownership. The Braves owner incompetent Paul Snyder fired Jack Ramsay after the 1975-1976 season he get hired by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1976-77 that weren’t packing them in back then. Portland wins the NBA championship that first year in Portland win the NBA championship that in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Because Tyrod Taylor wasn’t here very long with the Buffalo Bills. Let’s not act like Tyrod Taylor was like Joe Ferguson who was here for over a decade and is all but forgotten about by a lot of today’s Buffalo Bills fans over shadowed by Jim Kelly era. Which I understand why that is but just saying Tyrod Taylor forget about him. I don’t understand why Joe Ferguson is basically ignored by this Buffalo Bills fans and the Bills franchise today. Is it really that hard to just retire Joe Ferguson number 12 it’s not like the Buffalo Bills are using the number anyway because it’s retired for Jim Kelly. Same Tom Barrasso’s number 30 not like the Buffalo Sabres are using it anyway Ryan Miller. The Buffalo Sabres Rene Robert is more revered than Buffalo Bills Joe Ferguson. I was a fan of both but Rene Robert has his number retired really didn’t do all that much more than Joe Ferguson in professional sports in Buffalo. I think Joe Ferguson was overshadowed by the Electric Company with OJ. Then in the early 1980’s Joe Ferguson was in his prime that main problem was Ralph Wilson’s cheap ness not paying coaches and players to stay together. Joe Ferguson was always getting use to new coaches and players because Ralph Wilson didn’t want to pay to keep the team together until the 1990’s. When Ralph Wilson was older and I think realized I can’t take the money with me so Ralph Wilson had a change of heart and started spending more money on retaining his talent. But we wasted those early 1980’s teams. If Chuck Knox was kept there is no way the Bills are 2-14 in 1984 and 1985 in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Linus Ullmark has himself to blame why he isn’t with the Buffalo Sabres anymore. Buffalo Sabres GM Kevyn Adams wants players that want to be Buffalo Sabres. Does a player willing to take less money to sign with the hated Boston Bruins while asking more from the Buffalo Sabres that took the time to develop him sound like a player that wants to be a Buffalo Sabres player? To me no Linus Ullmark was in different being a Buffalo Sabres like Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart and Rasmus Ristolainen were like that as to why Linus Ullmark wasn’t resigned. You can’t win with players like that valuing money over team loyalty. The Buffalo Sabres GM Kevyn Adams made the right decision here on “Benedict Arnold” Linus Ullmark running to the hated Boston Bruins he can rot with the Boston Bruins the trader. The Boston Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and Red Sox suck in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

Local shops that help you pick out your outfit?
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Einstein's topic in Off the Wall
I wear Hawaiian shirts all the time in the summer but I also wore leisure suits and track suits as a kid growing up in the 1970’s and Miami Vice look pastels in the 1980’s and neon in the 1990’s. My fashion clothes range is all over the place because of the times I personally grew up in. That is why I wear what I want and don’t care what others might think. Because I am the best that’s the attitude aloha in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
As a Buffalo Bills and UB Bulls football fan I don’t like the idea of the Buffalo Bills ever using a blue helmet because the Blue helmet represents UB Bulls football. The Buffalo Destroyers also had blue helmets that I also was a fan of. The Buffalo Bills doing a blue helmet to me represent out of ideas copy someone else’s success in Buffalo. The Buffalo Bills should look to there past AAFC days with Silver helmets with Buffalo Bill Cody logo on the helmet. Or a brown leather helmet look with Buffalo Bill Cody logo on the helmet. The Buffalo Bills should use the Buffalo Bill Cody logo riding on a Buffalo in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

See that is basically the problem with Albany sports there is no hometown civic pride there like Buffalo. I am 55 years old growing up in the Buffalo area my entire life. Grant it I grew up in my Buffalo suburb area where cable wasn’t available until I was 12 years old in the Buffalo suburb I grew up in because the cable area wasn’t built yet. But the Buffalo Bisons, Buffalo Bandits and Buffalo Big Four Division 1 colleges that make up the old Western New York Little Three basketball Canisius Golden Griffins, St Bonaventure Brown Indians now Bonnies and Niagara Purple Eagles of the old Western New York Little Three basketball now Big 4 basketball with Buffalo (UB) Bulls was a big deal because it is what we have along with the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Braves NBA basketball team that was here until I was 10 years old. Buffalo what ever we were in was the best place to be. There was a Buffalo Civic Pride sort of thing who ever Buffalo was playing the other teams are the enemy. So I never looked down on the Buffalo Bisons and Toronto Blue Jays are 90 minutes from us. As a New York Yankees fan I go up to Toronto for Yankees games but I still am a Buffalo Bisons fan first over the New York Yankees. I really don’t care if it’s the Buffalo Bandits or the Buffalo Bills or the Buffalo Bisons it’s the place to be. I really don’t think of it that way inferior product. If Buffalo and the rest of the AFL thought like that inferior to the NFL we Buffalo wouldn’t be in the NFL today. I grew up with the Buffalo Stallions MISL indoor soccer as Stallions fan for all 5 years they played in Buffalo than the Buffalo Blizzard NPSL indoor soccer as a Blizzard fan for all 9 years they played in Buffalo never thought of them as inferior Buffalo teams. Same with the Buffalo Destroyers Arena Football League for 5 years. I just supported my Buffalo sports teams because it’s what we have. I also use to follow the Hamilton Tiger Cats CFL football because we are a boarder city and we got those games on regular Buffalo analog television broadcasts from Toronto CTV and CBC. That is why if the NFL Buffalo Bills ever moved for whatever reasons I favor Buffalo going to the CFL over the USFL or XFL because of half the league CFL Eastern Division would be driving distance and CFL would be a better fit season weather schedule wise for Buffalo and the CFL has more tradition of playing football for decades now then the start in my opinion. Detroit-unveils new Helmet in honor of their 90th season

I actually liked the Detroit Lions helmet color and logo looks great to me in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Yes we watch it. It’s a big deal because since Terry Pegula took over we are seeing more of that like he is purposely running the Buffalo Sabres into the ground like Major League Movie with the Cleveland Indians owner. What kind of bum does that having Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres games on at the same time. Terry Pegula is weird “Howard Hughes like”. The day Terry Pegula sells the Buffalo Sabres Party at Buffalo Super Fans house. I want that for the Buffalo Sabres and our Sabres fans more than a Super Bowl if given the choice either or for Buffalo to have a separate Buffalo Sabres owner again would be wonderful for this city again just a garbage hockey owner hockey hell for 12 straight years. Sell the Buffalo Sabres Terry Pegula is like John Fisher owner of the Oakland Athletics pure garbage as a hockey owner sell the Buffalo Sabres before our attendance gets so bad like the Oakland Athletics we can’t be saved. Just remember the Buffalo Sabres lease is up in a few years and I don’t trust Terry Pegula doing the right thing he isn’t Ralph Wilson or Seymour Knox he is too greedy to be those two class gentleman in my opinion. Go Bills! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

I disagree I can’t speak for anyone else but I am pretty happy as a Buffalo Bills fan the Buffalo Bandits won a NLL championship and the Buffalo championship parade was really nice in my opinion. Go Bandits! Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Yes I second that as a Buffalo Sabres fan in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo

I just root for the Buffalo Bills football team. I really don’t root for individual football players in the NFL especially ones that aren’t on my team in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Dominik Hasek was the greatest goalie I ever saw and the Buffalo Sabres organization were incompetent to not win a Stanley Cup with Hasek in Buffalo is embarrassing. Now we will see if that happens again with Buffalo Bills Josh Allen? Time will tell but I have zero tolerance the bums running our sports teams and neither one the Buffalo Sabres or the Buffalo Bills get the benefit of the doubt anymore. I don’t trust no process after 49 years of maybe next year it’s cliche. When you see the Buffalo sports teams waste O.J. Simpson, Gilbert Perrault, Bob McAdoo, Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Dominik Hasek, Jack Eichel so far in my time line as a Buffalo sports fan and now we have Josh Allen who knows how that turns out. The only generational talent the Buffalo sports teams didn’t waste was Buffalo Bandits John Tavares and Dhane Smith. Am I wrong? No that is why I don’t trust any process anymore with Buffalo sports teams in my opinion. Go Bandits! Go Sabres! Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

See those attendance numbers for the Buffalo fans on this board that don’t think Buffalo could support Arena Football this team is a defending NAL Arena Football champion Albany Empire Attendance. Buffalo Destroyers and Buffalo Blizzard neither team averaged under 4,635. The 2000-2001 Buffalo Blizzard there lowest attendance average in a single season playing at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium and Marine Midland Arena was 4,635 fans. Also as a season ticket holder for both these teams all the years they played in Buffalo. I question Buffalo Destroyers owner Mark Hamister $5 million dollars in 5 years. One he got a lot of that back when he sold the Buffalo Destroyers to Columbus, Ohio. A lot of that money loses was a bad very expensive lease deal with the new Marine Midland Arena and also his own doing as a sports owner making poor business decisions and terrible sports decisions on coaching and playing talent. First Buffalo Destroyers head coach Dave Whinham nice guy trying to start a professional volleyball league now today the PVF Professional Volleyball Federation was a terrible arena football head coach 1-17 in two years in Buffalo. Also Buffalo Destroyers owner Mark Hamister never owned a professional sports team before got to close to Dave Whinham and didn’t seem to understand the differences between everyday business loyalty and sports business ownership. All of Mark Hamister’s arena football teams failed and had lousy records the Rochester Brigade and the Cincinnati Swarm both of af2. So I wouldn’t judge Buffalo by Mark Hamister who wasn’t a good sports owner who ran away when Buffalo wouldn’t give him public money to retire old dept for buying the Buffalo Sabres then took his football and went home sort of thing where we all got the due to things unfortunately I am moving the Buffalo Destroyers to Columbus, Ohio letter in the mail as Destroyers season ticket holders in my opinion. Ok I said 20 I own the post. My apologies I am off by 4 Albany teams close enough. Albany is a embarrassment considering they have good paying big gov government jobs basically guaranteed backed by the government. Compared to a Buffalo that yes has a lot of big gov government jobs also but also a lot of small mom and pop businesses still where the pay is lower. So there is zero excuse that Albany can’t even support affiliated single a or double a baseball what a disgrace. The Albany Yankees double a Eastern League had Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams and Deion Sanders and yet Albany didn’t go to baseball games. I wouldn’t be challenging poster’s because of 16 or 20 teams what’s the difference it’s still a terrible track record when you consider the income and size of the market. Albany’s only one of a few defenses why teams fail is because Albany is big gov town it lacks the number of mom and pop businesses for ad revenue compared to a Buffalo. Buffalo still has that mom and pop businesses that big gov Albany hasn’t put out of business yet even though they are trying there best everyday to do so with their nonsense new rules and regulations in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -

Nothing against you I know what you are saying. It’s basically the same Capital region close enough. I get it it’s a Capital region thing. Bob is from Saratoga and Joe is from Albany blah, blah like it matters irrelevant they are all from Albany region. As a Buffalonian I call Orchard Park, Amherst, Niagara Falls and Southern Tier St Bonaventure, Allegany, Olean all Buffalo/Western New York region basically Buffalo. But I get the Capital Region and there individual thing that also helps explains the sports failure there is no hometown everyone rowing the boat so the sports team fails type of thing. You asked for it. 1. Albany Firebirds AFL 2. Albany Choppers IHL 3. New York Buzz WTT Tennis 4. Albany Patroons CBA 5. Albany River Rats AHL 6. Albany-Colonie Athletics- Yankees 7. Albany Capitals ASL Outdoor Soccer 8. New York Kick AISA Indoor Soccer 9. Albany Diamond Dogs NL Baseball 10. Albany Legends IBL 11. Albany Attack NLL Lacrosse 12. Tri-City ValleyCats New York-Penn 13. Albany Alleycats USL Outdoor S 14. Albany Conquest Arena Football2 15. Albany Eagles ASL Outdoor S 16. Albany Devils AHL 17. Albany Empire NAL as of Noon today. Not 20 but close enough what a disgrace. Again Albany isn’t a sports town. Why do I say that. I don’t say it to be mean or cruel it’s reality. I came to that conclusion not just because of the number of teams in a 30 to 40 years time frame it’s because they have had success yet still moved or folded in my opinion. Go Bills! Buffalo/Niagara Falls is #1 radio market for AM
Buffalo Super Fan replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
I think one thing people are missing with why AM radio is still popular in Buffalo is our long winter weather season here it plays a part. A cellular phone means nothing if you have no power. I keep a cupboard full of batteries always since 1977 Blizzard happened when they are on sale. I have transistor radios and Walkman from the 1970’s through the 1990’s. I think of stocking up for next winter weather now when there are sales. Buffalo AM radio is reliable if the power goes out. Also a lot of people are in there cars in the winter traffic in Buffalo taking it easy on the slippery roads you turn on local radio going to school and work it’s a conditioned thing having grown up in the winter weather my whole life. Radio becomes a friend when you are alone in a car trying to thaw out while driving to school or work and when you finally thaw out you are there to get frozen again. It’s has nothing to do with not changing with the times as much as it’s reliable the national radio out of New York City or Los Angeles isn’t going to tell you there is a back up at the big blue water tower in a winter storm in Buffalo in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Inside the NFL moving to the CW network
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
This show was popular in the 1980’s I would watch it on HBO with Len and Nick. But that was to see a good recap of the league highlights in depth because that is all we had technically wise back then in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
Is this year make or break for McDermott?
Buffalo Super Fan replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly have no idea what is going to happen to Seen McDermott nor do I really care at this point. I said everything about Sean McDermott already I wanted to say. It would be just piling on at this point. Sean McDermott as a NFL head coach is like paddling a canoe with one oar in the water instead of two oars going around in circles never going anywhere in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo -
As a Buffalo Bills fan I support Stefon Diggs over Sean McDermott. Sean McDermott whatever he says isn’t relevant because the Buffalo Bills can’t move Stefon Diggs it’s easy to fire in head coach Sean McDermott. If I owned the Buffalo Bills this problem would be settled. This goes back in my opinion to Stefon Diggs being very upset losing for two years in a row in the playoffs and Sean McDermott not getting his act together as a head coach. I don’t think Sean McDermott respects Stefon Diggs talent making sure he gets the football. As a Buffalo Bills fan for 49 years I don’t respect Sean McDermott. Respect is earned and Sean McDermott lost me with the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game two years ago. Stefon Diggs wants to win and Sean McDermott wants to play mind games. I would fire Sean McDermott making offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey the new Buffalo Bills head coach and giving Stefon Diggs a raise with a guarantee he is getting the football in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

No Vegas Golden Knights and Jack Eichel winning the Stanley Cup championship is the best thing if you want winning within the Buffalo Sabres organization next season because the excuses are over after tonight. No more excuses, no more rebuilding, no more tanking, results or your fired. Every Buffalo Sabres fan should be of that mindset after 12 years of no playoffs in Buffalo in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
-
But the Vegas Golden Knights still had to put the pieces altogether which isn’t easy. The bottom line like the Anaheim Mighty Ducks the Vegas Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup. It took 6 years for the city of Las Vegas to win a Stanley Cup. It’s been 12 years of nonsense from PSE with the Buffalo Sabres. Again Buffalo unfortunately don’t have enough Buffalo Sabres fans to ask for more instead choosing to back the Buffalo Sabres players and the incompetent organization no matter what. Again Buffalo has this same pattern with the Buffalo Bills with too many saying golly gee maybe next year that leads to multiple decades of losing. Again Buffalo has some of the worst incompetent sports management in the history of professional sports. Again would I be surprised if the Atlanta Thrashers and Houston Aeros won Stanley Cup before the Buffalo Sabres? BSF those two cities are not even in the NHL yet? Right for now but that is how bad the Buffalo Sabres coaching and management has been. The best thing to happen was Vegas Golden Knights vs 8th seed Florida Panthers for the Buffalo Sabres because the excuses are over. If Don Granato misses the playoffs both Don Granato and Kevyn Adams need to be fired in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
-
Why would anyone cheer for a NFC team if you are a Buffalo Bills fan? So no I only cheer for the Buffalo Bills in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

If the Jacksonville Jaguars play at the Daytona 500 Nascar Track they will draw fans potentially just for the curiosity factor and a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience something one has never seen before and may never see again. I think a lot of Florida football fans are going to go and it might actually expand their fan base in Florida. It is actually a pretty good idea. The New York Jets should play at Belmont Horse Racing Track with the horses the New York Islanders are already there in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

2023 Buffalo Bills from a Patriots fan perspective
Buffalo Super Fan replied to Fixxxer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean McDermott simply isn’t good enough. I don’t expect him to ever win the Buffalo Bills a Super Bowl Championship unfortunately for us Bills fans. I hope I am wrong but I am not expecting Seen McDermott to ever change he is a middle of the wrestling card professional wrestler to use a professional wrestling analogy that’s sums up Sean McDermott as a NFL head coach. Sean McDermott is never going to be a WWF Championship champion Hulk Hogan or NWA or WCW Championship champion Ric Flair. Sean McDermott is like a Greg “The Hammer” Valentine type wrestler a great mid card wrestler so a second tier champion WWF Intercontinental Championship champion or NWA US Championship Champion or NWA TV Champion or NWA/WWF Tag Team Champion. I have always felt Sean McDermott would be a great NCAA college football coach teaching about life whatever he isn’t a top card coach unfortunately there is no shame in that. But it’s just too much of a heavy lift for Sean McDermott in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
