  1. I honestly have loved Hard Knocks for so long. Even when it isn't that good I am pretty cool with it. I just hope this season they finally have some under dog stories about an un-drafted rookie trying to make the team, or a young veteran who is on the bubble and his career may be on the line, mixed in with the rich and successful veteran who is just trying to do his thing and get a Super Bowl ring, or a short little segment on quirky "character" type coaches.
  2. Will the players be allowed to wear stickers this season on behalf of domestic abuse victims? Oh...No?! Ok...didn’t think so. #Little2Close2Home
  3. There is a joke in here some where (actually everywhere), but I just don't feel like it today. Go Bills.
  4. foreboding, exactly. Clowney should have signed with someone earlier, even on a one year special. I doubt this season that people are going to pony up a 20- 25 million dollar 1 year deal for him when there is a chance we may not even see the end of it, and next year's cap at issue.
  5. Do we pay some people early, roll it forward or make some around here happy by bringing in Clowney?
  6. I am a let them play, but if they opt out God bless them guy as far as games go. However, that said, I am not against a number of these shortened season plans coming out. Do I want them to play the whole season? Yes. Is it going to happen? Maybe not. Am I thrilled with a partial season? No. Would I be happy if they get a "season" in some how, though? Yes. Would I still cheer on the Bills? Of course. Why am I talking to myself like this? I don't know. Should I probably end it here? You bet.
  7. H2o if the Pats end up going 2-14 and getting Lawrence there is a solid chance I am going to punch myself in the nuts as hard as I can until I pass out. ...and unfortunately that has been my go to punishment far too much lately.
  8. No. He is a champion who who just doesn't have the hardware yet and we are stronger with him and his character than speculation of what we may get down the road.
  9. McDermott 2024 ? "It's 4:30 AM in Washington. Who do you want answering the phone in the White House...we mean, you know...after he does his martial arts."
  10. I know we are all open to dialogue, BUT I honestly and truly think Alpha just wrapped this whole thing up nicely with the above. An easy period and what I would have been very comfortable with being the last post of this topic.
  11. WEO, one other thing for full disclosure...you are absolutely right. Truth be told in writing my post I just really like the word lunatic and I honestly and truly just wanted to use it. I think he’s great. After writing it just before I posted I thought to myself, “ ‘lunatic...that’s a little much, but who is going to bring it up?” ? My response to your post was nothing more than me trying to cover my own ass for using over the top language. Never ever stop being the person around here who always catches those of us for being...a little too much.
  12. Life is too short, and goes by too quickly. RIP and forever keep an eye on our Bills From above, Amigo.
  13. You mean the Tom Brady whose not with the Bill Belichek after the bad teammate got let go because he’s a bad person before the two times the bad teammate quit and then got suspended? And “Let’s get nuts” is something cool for Michael Keaton to say in Batman, not a wish list for a starting QB in the NFL. However, you still get a thumbs up because I always loves me some WEO, even when you’re giving me the business!
  14. Press: “Josh, what do you wish for most of all this season?” Josh Allen: “WOW, a lot of things, but most of all...I’d have to say I wish I could bring Aaron Hernandez back to life. We could sure use those hands and the shear drive of that guy is something we could use in the locker room.” Press and us: “...?” The hypothetical above provided to you as a reminder to be thankful that we don’t have a lunatic for a QB.
  15. My opinion differs so much between college and pros. pros: it’s a risk but it is our living...we all make money. college: f*** it, let’s make money off these students’ backs as long as we can, regardless of the risk.
  16. "But he didn't quit!" Sincerely, Lamar Jackson.
  17. Yeah, Hap, and they said "sent them home" in the video, but they should have stressed not home home, but rather, "sending them back to their resident facilities" or "to their Western New York housing" or something like that.
  18. They are just separating for distancing purposes. They will do the meetings with the rookies remotely/virtually. They are just trying to be safe.
  19. Thank you, but I love those scenes most of all. Additionally, in going through 4 episodes last night I experienced that first hand as only two of them on youtube had the full wolfman segments. Get bent music rights holders. Like they are going to profit just off of your content in their video.
  20. I am this virus' soupe du jour...hell, soup of the year. Over 50: ✔️ Obese (based upon 6' and over 220lbs): ✔️ Type 2 Diabetic: ✔️ Respiratory issues: ✔️ And based upon a recent article...baldness: ✔️ I wear a mask, social distance and wash my hands...but man I am Jesse Ventura to the virus' Predator.
  21. whoa, not to trouble you, but you peaked my interest. i understand the lapsing of rights to the songs, but can you explain the work around, or the “box sets” please? Time permitting, I mean.
  22. since your first reference today do you know how much I went back on this? A whole hell of a lot, brother. btw, put me in the Bill Van is a genius category. For those not in the know (and this is utterly unbelievable) there are 130 episodes of this show...all 130 were filmed over 9 months in 1971. Billy Van played 8 characters on the show. Thank you so much for this today, Chevy. I hadn’t thought about so many of the bits and characters For so long. Griszelda? Oh man! The librarian. Igor. All these bits are such a treasure to my youth. I can’t upvote you enough on this. Edit: it might be too much for my baby girl, but I so want to get her into this. Edit 2: the above was the first thing I went to afterwards today and I love the documentary at the end. RIP, BV.
