  2. I agree and it would help us attract players in the future, but very respectfully and to be sure...everyone here knows that a dome will not be ready by the Chargers game, right? There seems to be a lot of present tense conversation going on here and if greenlit right now I am not sure a stadium would even be ready by the 2023 season...I mean, maybe, but still
  3. Nuch, man, it was a good game. Honestly, in my sole and humble opinion nobody can compare to my satisfaction the four major sports. Football has just plain been better to watch than the others. Cowboys/ Steelers yesterday, are you kidding me?! One team was 2-6 and was still balling with their third string qb (shoutout to Gale) on the last play of the game.
  4. This simply cannot be a real article written by a human being who walks upright and lives on this plane of existence.
  5. Unbelievable... ...Josh Allen's stats in the five games he has played without the brace are 136 of 186, a 73.11 completion percentage, for 1,741 yards (348 yards per game), with 15 tds, 1 interception, and a passer rating of 126.66.
  6. No, I'm sorry, Bids, but it is a proven fact you can't improve accuracy. Plus accuracy and completion percentage are the exact same thing and the tail of the tape is the same...it is not humanly possible to improve either. Although I could be wrong as I haven't started my classes yet. Me and my buddy Jamal Adams just enrolled at the Jalen Ramsey School of "Maybe You Should Shut The F*** up About Dissing Josh Allen". ...it's a zoom course so we will be safe.
  7. Going back to his turning point last year, in the last 21 games he has started and finished Josh Allen is: 433-691 (62.6% completion) 36 TD passes 7 Interceptions 12 rushing tds 1 receiving td 14-7 W/L record ...49 TDs in 21 games is crazy.
  8. HIFQ, great point, but you are preaching to the choir. You are talking to a guy who posted here during the summer that the Dolphins would win no less than 7 or 8 games and would finish second in the division and got laughed at. I also stated a few weeks ago that the division would be decided on the final game of the season and as much as I don’t like that I am not changing that opinion now.
  9. This one hurts, darn it. Turns next weekend into a kind of must win for the Bills. Fine. So be it. Go Bills!
  10. I mean, how many tds for him this year, total? 24 (19 passing, 5 rushing)? @TroutDog He needs 11 tds in 7 games to score more tds than any player in the 61 year history of this team. crazy.
  11. Yes. if we upset Seattle that is a big step and it could right the ship (from the CURRENT team that can’t score 30 in a month on offense and from a defense that would have problems stopping Jessica Tandy), but they have to win. I love this team and I want them to be great. They are not. I expect the 6-2 “they are what their record says they are” to turn into “they are” 9-7 by the end of the season which may or may not win the division. IF they win the division they will be one and done. I hate that this is the way I feel, but the thing is this is not panic...because this is the the team that I think it is.
  12. 👍 and Doc, please if I seemed rude (I hope I wasn’t), it was just a bad week of work and I was sour. I really try not to let any of that stuff seep into any online stuff.
  13. @YoloinOhio Doc, please forgive me, I am not taking this out on you, because I dig you, it's just I feel like there is a communication breakdown with this, and I will put the blame on me. So...I know it's way too early and I agree on the Jets finishing last. Here's the thing for everybody, we are not talking about right now...one game into a kids career. The draft isn't this week, and we don't know for sure who is going to finish in last place. Everything is pre-supposed on a) if Tua shows little or middling progress, and b) if the opportunity is there to get Lawrence. I for one would not sit on a player of Lawrence's calibur in comparison to Tua. I think he is way better. The Cardinals in a similar situation decided it was worth it to pick another QB. I think they made the right move. If it arose for Miami and I were there I wouldn't blink at making the same move. I wouldn't see what I could get in exchange for what could be strongly possible Andrew Luck or better player.
  14. Agreed, but the point being where they were right now and the outside possibility, however remote, that the biggest prize in the QB derby, could potentially be available to Miami. The hypothetical being what if they ended up with the number one as they have houston's...would they consider Trevor Lawrence or just pass him up?
  15. You are coming dangerously close to questioning Beane and McD on this...unfortunately, you are close to spot on and many of us agree with this as it played out in real time during the offseason.
  16. Yes, and let's be clear as we all know...ONLY IF THEY HAVE THE FIRST PICK. Man, brother, I think the jets are going to hang on to a winless season like grim death. I can't imagine anything being more important to that organization right now.
  17. I hear you, but I don't play on the team so it's what I do...especially when I don't think our team is that good right now.
  18. Miami has Houston's first pick and Houston has 1 win. I'm sorry, I thought we all knew this. I should have mentioned it earlier. Edit: If the jaguars beat Houston then the Texans will be tied for having the 2nd pick overall.
  19. I hear you...but please don't shoot the messenger. I am telling you only what I heard this morning from Merril Hodge. I haven't expressed an opinion yet. To that point, I worry he will be very good, and would hope that he isn't. However, if they have a shot at lawrence...
  20. He talked about the game, but he was primarily talking about what he saw from him in college.
  21. Yolo, I agree, but man I am not saying Merril Hodge is an authority, but on NFL Radio this morning he was hard on Tua and his future...can't make the out throws...makes poor decisions...not the strongest arm...and may be only an adequate pro. Surprisingly so. They usually go easy on first time rookies.
  22. Kwai, I though I read a couple of years ago that, yes, of course you don't want a number of concussions, but that it is not the number of concussions as much as it is not getting rushed back. Side note, this was interesting pertaining hits to the head and not concussions. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2018/01/18/a-new-study-shows-that-hits-to-the-head-not-concussions-cause-cte/ "Well, duh, but still they are always going to be hitting their heads." Yeah, the thing is I still think they can change this in the game on how they approach blocking...face and shoulders first.
  23. literally, SC, the game plan has to be one of points. What are we doing? Well, whatever it is, it has to result in 35 or more points. Yes, Brown back on line and not only 300 yards passing, but more importantly 3-4 tds from Josh. Is Brown up to full speed? Unlikely...I wish he was, though.
  24. The problem isn't as much that he is injured, that is bad enough. The real problem is we have no answer for his injury. It is literally yardage vampire time for opposing offenses. Easy Money. Get Out of Jail Free card. Take What You Want But Eat What You Take. ...it's just so much BS. It's not just that I don't see us winning this weekend, it is honestly I don't know how we can win. This sucks.
  25. Virgil, even if he wasn't the same RW we see today this is spot on. He could have played behind Fitzy for a year, or less than a year and low and behold, all things being equal those WR he would have had in 2013-2015. I'll say this again asI always do...as the Lord above as my witness I was so thinking tat when we traded up in the third we were going to get WIlson. ...besides us who on this planet valued TJ Graham over RW? I saw Wilson play in Wisc...he just really seemed to be a nice, quality package at the position.
