  1. Agreed. However, I do believe if a good number of us protest outside his home in Columbus, TX, peaceably mind you, I believe we will be successful in getting him to change his mind from being the reserved private citizen and country Texan who enjoys his quiet life now to someone who is more interested in our needs and desires as a fandom, which means being part of our lives, but only when we feel like it, in...oh, I don't know, maybe a week? Now, please don't bug me while I make the "Why the **** aren't you around, ***hole! We love you!" placards...where did I put the red and blue markers?
  2. In a conference full of Snickers, Baby Ruth’s and Wanka Bars Tua is a piece of kale from the bottom of someone’s shoe…said Tua’s mom.
  3. Tyreek almost broke his ankle trying to stop/comeback for a throw that looked like it was heaved by Jessica Tandy from Driving Miss Daisy. ...and she's been dead since the 90s.
  4. HUDS, I scanned the emojis and I don't know what to think here. Yes? Maybe? Does it hurt us? Would he take it? If we are effectively talking a two year deal with little to no dead money consequences I could be in. This is so easy when you know the guys are going to be here a few years, but with some it gets tricky.
  5. This waiting around for the kickoff game is stupid because it is ridiculous to think the NFL could rationalize their way out of having the first game be Bills at Rams. NFL" "Wah, small city, blah, blah, blah" What about the Packers? NFL: "Shut up!" There are monks in a monastery outside of Pueblo, Colorado who are praying and quietly chanting, all while checking their watches to see how much more time before they get to see Josh Allen throw to Stephon Diggs, throw to the new national darling Gabe Davis, throw to one of the league's best TEs Dawson Knox, while also waiting to see what throwing to Howard, Cook and Crowder are going to add to the exciting-***** making mix of the Bills offense, oh and we have the league's number 1 defense that added Von Miller. Forgive my language, but you stupid ****** ******* idiots at the NFL who sit around all day with nothing to do but **** with your **** ****** ***** all day long should ignore the urge to be too cute by half and just go ahead and make this thing happen the way that every single living, breathing person in the country wants it to happen, and globally Bills v Rams on opening Thursday night is the only thing Zelenskyy and Putin agree on.
  6. In his spare time he also has been helping out the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL.
  7. Oh...oh no, no, no, no it will not.
  8. Guys how do you lock or close a thread? if the mods want to do it themselves, please feel free. this is a relief.
  9. I couldn’t agree more and the thread has been pressing on it. hell, is it even local? EDIT: Just to be clear, it was something that was out there and I waited a bit before posting. I know very little other then the tweet and the thread responses. I wish he would at least give us a general idea of where and what happened, even if he doesn’t feel comfortable saying who.
  10. Surprised this hasn’t come up. If true and if here a light needs to be shined on it. Racism hates the light. However, important to determine whether it was an establishment as opposed to a person.
  11. Chris, do you remember when the national media lauuuuuuuggggghhheeed at the Bills for this, and some even saying that they are a joke organization? You know, right before the season they made the playoffs, and have made it 4 times in 5 years? Damn right on Schoen. Clean house, buddy.
  12. 😂 Yeah, Dean, but the steal of the draft. He was much higher on a number of other boards. We'll be able to coach him up. 🤣
  13. "My favorite pick of the draft!", said somebody about somebody who I didn't even know about before.
  14. Holy mackerel. But besides that how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
  15. White and Elam together at CB for the next 4 years, through 2025? Yeah, I’ll take it.
  16. Duuuuuuuude.
  17. Great post, TPF, and solid points. Thank you, brother. I hope Josh Allen is the longest tenured starting QB in Bills history and for the remainder of my life...not that I want to die, but if he QBs like somewhere between Aaron, Tom and Drew he could still be here in 2038 and I am not sure of my time table after that! 😅
  18. TPF, respectfully, that is your opinion and I would love it if it were the case. As far the rest of it your amazement is on you, not me (😂 just kidding brother), but I mentioned the reasons why in my other posts, albeit just as examples. and yes, people change, if for no other reason now we are seeing more and more images of Josh IN bright lights, big city, beautiful places. He signed this contract long before his first was up, and it was really common sense for many reasons. Absolutely he wants to stay here… for now. I am going to enjoy it like everyone, but the implication in the earlier posts by people was that he is going to stay here for the rest of career, which remains to be seen. side note, why are you transplant bills fan?
  19. Sure...probably and hopefully to all. I agree that he is definitely here, no matter what, through 2028 and I am looking forward to every season.
  20. I never called him a liar. I do think some times in some circumstances life changes for an individual. Yeah, he's not going to have anonymity in any NFL city, so which NFL city without that anonymity does he want to be in a few years from now? This is a generational talent and a world is his oyster player...meaning he gets to pick whatever he wants and whatever dollar value he wants. I hope its here. This is my home and I have family here, but I am also tied to here. Would I stay here in WNY, though, if I had MY choice at whatever standard I want? I hope he stays here, but as I responded to 716 above and as I stated in my post, I think things change. Btw, what if McDermott leaves? What if the team changes? What if Beane leaves? What if they don't win a Super Bowl? What if they don't make it to a SB? What if after a few years he really doesn't like the OC? I know these are all what ifs, but these are all things that...kind of actually happen in sports and in life. What if around 2028 a Northern California team has a s***load of cash?
  21. No, after this contract.
  22. I love Josh Allen. However, he is about to be THE apex of this league and he signed a quarter of billion dollar deal that he is going to see every penny of and when that is done he will probably have 10 more years and a half billion more dollars in his future. Even he said recently that he is a little tired of losing some of the anonymity of his prior life that is long since gone, never to return. I hate to be that guy, but I also can't ignore the reality of the changes that all this success brings to this young man's life. So in short he is built for Buffalo, but unfortunately I don't think forever.
