  1. Agreed with this, too. However, and I am not trying to make a direct comparison as that would be crazy, but just making a point...The Chargers WANTED to start Taylor over Herbert. ...there's experience, yes, but sometimes in sports you just go with the hot hand. Hopefully, they'll use both.
  2. I hear you, BB-ATL, but that's not what I mean. I said non-special teamer. Go one extra man at RB. I am saying lose someone somewhere else on the roster.
  3. I know this is crazy talk, and please know also that I am not being sarcastic when I say this, but couldn't both Yeldon and WIlliams play? Are we so desperate at other positions that the last man in whatever group (non-special teamer) who would normal suit up couldn't just sit? I want Williams the runner...badly. I want Yeldon everything else.
  4. Actually, BR, I believe the Pats took Gronkowski AFTER we took Torrell Troup in the second round of the 2010 draft. EDIT: Yep http://www.mynfldraft.com/2010/round2/
  5. Want to be world champions? Then just plain beat everyone they put in front of you. We don’t have to play them...they have to play us.
  6. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/259199752_Receivers_in_American_football_use_a_constant_optical_projection_plane_angle_to_pursue_and_catch_thrown_footballs side note: research done by a friend of mine. Why you can trust it? Because he was part of a group a number of years ago that rewrote, or rather, disproved an almost 90 year old theory on human tracking of moving objects...namely baseballs.
  7. I’ll take that Sulli! 👍 it would be nice in the future.
  8. I’ll say what I said about a month ago...I have been watching football for close to 50 years and Stefon Diggs is the best wide receiver I have ever seen at getting open. with no further caveats with stating that.
  9. i don’t think that is a high hurdle to overcome to make things right, the networks can work it out. Especially, considering that I am now watching an NFC playoff game on AFC cbs. yes, I know, but there is a singular WC game and multiple teams get the benefit...actually 75% of the playoff teams in each league. The only team disadvantaged is the WC team, and they are just lucky to be there. The benefit is not reserved for the top seed. Btw, out of curiosity, do you guys just hate the fairness of the idea?
  10. I was going to post about the timing of the games. I loved the 1 pm start yesterday and that was fine, but honestly going forward if I were in charge next week the two conference games would be played on the same day as not to give an advantage for the following weeks championship game. so, if Pitt wins (just to make it clear), Saturday (or Sunday’s) games would be Pitt at Buffalo and Baltimore at KC. If that was the Saturday game then the two nfc games would be on Sunday. Both championship games would be on Sunday as that wouldn’t make a difference. but yeah, I think the breakdown in doing it above is fair. Additionally, put me under the category of NOBODY getting a bye. your advantage in being first is that you are home all the way through and you play the worst opponent each time. no other major pro sports league gives their top teams a pass in the playoffs and neither should the nfl.
  11. It is almost embarrassing to think of how good and deep our receivers are. ...until you start to take a look at how good and deep our practice squad RBs are! 😆 GO BILLS!
  12. Dear Darius Leonard, I AM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU, BROTHER. F*** THOSE M***** F****** BILLS!!!! Respectfully, Josh Rosen, QB* Playoff Bound Tampa Bay Buccaneers (* - Practice Squad QB or Pup Team QB, or Assistant to the Assistant Starting QB)
  13. The Wanda Traussmann School of Beauty Stadium at John Valby Field Don't want any of you claiming this as your own when it goes hard later this month.
  14. He was 1 Houdini Shoulder Harness and 1 Hail Murray away from that.
  15. Yeah, but can you trust him? I mean, I am not sure how many of you are aware of this, but this kid was a trainwreck his first two seasons. One of the worst completion percentages, a stat impossible to repair, and you could never really count on him in clutch situations, other than leading the league in fourth QB comebacks in 2019. ...and...I mean, I hate to be "that guy"...but have you SEEN some of the people that root for this kid? I'm just not sold yet.
  16. So very well said, as usual for you, Dear Mr. HUDS! Can you imagine, though? I mean really? Not to stick with the Christmas tie ins, but being either the Ghost of Christmas Future or Clarence from It's A Wonderful Life and having 24 year old Dan Marino look at you with a blank expression and saying, "What? No...no-no. I am going to go back many times. I am going to have a long Super Bowl career!" "No, Danny my boy. You are going to be the old maid. A great one, but an old maid, nonetheless."
  17. I hate to be "that guy", but I'd rather be fired and get my money! 🤣
  18. Just a simple point here. The only thing is these QBs were (and are still) considered the very best this league has to offer at the times that they made their last Super Bowl appearances and they did so with visions of sugar plumbs dancing in every commentators head of how many times they would be back and how many Super Bowls they would win. This doesn't influence how i think of them. It just makes me think that past performance is not indicative of future Championships. I am not thinking about the future of the Bills, at all. I am not thinking about the coordinators. I am not thinking about Josh's contract. I am not thinking about who we will be able to keep or who we will have to let go. You strike while the iron is hot. It is absolutely everything about right now because I don't know about, and I don't really care about, tomorrow. As a beloved Buffalo Bill once said, "Our Super Bowl is the Super Bowl." (it may have been Gary Marangi 😉) Please capitalize on this moment, gentlemen, because right not it is obviously all we have. GO BILLS!
  19. Freddie, thank you, brother. No excuses on my end. I am so freaking lazy I could have just looked it up. Side note: I was in attendance we he gave that joke in Buffalo. I forget at which club. ...man how the years go by.
  20. To paraphrase Bobcat Goldwait (spelling) I’m more worried about being carried away by army ants than I am about losing to Indy. ...still have to play hard, though.
  21. Colts Board please meet the Dolphins Board. Dolphins Board, Colts Board. Chat amongst yourselves and get the DL. We are a little busy right now.
  22. Honestly, there just simply seems to be nothing more anathema to this team than losing. The idea of even coming close to them losing again is something, to a man, that if I were to bring it up in the locker room with them 60 guys in that room would start clenching their fists...very tightly. This is a different Bills team. ...get used to different.
  23. Wiz, honestly, I can play most of it on guitar. ...maybe we could change it up just a bit? and also maybe because what he does to other teams’ defenses we could call him The Mangolorian?
  24. If they played the Mandalorian theme when they came out of the tunnel, with Allen leading the way, I would honestly lose my s***.
  25. Sure, and I don't disagree. However, let's also be careful of what we wish for. The Steelers are the team we have scored the fewest points against going back the last two months, plus 7 of those were due to a defensive TD.
