  1. Yes, but that is college. This is the NFL. We were talking about the NFL. I believe it has a place in College and given what they do. I will be in 100% agreement with you when the next NFL Cheerleader Championships takes place. When they get to the NFL it is not a sport anymore. It is eye candy.
  2. I've said it here before and I'll say it again now...cheerleading is a an archaic nonsense concept that needs to go the way of the dinosaur. That is nothing against these young women. This is against the idea of it in 2022...and much before that, too.
  3. Fixed. I know, I know, rushing to judgment on my part, but when you get the 13th, 14th, 15th alleger...I'm thinking there is something there there. But I know what you meant, BB, just stressing the point.
  4. If I missed where someone specifically referenced how much money he is set to make as a commentator or in other pursuits, then I am sorry. However, he is set to make 14 plus million dollars next year, and 19 million more the year after. If he walks away now he is a HoF...but a HoF that nobody is going to pay if he needed for some reason to comeback at 35 to play. If he enjoys it and they still are paying him what he feels he deserves then there is no reason for him to stop. These guys have only so many years to be able to do this and truly set themselves to not have to worry about anything more for them or their families. ...but when its over it is over.
  5. Education provided by Alpha. Thank you, my friend, I did not know that. In my only defense I didn't know that the gathering was just for Cali/LA artists. I really paid no attention to anything leading up to the SB after...the thing that happened in KC.
  6. You want to add 24 more Grammy noms? Then Missy Elliott should have been there. Annoying that her place in music history from that generation gets pushed to the side.
  7. A lot of us whistling past the graveyard over the season, but honestly...yeah, I believe R96 is unfortunately correct. My thing is I hope Beane and Company realize it and do something about it and not pull a (with all do respect) Polian and Levy and go through 4 Super Bowl years with, for example, an undersized nose tackle. When Theodore "The Slender" came in a couple of years later it changed the prowl of our D for the next half decade.
  8. TH3...I dig it. I hear you. I'm bitter, dude. Ignore me. A side note is important, too, but I won't bore you with it here. An envy thing and it bothers me a bit. I'm sorry. Peace and Go Bills!
  9. You are, respectfully, either young or ignorant or both to the Bills' long history. I know what other teams do. More importantly I know what this team's history is, other teams be damned. ...and reading comprehension is important, because I need you to show me where I said it wasn't possible. I was commenting on that I don't think the window is opening, there are obstacles to overcome, we've seen amazing, record setting performances from the most important position in all of sports, and we didn't get there, so what has to give or what do we need to get over it and can we get it. I have no desire and am not trying to insult you. If the above is an insult to you I am sorry and I don't mean it that way...but don't do it to me just because you have "stunned" disagreement with me. I've been to this rodeo before as fan for over 50 years. That's how I make THIS comment. Facts. Numbers. History. Peace and Go Bills.
  10. No one thinks Indy? Asking for a friend.* (* I like myself)
  11. The Cincinnati Bengals are going to the Super Bowl. Their QB, a guy I loved even going back to last season (and good for them) is in the second year of his rookie deal. Their 2022 cap space is about 56 million dollars, according to Spotrac. The Bills are 1 year away from their QB's (102 TDs in 2 years) deal kicking in. Their 2022 cap space is 1.37 million dollars...over. I love my team, but let's be clear...the window aperture is not holding. This was the year. If not then something special better happen in 2022. EDIT: To be more clear with my comment on the QBs...Allen has given us the two greatest QB seasons in the more than 60 year history of the franchise (and the greatest QB playoff season ever), and it wasn't enough even to get us to the show. ...so what has to either give, or where do we go to get that extra horse power to get us there? Especially with limited "petro" to get it done.
  12. If the rams win the early game the Bills and Chiefs will be playing to be the only team from last to repeat in the conference championship game. Hmmm, I remember that stat about at least one team from the conference championship games the prior year has missed the playoffs for something like 20 straight years. I also remember that, given the choice, a number of pundits picked the Bills to miss the playoffs. Like we need any more motivation, but as a fan I would love it to have the Bills be the only team that returns next week.
  13. As of right now it is almost 3 weeks until this game is played on Sunday. I love the Sunday night prime time spot as I can watch my Bills play and think about what I have to do fo work on Monday. Saturday night playoff football is "elite", if I may be so bold to appropriate the kids' parlance of the day. Go Bills!
  14. Also, Royale, Nashville is a fun town. If many of us can't get in? Oh well, Honky Tonk Row for us! However, before hand I have to make it to Carter's Vintage Guitars! BTW, after the game the first round at The Blue Bird is on me, but only for five of you. I'm not made of money, for crying out loud.
  15. Hyde, lets be absolutely clear and this is not hindsight...I was not on board with the Tellar trade. "But you have to give something up to get the deal." But you didn't have to give up Tellar and I didn't want to give him up. How great was our guard play then that made it seem like a kid who was showing signs of breaking through his rookie year shouldn't be kept around? Trade something else, but realize the potential you have.
  16. Look, it takes a village. Mind you it doesn't take a smart village. Just a a choice few idiots in the decision making department to make others' dreams come true. Browns, you did it for us back in 1980 By taking Tom Cousineau which eventually played a part in the Bills getting Kelly in 1983, and you did it for us again as Royale has referenced above. For this we say thank you. As a gesture of gratitude you can have anything you want on the second shelf or lower, but if you give us your 1st round pick next year in exchange for Bobby Hart you can choose from the third shelf and above...a lot of people are liking the football poppits.
  17. 'Wow...that is completely f***ed up!", said Chad Kelly while sitting on the couch of somebody who he doesn't even know. "It's like they are intentionally trying to piss away the opportunity they've been given.", said the Kitchener Nighthawks 2nd string QB.
  18. “I was right on everything when everybody else was wrong”, is a very popular refrain on this board. It was also a top 50 chart song for The Eagles of Death Metal in 2017.
  19. Amen, Brother HUDS. You can pray for anyone anytime, but I've worked into my schedule that during lunchtime, following grace, is when I pray for the sick and suffering and those dealing with disease and hardship, depression, cancer and death. Sadly my list is long, but I gladly take on more because in my heart and in my faith it matters. It makes a difference. Thank you for posting this, @Royale with Cheese
  20. The best way BB can confuse the hell out of Josh Allen is have someone try to explain to Josh what a "4th down" is.
  21. Darn it, Appoo, you forced me into a stat I wanted to save, but here goes...it is terrible logic, but still. If the Bengals win on Saturday they should be rooting for the Bills to beat the Chiefs, even though they have already beaten the Chiefs this year. Why? In their entire 56 year history and their double digit playoff appearance years they have never made it to a Super Bowl without beating the Bills. 1981 Playoffs in the divisional round to make it to the Super Bowl against the Niners... and again in the 1988 season AFC Championship game to make it to the Super Bowl against...well...the Niners again. Niners are in the playoffs this year, too. Weird. Hey, I don't make this stuff up, I just twist it around.
  22. Appoo I loooooovvve the Bengals. I am not saying we had to play them, but I get your conclusion. Respectfully to them, it just seems "right" that it should be Chiefs and Bills. Now that said, oh boy I am pulling for the Bengals over the Titians because although we may have a better shot against the Titans I will not rule out the craziness of Rich Ralph High Era Stadium with a chance to go to the Super Bowl on the line. Crap, am I not allowed to type that due to copyrights? I mean, "with a chance to go the the NFL Championship game." EDIT: you know I was about to correct the fact that I wrote the word "Titians", but you know what...****'em. GO BILLS!
  23. I am really kind of annoyed that both the Bills and Chiefs didn't take care of business enough during the regular season as to force us into the current situation of having this game in the second round instead of the AFC Championship, where it belongs. For crying out loud the Bucs and Packers got the memo. EDIT: Seriously, I am not saying it could have happened, but it would have been cool to have the opportunity for the same four teams to be in the semis.
  24. Remember when everyone was ready to give the Cardinals the Lombardi trophy earlier in the season? Do you remember when Kyler Murray was considered just plain better than Josh Allen?
  25. it is impossible to choke so badly that literally everything the other team does is measured from a historic perspective. Additionally, choking so badly is Mac going 10 for 35, for 175 yards and 4 pics, which wasn’t the case. The most terrifying thing fans around the country should take away from the Bills record setting performance against the Patriots…is the Fact that the Patriots weren’t actually terrible. Yeah…the Bills ARE that good. No presumption here. Just a firm commitment to not being afraid of anyone in this league.
