  1. Appoo I loooooovvve the Bengals. I am not saying we had to play them, but I get your conclusion. Respectfully to them, it just seems "right" that it should be Chiefs and Bills. Now that said, oh boy I am pulling for the Bengals over the Titians because although we may have a better shot against the Titans I will not rule out the craziness of Rich Ralph High Era Stadium with a chance to go to the Super Bowl on the line. Crap, am I not allowed to type that due to copyrights? I mean, "with a chance to go the the NFL Championship game." EDIT: you know I was about to correct the fact that I wrote the word "Titians", but you know what...****'em. GO BILLS!
  2. I am really kind of annoyed that both the Bills and Chiefs didn't take care of business enough during the regular season as to force us into the current situation of having this game in the second round instead of the AFC Championship, where it belongs. For crying out loud the Bucs and Packers got the memo. EDIT: Seriously, I am not saying it could have happened, but it would have been cool to have the opportunity for the same four teams to be in the semis.
  3. Remember when everyone was ready to give the Cardinals the Lombardi trophy earlier in the season? Do you remember when Kyler Murray was considered just plain better than Josh Allen?
  4. it is impossible to choke so badly that literally everything the other team does is measured from a historic perspective. Additionally, choking so badly is Mac going 10 for 35, for 175 yards and 4 pics, which wasn’t the case. The most terrifying thing fans around the country should take away from the Bills record setting performance against the Patriots…is the Fact that the Patriots weren’t actually terrible. Yeah…the Bills ARE that good. No presumption here. Just a firm commitment to not being afraid of anyone in this league.
  5. I stated it in the game thread and I will reiterate it here: It’s weird to say, because it is not our job, but it is our responsibility to eradicate prejudice and ignorance around the league. Because as hard as it is to believe there are still those out there…STILL to this day…who think Dak Prescott is better than Josh Allen at QB. This isn’t just Skip Bayless disease, but an American disease. Please will you help those who need it most with a donation? It’s never too late to save a moron.

  7. Apologize If redundant, but jeepers creepers the hits just keep coming… On December 6th, during the “tornado bowl” between Buffalo and New England in Orchard Park, with 13:23 left in the third quarter the Bills punted for the very last time in 2021-22 against the Pats. Almost 10 quarters. The Bills 484 yards of offense against the Pats was the maximum amount of yards they could achieve during the game (other than kneel down) as they scored tds the entire field length of all their drives. Bills were 6/7 on third down. The only third down they didn’t convert was when Mitch kneeled at the end of the game. Aaron Schatz, Editor-in-Chief of Football Outsiders
  8. On the Bills’ 3rd possession of their December 26th game against New England they turned it over on downs. Other than kneel downs or the end of a first half expiration of time it is the only drive they didn’t score against the Patriots in 2 games. Over the two games they scored 11 tds and 2 field goals, turned it over on downs once, ended the first half once, and knelt to end the game twice. As you know they never punted in either game and never saw a 4th down in last night’s game. Over the two games Josh Allen threw for 622 yards for 8 TDs and ran the ball for 127 yards. …but the hardest one to wrap my head around is that the Bills surrendered the ball over to the Patriots only once in 2 games over 17 drives. …since December 26th, over 4 games, the Bills have punted twice. EDIT: the Bills are 12-1 against the AFC East the last two years and are the first team to win back to back seasons series against Bill Belichick since…holy mackerel, I have no idea when.
  9. I can’t even contain myself. How can any of you sleep? I am bouncing off the walls with boundless energy. I’ve done 8 pushups and 6 sit-ups and I swear on everything that I hold dear I could do 4 more, of each. GO BILLS, BABY!
  10. I am honestly over the age of 50. Everything aches. Everything is too loud for me. I am always cold without my shawl, even in August. And I always seem to be waiting for my soup. I don't need the age shaming or cancel culture that IS the early 21st century machinations. I have my rights, too! ...now why the hell is the window open?!
  11. I want a dome stadium because I am good enough... ...I'm smart enough... ...and dog-gone-it, I'm worth it!
  12. I have been a dyed in the wool Bills fan for more than half century or so on this orb and I have been to 200 or so games over that time, including a Super Bowl and the coldest Bills home game ever against the Raiders. ...but that was roughly 30 years ago and when I read your "-3 with the wind chill" a little bit of pee came out. I shall suffer through my humiliation with the 135" * screen in my living room, now...please...look away from me. (* humble brag, if you like big screens)
  13. TFP...always...I have always held places in my heart after the Bills for The Pack and Cincy. You and I can party together on game day...you pay for everything, though. 😄😉
  14. I want to be very clear on this, because I am worried there is a little bit of confusion on this subject. I pride myself on being a man of faith...not exalting, but humble. I try to carry myself that way, everyday, as best as I can to set an example for my family and to be a better person. That said...I f***ing hate the Patriots. I hate that team. I hate most of their smug, stuck up, "we're better than you even though we are jugheads" fans. I hate those in the media that give accolades to this team I've labeled on twitter, Captain Junior and The Borings. Their defeat WILL usher in a thousand years of peace and prosperity in our land. They are the scourge of all things decent in our society. I want them beaten and defeated more than I want a dry-aged and rubbed, rare cooked porterhouse steak, with garlic mash and a thick seafood bisque soup, drinking Crown Royal Reserve (chilled, but neat) while on the back of a unicorn and watching Roadhouse at a drive-in theatre on a warm summer Saturday night...with subtitles in Mandarin, because that's the way I roll, Jelly. All of us here come from differing backgrounds and differing beliefs in other facets of our life. That is OK as our differences help make us stronger. But what unites us is our common love of this team, and what seals it is also our mutual hate of THAT other team. God bless to all peace loving people...even those we want to eviscerate on Saturday. GO BUFFALO BILLS! ...because I'll be damned if our team makes me want to do anything other than make very loud and emotional proclamations...along with some kicking heels up and the throwing back of the dome on my shoulders.
  15. Doc, correction on my original post in addition to answering your question as best I can. BB is actually 1-1 in the playoffs without Brady. When he was HC of Cleveland he won in the 94 Wild card against New England 20-13, then lost to Pittsburgh. He was 1-2, including post season, that year against Pittsburgh. I would imagine the other time would have to be the year he lost to the Jets in the post season as they are the only team they would have faced twice before and then lost.
  16. Scott, this was great. Initially it was a beer from me and then in a matter of seconds it was, "no...no, that is trophy worthy." I love that nugget. Thank you, Sir.
  17. BTW, I may be wrong, but I don't think I am, and I don't know whether anyone else has brought this up yet, but... Sean McDermott HC Playoff record with Josh Allen: 2-2 Bill Belichick HC playoff record without Tom Brady: 0-1 Just sayin' Go Bills!
  18. Pebbles Flintstone has a better chance of becoming the sixth Beatle than the Steelers do of winning at KC this weekend. ...but both possibilities, however small, do carry their own charm and interest factor.
  19. Throw in too, Guns, that he is likely hungry and his teammates love him.
  20. Hoping for this. Got it. Great move...just a plain smart move.
  21. Beasley may honestly be gone after the season and it could be for various reasons. However, as far as why he could possible stay some around here aren’t considering four words: what does Josh want?
  22. Heaven forbid we should even for a moment think that there is anything, as a player in the heat of it on the field, is justifiably upset about something in particular before deciding blame and punishment, but no biggie. Cool-cool-cool-cool-cool, we are all the smartest mouth breathers lurking on this orb so turn that key and ride that tiger, baby!* (* We are not. We are fairly stupid group, en masse, even sometimes the smartest of the crew around here, and we have the collective patience of ferrets. Being otherwise would bold well for us on a number of levels, but breath not held on this end waiting for it to happen)
  23. When was the last time the Pats lost back to back season series, including the playoffs, against a team? 2-0 And 2-1 would be nice.
  24. The Board members will correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that in either 1980 or 81 Joe Cribbs was due to get a bonus if he rushed for 1,200 yards in the season and they took him out early and he finished with 1,185 yards. The team and the player relationship never recovered after that and he held out early in the strike year of 1982, but came back and average 90 yards a game and finished with 630 for the season (but after starting 2-0 before the strike and at one point being I believe 4-2 the Bills lost 3 straight to end the season and finished 4-5, one game out of the expanded playoffs...that is a story for a whole other thread), then he jumped to the USFL for 1983. Came back briefly in 1985 after that league folded. For those of us old enough to remember we promise you younglings and those more recent fans...he was truly something special. EDIT: Oh, and Happy Birthday, Mr. Cribbs. 64 years young today.
  25. @Royale with Cheese Your greatest post ever, Royale. See, that wasn't so hard. I will share this story with many people not on this board. Just wonderful. Glad your son was OK and I hope you guys made a memory of a lifetime.
