  1. Max Rebo, but likely I am probably the only one around here who had him on their board at 30.
  2. Virgil...honest to goodness...I would not have believed you for one second.
  3. For F*** sake, you guys, please...like the AFC needs another good QB. WTH is wrong with the NFC?!!!!!
  4. BEANE, GET'ER DON...frick, that's right, we have our guy. ...man, I still having problems getting used to that.
  5. how on this great green Earth has Rogers never been on the cover?
  6. My goodness I did love the heck out of Burrows his rookie year before he got hurt and briefly forgot he was a Bengal until this video. This conference is ridiculous when it comes to the quality of QB talent. ...ridiculous.
  7. He came back after two years from almost losing his leg and helped lead a bad team to the playoffs. Jeepers, that stuff just writes itself like a fairy tale. Congrats and enjoy, Alex. One of your contemporaries from '05 will take it over for a little while.
  8. My second Pfizer was Saturday, HUDS. Mine was just arm soreness, although my wife got sick (but she's been sick of me since we got married! *Ba-dum-bump!*) Here's hoping that is it for you and you get over that stuff quickly.
  9. I don’t think I’ve posted here once before right now...maybe...I can’t remember.
  10. I've said this for awhile and I know I am in the minority, but there should be games labor day weekend and it should be the NFL's official kick off Holiday weekend. YES, I KNOW...FAMILY PARTIES. I HAVE A FAMILY, TOO! ...but the first weekend, with no work the next day...glorious. Simply glorious.
  11. Stop this. Stop this right now.
  12. or Terry Miller. 1,000 yard rookie seasons and I am not even sure he had a thousand yards the rest of his career combined. I could be wrong but it just seems like it.
  13. It was a smile or a trophy from me, teef, but you honestly deserved both!
  14. Oh, and here's one.
  15. Rest...you've won the internet today, Sir. Savor the flavor, HUDS, because it is fleeting, but still...well done.
  16. Dear 1ManRaid, I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe it's best if you keep your opinion to yourself. Respectfully, Thurman Thomas 1988 2nd Round Pick 🤣
  17. @teef Can't we give them a 5th and teef? I mean, I love the guy, but seriously, I'd be willing to part with him. 🤣 🖖
  18. Agree, but man, Kelly, we've been in no man's land for so long I'd take decent, just to get us to the show.
  19. Love it, McD, love it. Thank you for the add. Oh, and honestly, he did have the dropsies and he was a first round pick (Alabama?...Texas? Oklahoma?!, I can't remember) that could have been better, BUT I always liked Rubes! EDIT: Okie St, 1974, 18th pick overall.
  20. Just aside and to let some know that he really was decent, in 93-94 over 32 games Big Pete caught 117 passes for 1,037 yards and 9 TDs. I could be wrong, but I believe it is the most successful two years of receiving by a Bills' TE in their 60 plus year history. I honestly could live with 59 receptions, for 518 yards and 5 tds from a single TE next year, let alone that as a position I believe they caught around 40 balls this year (albeit 8 TDs).
  21. Couldn't agree more, HUDS. Heck, I am not even the most likable person in the world. Handsome, dashing, funny, charming, athletic, and poetic...every reason in the world to dislike me. ...but I am not a cad and I can't seem to wrap my head around cheering for this guy. I am a culinary genius, as well, but I digress.
  22. Honestly, it has gotten silly recently, but since the kicking team can't get a running start, I would like to see an onside kick rule change wherein THE RECEIVING TEAM CAN'T JUMP THE TEN YARDS. If your feet are just past the ten yards, then fine for you to jump or hope on the ball when it gets close. Caveat: you can go past the 10 yards mark if you are blocking, but you cannot go after the ball.
  23. Of course you are dealing with an A.I. and of course twiddling your thumbs is not the same as being on real or fake grass and doing the moves. However, what it can give you is repetition and seeing how these plays unfold and what is going on. "...but you have game and practice video for that." Yeah, but you can't control any aspect of that, other than forwards or reverse. All these guys play it and they have had an understanding of it since they were knee bitters. It is just a game, but I can see where to at least some degree it can be a tool. It's effectiveness is certainly up for debate. I guess it depends on how much you think you can get out of it. Ballet moves are vastly different from football, and also a vastly different vocation than the game. However, that's used to assist players in their movement and strength coordination. If Madden can add something to today's players with respect to their perception and repetition, then more power to them and the game.
  24. Dude...they should pull the trigger then. Did not know that and thank you. I would do it, wouldn’t you? I’m thinking yes. edit: other than cap space not fun times for the Pats, huh.
  25. Muchly. It is either going to be an unheard of three number ones that they are asking or two number ones, multiple other GOOD picks and a little bit of current living beef in the league. Not a turnover machine with potential, the number 2 and some stuff.
