Could John Brown be Released Next Off-Season?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Halloween Land's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very respectfully, ladies and gentlemen, we are trying to win a Super Bowl here. Maybe even a second one would be nice next year. I say all good hands on deck. Sometimes special talent costs money. I just don't want to pay for unspecial talent (Murphy...MURPHY, come on buddy, don't be that way. Don't get up and leave. It's just that you know I am right.) Hell, I would possibly even give my left nut if there was a way we could get Star back for this team in the playoffs to be just a little more stout in the middle. -
Diggs proves the trade skeptics wrong

Stanky I don't know about your physical skills, but I do know mine and I swear to you that when I watch him on some plays he makes other professionals whose job it is to cover him look like me in trying to do it. It's like slow motion. It's like they are standing still and maybe they have never stepped on a football field before that play. Really. Really it is. For those of you who don't already know what we are talking about, go look at some of the tape. -
Diggs proves the trade skeptics wrong

... thinking... ...OK, I am comfortable now in saying this. This is no slur to anybody else, but I am more than 50 years old and I have been watching football my entire life. Stefon Diggs is the greatest receiver I have ever seen...at getting open. -
Royale, I respect your opinion. However, that likely means we finish 4th in the AFC and the Browns don't win the division and finish 5th. I really don't want the Titans passing us as it turns my stomach, and I hope they lose to GB in week 16 which would give us a 1 game buffer...12-4 and third in the Conference is a liveable "take" from me. However, and in accordance with my thread about the #2 spot, I am still hoping for 13-3. As stated in that thread if the Bills and Browns run the table and the Browns win the division as long as we don't have a third division leader tie at 13-3 (I know, crazy) then the Bills beat the Browns on Conference record (10-2 to 9-3), and this would give us #2, barring a comical collapse by the Chiefs. If anyone thinks that the Titans won't pass us (I hope that is the case) then I doubt there is anyway we play the browns as they are either going to win the division or be the best wild card team. Nobody is going to pass them in the WC with their schedule. ...it would be a hell of game, though, brother!

It would be great to beat them in a Super Bowl, but yeah, the Packers-Bills would be epic. Side note, and please know I am absolutely not trying to throw shade because I like this team and QB...but I would be "meh" if we play the Saints. Look, I am thrilled if we make the Super Bowl and I want us to win, and I think we can beat them and they are the best team in the NFC, but...I don't know...they just don't stir anything in me.

The absolutely most important thing that happened was that we gained an extra game on the top seed in the conference and we play them next, so we have an opportunity to get two games closer. ...Absolutely, positively, resolutely fine with Washington picking them off. Would anyone else rather have us still be 2 games back should we win on Sunday? Otherwise, who's gonna beat them? You, @teef? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? The Bills have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom...ah you know where this is going. 🤣

BTW, am I sick that I now maybe want the Pats to be 8-6 when we play them?! Seriously, don't you really want to simply crush their playoff dreams, on their home field, while winning the division (should the Bills be in that spot, no matter what, if they get there and they are 11-3), all in one swoop?! If not, well...I'll leave it up to the words of the late, great John Colicos as Koloth in Star Trek.

Washington created the opening and the Bills just have to keep it up and walk on through. Get to midnight next Sunday at 10-3, drop the Steelers to 11-2, and get help from somebody. Steelers have games remaining after that of Bengals, Indie and Browns. I would love it to be Indie, but if the division is still in play then, Browns, go right ahead. If Buffalo and Cleveland finish tied at 13-3 the Bills win on conference record (10-2 to 9-3). That Hail Mary...no, let’s more so say that bad third quarter play is maddening enough, especially with that being the Cardinals only win in five weeks. It would be fabulous to make up for it with the #2 spot in the AFC and two guaranteed home playoff games. Go Bills!

Post Game thread Bills @ 49ers
dollars 2 donuts replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills took the Niners 5th overall ranked defense, gently set it down on the ground, dropped their pants and then proceeded to take a great big s*** on it. After which they told the Niners O to go clean it up.- 437 replies

Black Monday is coming (UPDATE: is here!).....
dollars 2 donuts replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does ESPN still have McDermott on the hot seat, or are they just so inconsequential right now that it just doesn’t matter? -
That was the first thing i thought and you were the first person I was going to comment to about how bad this really is. and it is...this is terrible. Bad enough only getting to 6-0 or 7-0 before the bowl game. I would have loved to see Jared light it up for 2 more regular season games. EDIT: Ohio University jerks.

love it! Btw, if you were serious about TP you might know her best as Ben Stiller’s wife in the Meet The F**kers movie. I know it is not technically a swear word, but I didn’t want to take my chances.

HUDS. HUDS! Please tell me you are joking? This is the poor man’s holy grail in parenthesis, all lower case of football movies...BUT A MUST FOR BILLS FANS. The chamber of commerce hands Betamax versions of this to anyone who watches a Bills game. Teri Polo is going to be at the Holiday Inn in Cheektowaga this very day to sign copies of this movie, as well as copies of the Playboy magazine she was in, from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm. There will be a kettle of borscht, first come, first serve.

Look...it's coming. The sooner we all come to grips with it the better we will be able to handle and process it. "Isolation Island" Fromm is going to be throwing to TJ Graham in the AFC Divisional Round Playoffs, so just deal with it.

Milano and Dodson designated to return from IR

MGK, talking me off of the ledge, as usual...and with the great story! 🤣 As Brian "Paul Rudd" Fontana would say, "60% of the time it works...ALL the time!" -

Guys, I agree completely and I am hoping for this, but is this going to be another one of those Billsy roster things where they practice all week, feel great, we have the space for them and then they don't get activated Saturday afternoon? Because call me a whacky Bills fan, but I am tired of watching other teams we play get healthy right before they play us (looking at you Cards, Chargers and now SF...in the case of the Cards missing DBs before Miami, but getting them back for us), all the while expecting us to get healthy and then boom...we're...sort of...not. -
What is a successful season for the 2020 Bills?
dollars 2 donuts replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You, Sir, are a steely eyed missile man who knows what's important. Long live HUDS!* (* this message paid for by the Committee That Thinks HUDS Is An Outstanding Poster On This Board. No animals were harmed in procuring the superlative statements above.) -
For f*** sake this is the best Bills season that I can’t take anymore. If for no other reason coming back from a bye seemingly more injured than you were before it.

The End of the Lamar Jackson Era
dollars 2 donuts replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
59 passing, 15 rushing for Jackson, including his two playoff games. 51 passing, 21 rushing and 2 receiving for Allen, including his one playoff game. Everything sort of balances in the wash, because Josh has started more games (37-32) than Jackson (that's surprising, too), but Jackson has played in more games than Allen (41-38).
