  1. Einstein you gotta love the fact that a thread you started 9 or so days ago has more than doubled itself just in less than a day. Lively and current topic. Some posters have their threads sink and die quickly never to be seen again. I believe I have one about why our gumbo is better than New England's gumbo that just never really found its place. Cheers.
  2. I just take it as he probably retired around four years ago (didn't read so I don't know, my bad) and time to do something he likes.
  3. Good for that guy. Retiree, doing what makes him happy. We should all be that happy.
  4. Allen’s rating is finally about where it should have always been: 96. Mahomes is still the top QB at 97, but that’s fine.
  5. I remember when some company sent him a box of about a thousand swizzle sticks just so he wouldn’t have to worry about where he’d get them. Good bye. Swift travels to the next destination.
  6. I stated this a couple of months ago. A friend of mine lives in New England and an actual live talk show on tv in New England had the topic “Will Mac Jones make it to the Hall of Fame?”
  7. Their boards are a glorious place to visit after a game like this. Such disillusionment. Such confusion. It’s like picking out the best Halloween candy from the basket.
  8. Originally "$2Donuts" to sort of show surety of opinion. ...then someone here referred to me as "Two Dollar Donuts" which sort of showed I went too far on a a name that I thought up in just moments and was too cute by half. Not helped by the fact this person was a good friend of mine of this board. modified it to what it is today. I am honestly indifferent to it.
  9. I am noticing a trend around the NFL with teams not named Bills, Chiefs and Eagles.
  10. Agreed. No joy whatsoever. Man that young man was doing sweet things on the football field.
  11. It’s getting tired with them. Regardless of Lance or Jimmy as it makes no difference. Even when they are “good” they are a 9-8, 10-7 team, at best.
  12. No lie, a quality guard is badly needed on this team.
  13. I like CMC, buts let’s be real. he does have cap issues which aren’t as illusory as some feel cap issues are and we have pretty darn good guys we need to sign. ...and most importantly a 2nd, 3rd, 4th in 23 and 5th in 24 takes away three guys in 23 from the Bills that you know would heavily contribute to this team.
  14. Robb, not only great points, but if you don't mind I would like to join in on your second comment with respect to him being inconsistent. I agree, but everybody has to remember (we do, but outside of here they don't) that even when they picked him seventh even fans of his in the media said he was a project QB who needed to sit for a year. ...which turned into him becoming the starter less than 1 half into his first NFL game. 😁 Additionally, after he came back from being injured in that Atlanta game he was different...just plain different. Sure, he didn't go undefeated, but he was more composed and was seeing the field a little better. He still took his lumps in year two, but obviously ticked up as did his team to 10-6 and...oh boy...those of us who were fortunate enough to see him play that final game of his first year against Miami saw something special.
  15. Master of the obvious: the absolutely best thing that happened to the Buffalo Bills was Josh coming back for what many deemed an unimpressive senior year. A number of sites had him as the number 1 overall pick before his senior season. Thank you football gods and thank you Josh.
  16. My sarcasm above aside, Bob, this is just so ridiculous now...meaning, I've watched a number of videos of him from his high school days and even his JC days...it is truly baffling why not one of these colleges or universities, besides Wyoming, wouldn't at least take a flyer on the kid. No one...No one out there said to themselves, "Yeah, he's raw, but he is good. He has the tools and some fight in his belly. let's see."?!
  17. Side note and unrelated, but still it is about the schedule. Week 14 is the next time Miami plays a team that currently has a winning record (Chargers 4-2). Week 11 is the second game this season that the Bills will be playing a team that currently has a losing record (Browns 2-4). Sorry, it was just something I notice when scanning the schedules. No weeping for the best team in the NFL, but again, just noticed it.
  18. Motorin' I was hoping I wasn't being two straight with it. Please know, btw, your points are right on, too!
  19. Please turn your sarcasm detector on.
  20. He had accuracy issues. Please don't underestimate the importance of completion percentage at all levels. It matters. It goes with you wherever you go. A permanent football scar whose shame never washes off or changes.
  21. I picked the Bucs, because who doesn't want to throttle Brady's head in the biggest game of the year and have our linemen after the game FORCE HIM to shake hands with Josh. However, and I never want to see players injured, but I would be OK if Dak has to sit for the year, the Cowboys trade for Brady and the Cowboys make it to the SB...just so satisfying on many levels.
  22. Right...the laugh at the end just seals the deal.
  23. Sorry for the bump. It's just because I have more info in the original post.
  24. Virgil, great post. Thank you. Many good points, but the sentiment I want to point out, that I am very much with you on, is being at peace. We are on break. We've had devastating injuries that are healing. Yet we are in first place in the conference. Maybe the most difficult part of our schedule is over. We have a head to head tie breaker with the #2 seed. We have a head to head tie breaker with the #3 seed. We have a head to head tie breaker with the #4 seed. We have a two game lead on the only team that has beaten us this year. I know who this team is. More importantly they know exactly who they are and what they are doing. Nothing is going to change any of that in what will be the most relaxing Bills bye of my lifetime. This is like sweet nectar* from the football gods, who can be finicky, but are currently gracing us. (* I have no idea what nectar tastes like. I'll assume pretty darn good...kind of like the way we all feel right now)
  25. @NoHuddleKelly12 I joined image flip just to make you smile, Huds. 😁
