Matt Hasselbeck on QB “intangibles” and Josh...
dollars 2 donuts replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As I live and breath, Alpha, the drought ends in the aughts with Lewis. Edit: @Alphadawg7 and please, Alpha, the thumbs up was also for your great comments on Breeze and Rivers. A part of me back then was like, "yeah, but i still can't believe they are letting him go." -
Matt Hasselbeck on QB “intangibles” and Josh...

Alpha, you make a point that I have thought about before and awhile ago and I absolutely don't understand why this doesn't come up as a discussion more in sports, and sports talk circles. More often than not there are probably more articles about, "Buffalo whiffed on not taking Mahomes" than there are about the above. Then again, let's call it like it is or was as there were more commentators saying that the Buffalo Bills might be a racist organization for not hiring a minority coach in the early aughts. Even though Donahoe wanted to hire Marvin Lewis so badly, but the family didn't want to come to Buffalo. (I wanted Marvin Lewis as coach, too). Meanwhile around the same time the Cowboys hire Bill Parcels with little indication of proof of adherence to the Rooney Rule * and nobody...NOBODY said a peep about it. ...sorry, this has just always bugged me. (* later we were "told" that two minority candidates of limited real significant opportunity to actually get the job were quickly interviewed) -

Yolo from the first game, from the very first game watching him in the pros it just plain looked like "he has it" even if "it" wasn't perfect or didn't result in a win. Such good stuff. I never thought of thinking about it the way Hasselback is suggesting, with respect to how other teams might view him. Again, just good, good stuff. -
RIP WR Titus Davis (only 27)
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am so sorry for the Davis family, and all of us who have been so viciously effected by cancer. ...which is likely all of us. RIP, young man. Enjoy the green fields and don't lose the ball in the sun. -
As a Bills fan it is difficult to put into words my feelings over what has been accomplished over the last 3 days for Oshei's. Pride isn't a big enough word. I donated a simple small amount and in 2020...I mean, those simple dollars just makes me feel so good, as I am sure it has for the rest of you (and if you are unable to donate that is OK, with the hope that you just keep this spirit in your heart and pay it forward in whatever way you can). It feels like, collectively, we're showing appreciation and beating back the monster that is a bad year. Of course this is great and I don't want it to end. I cry when I think of the pain and the hurt when any children are suffering, especially as a parent...and I honestly cry over seeing all of your "hearts grow three sizes these days". However, Mrs. Donuts reminded me that as wonderful as this is there are so very many charities out there that are hurting and whose donations are way down. Whether it be to COVID itself or the ancillary effect of it being all the jobs lost and people just being unable to contribute like the once could...it doesn't matter...many good organizations and good people out there are hurting. I AM NOT ASKING FOR A SINGLE DIME FOR ANY CHARITABLE CAUSE IN THIS THREAD. I AM NOT STARTING SOMETHING NEW HEREIN. Other than I am just asking the greatest fan base on this planet whose hearts are so big and who have given so much lately...who have maybe given even more than what they are truly able to give...take a gentle look around. If you see a worthy group you can help, and are able to contribute, no pressure on you, but it would be wonderful if you could again find it in your hearts to help. These feelings. These causes. They live. They really do. Bless all Bills fans (and some of the non-Bills fans 😉) and all these good causes, everywhere. Thank you Mods for allowing me this brief time.

Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course the family can do whatever is in their best interest and Godbless them. However, wouldn't you just do it during the bye week, when your son/grandson could really be there? I have seen funerals where they have waited a couple of weeks for family to be able to come in to town. -
This is fairly big. They aren't facing your father's Bengals this weekend, either. Obviously they will let him play, but man,...no in person practice at all.

I agree and it would help us attract players in the future, but very respectfully and to be sure...everyone here knows that a dome will not be ready by the Chargers game, right? There seems to be a lot of present tense conversation going on here and if greenlit right now I am not sure a stadium would even be ready by the 2023 season...I mean, maybe, but still

Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
dollars 2 donuts replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nuch, man, it was a good game. Honestly, in my sole and humble opinion nobody can compare to my satisfaction the four major sports. Football has just plain been better to watch than the others. Cowboys/ Steelers yesterday, are you kidding me?! One team was 2-6 and was still balling with their third string qb (shoutout to Gale) on the last play of the game. -
Josh Allen now 60% CAREER completion percentage.
dollars 2 donuts replied to BidsJr's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, I'm sorry, Bids, but it is a proven fact you can't improve accuracy. Plus accuracy and completion percentage are the exact same thing and the tail of the tape is the same...it is not humanly possible to improve either. Although I could be wrong as I haven't started my classes yet. Me and my buddy Jamal Adams just enrolled at the Jalen Ramsey School of "Maybe You Should Shut The F*** up About Dissing Josh Allen". ...it's a zoom course so we will be safe.- 42 replies

Tua Tagovailoa - Future of Miami?
dollars 2 donuts replied to BillsM@fia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HIFQ, great point, but you are preaching to the choir. You are talking to a guy who posted here during the summer that the Dolphins would win no less than 7 or 8 games and would finish second in the division and got laughed at. I also stated a few weeks ago that the division would be decided on the final game of the season and as much as I don’t like that I am not changing that opinion now. -

This one hurts, darn it. Turns next weekend into a kind of must win for the Bills. Fine. So be it. Go Bills! -
Have you lost Confidence in the Bills ?
dollars 2 donuts replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. if we upset Seattle that is a big step and it could right the ship (from the CURRENT team that can’t score 30 in a month on offense and from a defense that would have problems stopping Jessica Tandy), but they have to win. I love this team and I want them to be great. They are not. I expect the 6-2 “they are what their record says they are” to turn into “they are” 9-7 by the end of the season which may or may not win the division. IF they win the division they will be one and done. I hate that this is the way I feel, but the thing is this is not panic...because this is the the team that I think it is.
