  1. 85 just plain catches the stupidest balls. I will guaranty you that at some point while here Morris will catch a ball that first hits the back side of his head. Go Bills!
  2. I don’t mean this sarcastically and I don’t mean any disrespect, but I honestly thought he passed awhile ago, for some reason about ten years or so. This makes this a double shame as I liked him quite a bit growing up for both USC and the Rams and also felt like an opportunity was missed to appreciate the guy while he was here when I already thought he was gone. One of the last of the old coaches of college ball.
  3. Well said, John. Also, I am not going to bet the farm on this, but I believe that Marv Levy is one of the few (if not the only) Coach who had a winning record against Shula for coaches who have faced each other at least 15 times. Additionally, his last game as a Coach was a loss to the Bills. Good times. However, I will give credit it where it was due and earned...I believe Coach Shula was a good man, both in football and in life. Go Bills!
  4. Ed, your Dolphin hatred is deep. As a Bills fan it is kind of a turn on. I believe I can even smell your manly musk through the speakers of my computer, and I must profess a willingness to follow you to the four corners of hell carrying a six pack if you so desire. Well done, Sir. Well done indeed. Go Bill!
  5. Well said, HUDs. I am still also holding out hope for 14-3, or a possible table run if we are able to get some bounces our way and get guys back for Detroit.
  6. …that as much as the Bills have owned the Dolphins franchise recently and how since the end of the 70s streak Buffalo is 56-39 against them the ‘72 Dolphins (and their fans) last real hope this year to drink Champaign (Patriot regular season aside) is to cheer for the Bills. Go Bills* (* normally it’s me, now it’s them)
  7. He's not gonna play. If he plays I swear I'll eat two slices of New York style thin crust pizza with pepperoni, fresh out of the oven live on YouTube with a medium Pepsi Zero light ice and in a comfortable chair in front of a large screen tv.* (* I don't like to get crazy with my bets)
  8. My goodness what we dealt with in 2019 with the last Jets team that was The Team (on paper). it’s a sin what the football hierarchy did to us with the Jests this year. They were a terrible team that had proved absolutely nothing for years with a geriatric QB and a couple of names, but yet they get treated like Super Bowl contenders. No, Mitch Greenberg, this was not the biggest letdown in football history…they just never were that good.
  9. Bibles of truth and knowledge spread there, Dr. PJax! The last of which was the Bills! Thank you for sharing, all the way around. i am one of the few who is mad at Poyer because of what it might cost us. I believe even if we punted we still would have won in OT and I’ll take the record field goal and the win. Go Bills!
  10. Above and beyond that, PJax (no disrespect, but unless medical I’m not really in to calling you Dr. 😁) we are also obviously concerned because we may really, really… …really need him for the next few weeks.
  11. You, Sir (well and properly earned title), know exactly where to hit them, especially with me. If you haven’t run your marathon yet (or even if you have) please go to the new Cake Bake Shop Bakery shop on the boardwalk. Expensive, yes, but I need someone I wholly trust to give me the real deets! …to be clear…maybe you go after the race. Go Bills! Go HUDs!
  12. Not too early at all, Warrior. I do think at least one of the Bucs or Broncos will take KC. Yes, KC is the back to back SB champion, but they have a bit of 2023 Eagles stink on them, too. The very best I believe we can hope for is 14-3. I just don’t think we can roll in to Detroit and win. Additionally, LA is officially off of the easy list and SF is getting healthier. However, make no doubt about I truly believe if they get to 14-3, including a win agains the chiefs, it should be enough to do it with tie breakers as I see the chiefs at 14-3, as well. Go Bills!
  13. Agreed. Additionally, or alternatively Yatta, can you imagine the Bills playing the chiefs in 3 weeks and, given 1 Pitt loss from here to there, it is for the Conference top spot in Week 11?! All as it should be. CBS executives have to be kneeling down to whatever deity they worship hoping for this. Go Bills!
  14. BTW, Broncos at Ravens in what is still an important AFC game for us, so you can be damn sure that out of the blue Sean Peyton will bench Bo Nix in favor of Zach Wilson for no reason whatsoever. …possibly also go for it on 4th and 5 from his own 10 and up by 3.
  15. Flowers in meadow Children laughing during play phins suck hard…so hard.
  16. He was maybe on his way to his fifth straight 100 reception season. In this day and age of football it is still hard to wrap my head around that. Here’s hoping he can get to 1,000 receptions before he is done.
  17. if it wasn’t for the Herculanianly stupid start of Richardson by Indy in what was a must win game for them the Texans would now be in second place in the division. Still can’t believe they did that.
  18. dammit. ...dammit. God speed. John. Blessing and prayers to his family. ...that includes us...and we are lucky to say that.
  19. Holy mackerel, US Egg, this is BAF. Absolutely terrible, but props, brother.
  20. Utterly and completely no proof of this, eball, and not very cool of you to say. The fact that after going there he had extra money, and around lunch time, and their money (specifically lunch) was missing is purely circumstantial. Go Bills!
  21. Agreed and obviously I am jazzed by the fact of him technically being a healthy scratch these last 4 weeks so he comes back fully ready, but I would still limit his snaps. At home, against Miami is a good game for him to get reacclimated to the way he digs and drives to the QB.
  22. They are adequate players. However, given the level of where this team was and is...yeah, you just needed to strengthen at the position. Related to improvements (master of the obvious here), I think there is a chance that 2 out of three Buffalo WRs (Cooper, Shakir and Coleman) go over 60 receptions this year (keeping in mind some of Cooper's are coming while with Cleveland). If that happens that means our #2 WR will have 60 plus grabs for the first time since 2021, and it would be the first time since then that a Bills #2 WR had even more than 50. Just always improve where and when you can.
  23. This isn't a knock on Gabe. Love him, glad he got money and wish the best for him, honestly. A Yeoman effort type guy. I just never thought he was a true 2. What I am speaking to now is the actual numbers. His best season as a Bill was in 2022. He had 48 grabs for 836 yards and 7 TDs. Coleman may end up being the Number 1 this season when all is said and done, but I believe he was brought in initially to be the Number 2. All that being said, do you think he hits Gabe's '22 mark this season? I kind of think he does easily. 27 receptions, for 440 yards and 4 more TDs? Would be such a good rookie season for him, but would also love to see him closer to 60. Go Bills.
  24. Especially, Mike, considering we got so screwed by Indy. Huge game for the division and the season so by all means lets roll Anthony back in there. 🙄 Watched him throw that interception just before half in the shadow of his own goal post, AND falling to 2-15 at that point on the day. It's like wanting to scream and having no mouth.
  25. The Bills didn't call theirs Hail Mary. It was Big Ben. Not joking.
