  1. Please, you all know my stand by position by now when news like this comes out. Meaning I am about to punch myself in the nuts, repeatedly and as hard as I can, until I pass out or throw up. ...then I might eat cake.
  2. OK. I mean if anyone is going to tell it like it is on this subject it has to be a Beasley.
  3. "Hard to watch" is a term we are seeing too much of today, but it doesn't go that far as a descriptor, even though we all know what it means. In this instance, for me, it is short hand for this video making me feel... Anger Helplessness Sadness Concern Hope-soured (hopeless is a very all encompassing difficult word for me. I always like to think there is hope)
  4. I absolutely wouldn't mind keeping Bease. Also, a good number of you here I would feel comfortable sending to message board free agency. 😘
  5. Hold my beer. 🤣 Yeah, I hear you. Although that SF game for them got more interesting.
  6. Well, what do you think! (this should probably die, but, yeah it could go on for a bit, as a bit)
  7. If we want home field advantage we better.
  8. I very respectfully disagree, Sammy, if for no other reason than it is traditionally an important measure stick for a QB and for being MVP. Right now he is tied for sixth in the NFL in TD passes with 19, and the league leader and the guy trailing him have 27 and 25 respectfully. I doubt they or the others will drop off. I just am having difficulty seeing 36TDs, with 6 rushing TDs and a total of 42, and a 13-4 or 12-5 record getting it done compared to others around the league. Especially when he finished second last year with 44 total TDs. He was great yesterday...to win the MVP, the topic of this thread, he needs to be even better than that and for all his remaining games. EDIT: two five baggers (preferably 5-0, but 4-1 works, as well) in the last 8 would go a long way.
  9. Given this screwy season... weirdly arguably technically ...I think we need them to beat the Titans (as I mentioned in the other thread). Let's take care of our business in both games against them, but they could do us a solid by beating the Titans. The Steelers could help us, too, in that respect.
  10. Needs at least 5 td passes every 2 games…20 in the next 8. TD passes. If he scores on the ground, great. But he definitely needs more than 40 through the air. 14-3 would help.
  11. You made me feel better. Honestly. still…I want them again.
  12. WFT is 3-6. Minor point, but just for accuracy. edit: and jags are 2-7.
  13. Love the game, love the effort and I am not overlooking it, but man what a screwy season and what a place we are in. The Titans schedule is almost stupid. Texans @Patriots Jags @Steelers Niners Dolphins @Texans Two teams we don’t want to lose ground to we need to pull out wins, and even that is a tall order. Even with that we only need: Colts - W Saints - W Pats - W Bucs - W Panthers - W Pats - W Falcons - W Jets - W You know what, the heck with it. Fine, we pass them or we don’t. I just absolutely want another shot at them and if it is down there, so be it. I may make that trip. Go Bills.
  14. Fine with them, even more pleased if they think they are good and we still finish above them. I very much could live with them at 11-6 if we finish 13-4 or better.
  15. Thank you for the correction, LaGOAT. If Wawrow said it then my same comment goes to him, regardless of his power to control anything, which thankfully he doesn't. Side note, Pats win and a Bills loss and I believe we are on the outside looking in as Pats would be the division leader and the Bengals would leap frog us for the final wild card spot. Never expected this and hopefully it doesn't come to pass.
  16. It's a bull**** comment by McD. Some might respond with excuses on why he is right and why I should care. To be clear, he is not right and I don't care. If the only thing this line could do is pick its nose and pass block among the elite in this league you could ride Josh to anywhere on this planet, including the next super bowl given the success they had with it last year. They can save the nose picking for after they get there. The committee of 300 passing and 100 or so on the ground from 3 guys running can carry the day, almost every day. But the horses pulling the rig are flailing. I hated getting rid of Teller and I am tired of the beat down I get from bringing it up. They want to turn around some of what is going wrong, then how about not blaming your successes and point instead to YOUR actual mistakes and don't do them again. My buddy was spitting nickels when they didn't take Humphrey over Boogie.
  17. I called this. I hate that I did, but I did.
  18. I went to lunch with my in-laws and then to the craft show. Now no Mitch? I WAS GONE FOR THREE HOURS, WHAT THE F*** DID YOU GUYS DO?!
  19. This should have gotten a laugh from somebody before me in the last 43 minutes. This is hysterical.
  20. i do like the sentiment, MN, but technical that’s not true, per se. They could end up 15-2 and still not get home field advantage. I’m not saying it’s likely, I’m just saying it’s possible. That’s why those two losses, in conference hurt so much. If we don’t win the conference and you say that at the start of the playoffs, I am all aboard. However, we could use just a little help before then.
  21. Man, does everyone sort of know with him without coming out and saying they know?
  22. I could say they can’t help but keep shooting themselves in the foot, but at this stage I believe that may not only be socially irresponsible, but dangerous taunting, as well.
