Week 4: Bills at Raiders
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am seriously going to lose it if our guys get sick out of another franchise's complacency and just plain laziness. Honestly, I will erupt. No offense to these Bills, but the Bills starting Fromm, MckKenzie, Roberts and Yeldon against the Chiefs on Thursday night all because the Raiders were BS a week and half previously would be...well...BS. -

West "coast"? 🤣😉 -
Wait...you just wait one damn minute right there, Shady. How dare you come in after a great victory and start spreading poop from other sources that will upset us. Adam Gase is a beautiful man, OK. A beautiful man, and he will be the coach of the Jets from now until forever and there isn't a damn thing you or your croanies can do about it!!!! *safe space, go back to my safe space...lalalalalala...smell the lavender, let it heal and calm me...*

Josh Allen 24/33 311 yards 4TDs Rating 128.91
dollars 2 donuts replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but honestly Hap, with inflation isn't Kelly's 1991 yards really about 1,450 and Bledsoe's 2002 maybe 1,200? 😁 -
Side note, though, is that we have had a top 10 defense for the previous 3 years and right now we are sitting at 20th. I agree with what was said by someone on GR this morning, we may be missing Star a bit. EJ Gaines' experience wouldn't hurt, either. Not all of the woe are due to some of these guys out, but it doesn't help. I truly respect the guys who made the tough decision to opt out. There reasons are there own, and I get it. Family first, amen. ...but if you didn't hate COVID enough in 2020...

Lead with the not so good. trends happen over a few games and one that I’ve notice since the playoff game last year is that the Bills have been out scored a total of 83-40 over the last four games in the second half (thanks Ed!). Houston: 22-6 Jets: 14-6 Miami: 18-14 Rams: 29-14 please change this soon. The Better one, the sexy one, the one I dig beyond all get out is that in the last 15 games Josh Allen has started and finished he has 27 td passes, 8 rushing tds and 1 receiving td for a total of 36. I believe that to be the most tds by a Buffalo Bill over a 15 game span...ever. Long live Kelly, but I think his best over 16 games was 34 (33 passing, 1 rushing). If I am wrong, I am sorry, but I don’t believe I am. I know he has had the best seat in the house for more than a decade, but man my Dad would have loved all this.

How to make an NFL interception.
dollars 2 donuts replied to MrSarcasm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brennan, we won in exciting fashion, but you know what...yeah, buddy, you are damn right. I enjoyed the win, but I literally can’t stop thinking about how that interception...was a real thing that happen in the real plain of existence. ....*looks left and right for Spock’s beard* -
TCMA, that is such BS. Edit: for clarification, brother, you are not BS, the ratings are. 😂 they had roster updates after week 1 and Allen should have gotten a point after that week, too. Weirdly, I could maybe live with a 79, f they were consistent with his progress, which they are not. Proof positive to that point being Cam’s increase you mentioned above. Rc2, I’ve notice that for the last two years.

You know, because they are absolutely brutal at this! This puts Allen at about 20 or 21 in the league. FYI, Mahomes is a 99. Kap is an 81. WEEK 3 UPDATE TJ Watt, 1 point up in three straight weeks, 89 Calvin Ridley, 3 straight 100 yard games and EA says “One of the next great WRs”, 3 points in three weeks to an 86. Josh Allen, AFC player of the month...no change, 79. Cole Beasley, 1 point up to an 84. Tre White, 1 point drop to a 90 (later on in the video). The comments section below in the YouTube video is starting to get feisty with Allen. Week 4 Update: Provided by a number of you. Thank you: https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/madden-nfl-21/player-ratings Other Bills on the move up, too.

I know, right? since when is losing to a playoff team by 3 embarrassing?! what circumstances in that game prompted “oh my goodness, no, how did they lose that that game to the Bills?” a good team had a lot of yards against them. Not shocking or surprising...Jeepers. -

Repeatedly comments about them getting “embarrassed” against the Bills is...a little much. -

Thank you, Miami, as they pick up the AFC East’s first out of division win after losses by the Jets and Patriots. 😎 -
and no offense to those who might have differing faiths, but yeah, Steve...I absolutely believe these two are in the same back field together, right now. It's one of the first things I thought when I heard the news.
-
I hear ya, Hap, but I so hope that this is the game that the Bills finally drop 35-42 points on somebody, and it is not impossible against a good defense. I know, I know, master of the obvious here and we all feel that way, but I certainly would sacrifice some ball control for some extra points. Don't leave points on the field, guys. get'em all...all that you can.

Side note: Boy, if 2020 has shown us anything it is that New York City...really doesn't have a clue on much of anything (8/21). https://nypost.com/2020/08/21/josh-allen-feels-destined-to-be-a-fantasy-football-bust-in-2020/ "Though, we also still aren’t thrilled with his receiving corps, despite adding Stefon Diggs this season. And we worry Allen is primed for a decline in rushing TDs. He had eight and nine in consecutive years. Even the best rushing QBs have trouble stringing together eight-TD seasons. Cam Newton, the best comparison for Allen, has done it just once – his first two years (14 and eight). He has topped eight rushing TDs just once since. Dak Prescott had six in three straight seasons before declining to three last year." "...So without confidence Allen can post huge fantasy numbers with his arm, and with history telling us continued production on the ground at his current pace is a rarity, we do not want to spend a sixth- or seventh-round pick on Allen. Especially when other options like Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady are still on the board."
-
Of the four QBs taken in the first round in the 2004 draft the top three have thrown for a total of 175,956 yards for a 58,652 yard average for their careers. The 4th QB, JP Losman, threw for 6,271 yards in his career and was traded up for by an NFL team, which if that team hadn’t done that they could have gotten Aaron Rodgers in their spot in 2005. Long story short, thank you so far, Josh Allen, and I love you Brandon Beane...sweet goodness you can’t imagine how much.
