  1. House, if you like I can start a brand new Madden thread and reference it in there.
  2. S***! He just screwed up his knee reading this thread.
  3. Gugny! Dude! Oh man. Are we doing knock knocks next?
  4. Regardless, and again I am not prying, but it is weird after so much time. Also, it is not like it is one of her children (like the BS/black mail reporters tried to do with Lindy Ruff a decade ago when his daughter was sick...a**holes). She is the President (CEO ?) of Pegula Sports and Entertainment. At some point someone has to say something from the organization. And it doesn't make anyone a jerk for wondering or asking on a message board.
  5. Are we still jumping all over WEO for his speculation, which wasn't unreasonable or rude at all, or are we just cool, cool, cool with the fact that one of the owners of the organization is said to be "progressing well" with no apparent further updates or even any photographs (also, not an unreasonable analysis after a month)? It is family and it is private. I get that and of course it is their right. Jess also played in Wimbledon, which she wouldn't have if her mother was in mortal danger. Also a good sign. Yet it is becoming more and more apparent that WEO may have been on to something early on. Again, they don't have to prove or show anything to us. However, KP, the sort of face of the new or modern NFL used in some of their advertisements has not been seen since before this health crisis. If she were progressing or there weren't visible signs of something wrong I would imagine that we would have seen her by now. If I have missed something I am sorry. That said, God bless Kim and her family and prayers for a speedy recovery.
  6. I thought it was going to be a majority for "no". When I voted "yes" and until the next person votes, I broke a 134 a piece vote. Wow, really didn't think it was that close.
  7. It was painful watching a guy who scored 51 TDs in ‘20, 42 passing including the playoffs, start the following Madden season (22) at an 81. It wasn’t even Bills fans that were upset as it was the Madden public clamoring that he was too low. I think he was an 85 by the 4th or 5th week. I thought he may have ended higher than 88, but I’m probably wrong. After another 50+ td season along with the best playoff rating in history and an almost consensus MVP that he might be a little higher. When you consider his versatility on the ground it makes has passing rankings look that much worse. Brady was great last year, but he is team was great, too, and not just because of him. Father Time is undefeated and I just don’t understand him being the best. Although EA Tiburon is in Florida, so… I played both versions, too, 716. Yeah, there were tweaks.
  8. During a much ballyhooed press conference Josh Allen comes out as touchdown fluid. Meaning he is comfortable being referred to, and perceived as, throwing them, rushing them and catching them. He also would like to go by his preferred TD pronouns: Pzz, Ruzz and Catzz
  9. Jeepers, Yolo, I don't think Barks is a 58. I'd put both the guys higher. Keenum at about 70 and Matt at 63-64.
  10. HUDS, I have so many stories about interesting things I have heard from other people.
  11. I've told this story before. Leading up to the 2018 draft I was interested in him for the Bills. I have a best friend who is always all over draft stuff, just very knowledgeable and he never had Rosen on his list of QBs. He would stop after listing 4 and never bring him up. Considering my friend is also more liberally minded I thought he would like the idea of Rosen. I asked him, "Why don't you have Rosen on any of your lists?" Answer...I know people who know him and he is a d**k. Just a real jerk that would be a cancer to the team. All the rehabilitation his teammates, coach and school are doing with him leading up to the the draft is a joke. He is simply terrible to be around and not a leader of men.
  12. I miss the ease, from both Madden and NFL 2K, of just playing a season, the current season over and over. I know, I know, there is a way with Franchise wherein you can just do it and then restart, but really it is set up more so for multiple seasons and every little doo-dad transaction. I wish there was a slider on all that where you could just go...just start the season and just play the games (not practice of front office or hot dog sales garbage) and then re-play if the the Bills were...off.
  13. Average rating of the Bills starting DBs: 89 Average Rating of our current Offensive skill position players assuming Josh comes in at a 95, and with a 3 WR set, and TE on the field: 85.67 If the team rating comes in at anything lower than a 90 tomorrow I am going down to EA Tiburon's HQs in Florida demanding to fight someone. Not at that moment, mind you, as I will need time to prep as I am more than deserving of a training montage video.
  14. Era, seriously, I was pleasantly surprised to see him at a 76. Might he make a jump to 80 this year? yeah, he really could.
  15. https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/player-ratings/player-name/James Cook/22054 75. Really not bad for a rookie rating and where he was drafted. If he shows a lot (keeping mind it might be difficult showing a lot if he is the RB 40% of the time) he could get close to 80 by the end of the season.
  16. Oh boy, Andy, you are going to make me date myself. If memory serves me correctly they did Madden ratings by numbers even early on and as such then there was, at the very least, one other time. To explain it to those who might not know on the timing of Madden releases, Madden '93 was the game released in the Summer / Fall of 1992, which means it was after the Bills 1991 Super Bowl campaign year in which Kelly was the League MVP and the Bills lost to Washington. The Bills were just about the best team in the game. Jim Kelly was just about the best QB in the game. I still have it and the Sega Genesis it played on. Part of my gaming history which you can come visit and see in the storage area of my basement. Like the Albright Knox this is a limited exhibition as my wife is complaining about needing more storage space for things we actually use. No. Historical. Perspective. Whatsoever. EDIT: For crying out loud this is going to be the 30TH ANNIVERSARY of the first Madden game I ever bought!! EDIT 2: 11 years after I bought my first Madden game I joined a particular message board for the purpose of interesting, diverse and intelligent Bills talk and I can say with all honesty there has definitely been Bills talk. I kid, I kid.
  17. Seemingly by insider predictions gonna be a 95, but I’d kiss you right now for above if we were in the same room, JP. Which would be awkward because my daughter is here right now watching Bluey on Disney. Not too awkward as I have a book at the ready to explain things. “Daddy Just Loves The Bills!” Quick Edit: I honestly now can’t get the 97 out of my head. Dang it, it isn’t likely to happen, but it seems so right.
  18. Matt, I forget which Madden (‘04, ‘02?) but with Bledsoe (still rated well…likely 2002) throwing to Moulds, Price and Reed, and Travis out of the backfield and Larry Centers catching balls…man, it was just a mediocre Madden team with a dynamic and productive offense. You could some games back in the day with the stock team online…which nobody plays with the stock team anymore online…I’m old. 😢
  19. Please knock it off, Reign. I worked kind of hard here. I don't need you coming in this thread and making a mess all over the place just because of your juvenile humor. Although I refuse to be a manager here because it is the Mods' job to beat you off of this thread if they believe it appropriate. That's it...I'm spent.
  20. With potentially six skill positions players on the field at once if Morse and Dawkins are both in the 80s then 8…8 players on offense could all be on the field for the Madden Bills. I know the game is Madden, but it also could be considered Unreal. See what I did there? I’ll go now.
  21. Kdiggz I am hoping for about 95 and at least 5th among qbs. I hope and wish he would be higher, but I know how EA Tiburon works. It honestly becomes WTF if he is a 92, the 9th or 10th qb and not even in the top 20 overall in league. edit: Kelce is a 98 (I believe), and I just don’t think he is a better TE than Allen is a QB.
  22. When haven't I been? Honestly, you write it like it's a bad or creepy thing.
  23. Royale...brother, it is not mine or some of the other followers' imaginations...EA Tiburon, the makers of Madden, are not the biggest Bills fans. It was like getting your teeth pulled watching them slooooooowwwwwwllly raise Allen's rating last year. In short you are spot on correct on him needing to be higher. Hell even at least an 85.
  24. BTW, Rigotz, my bad on missing that other thread. I just scanned the main page and I didn't see it. I am still likely to do the dailys with update and commentary, but if the mods ditch mine because of the May 27th thread I get it.
