  1. The Allies after defeating the axis of evil in 1945, liberating the world from monsters and the atrocities they committed against all humanity, celebrated with pure joy and celebration in the streets through the U.S. and the world. ….this feels better than that.
  2. Tangent. This makes 12 division titles. 1964 1965 1966 1980 1988 1989 1990 1991 1993 2020 2021 2022
  3. I believe the pre-game talk still listed him at 170. I saw various sources indicate as much. additionally, the games matter a little bit to some. Josh was trailing him coming in, and by the end I believe Josh has played three more games…which is ridiculous when you consider the different environments the two played in. in other words, give Josh 5 less games, but the same weather conditions and he would have left Marino in the dust.
  4. I still think he was jipped a bit. He was tied with Marino at 171 (133 passing, 37 rushing, 1 receiving) but for some stupid reason they don’t count the reception.
  5. With that balmfest I expect the Bills to bring Misters for the sideline.
  6. 5 pm on the dot. 7 hours after losing it. Those out there, braving the elements and bringing us back heat and safety are saints.
  7. Thank you, Brother. Not only appreciated but needed. My girls are…not coping. 🤣 I have another friend from Atlanta, too, and he mentioned he lost power.
  8. This “started” at around 7:30 am in Williamsville. By 10 am we were without power, still without it now and not likely to come on anytime soon. So…2 hours in, no power and only 36 hours left to go. Cool, cool, cool.
  9. House, this has probably been asked in the earlier pages of this thread and this is a bit rhetorical, but how the hell has his number not been retired by them yet?! Jacka**es...what, you had to perseverate over this one, Steelers Owners/Admin? Idiots.
  10. Interesting, LB. Didn’t think about it that way. My thought was if he is something you need and gives you any sort of advantage in moving the ball in what may come down to being the most important game of the season, play him. However, I do get your logic. That seems sound. I am NOT looking past the Bears, but man, I am already uncomfortably thinking about the Bengals.
  11. Sorry if posted and I missed this as I didn’t go through this thread fully. Good catches by Chris T on Elam.
  12. People who refer to Wednesday as “hump day.”
  13. If Beas were to play three out of these four games I’ve changed my mind on it. Before I wanted him playing against Miami, Cincy and New England. I now kind of want him for this game against Chicago where it appears it will be a short yardage get what you can game, He can sit for New England, which surprisingly might be the best conditions for this team in awhile at home even though it is January.
  14. Dude…oh man, the flavor is just coming back to me in my head. Thank you. @loyal2dagame also, I really like skyline chili and make it here, but that is just me.
  15. ive gone to 6-7 games as I have some friends down there, but not for years so I’m not much help here. However, I always found Cincy a blast and the people there are generally great. great rib place on the river. Boy, begins with an M, but I can’t remember right now.
  16. In my small head, yes Julian! 😅
  17. Considering the Bills blowing anybody out, even bade teams (not many on the schedule), has gone the way of the Dodo I'm not going to jump on anyone for getting anxious about going on the road, in terrible conditions, on a terrible field, with a now typically banged up squad, against a team that has nothing to lose against the Bills and is likely treating this as their mini super bowl. So the next "Bills by 20" that comes true will be the first one since October 9th, 10 games ago in a 14 game season so far. We must have 3 straight and everybody should be taken seriously to avoid the "if we just would have beat the Jags" scenario. Go Bills!
  18. When Shannon Sharp beats Skip Bayless to death with a shoe horn remember I told you so.
  19. Please, Chandler! You get drafted by Buffalo and see how you deal with the money and fame, with the added responsibility of playing a game you love, competently! 😆
  20. Agreed...but it doesn't change what is going on. Although he isn't producing like a number 2 it is a pretty good and helpful to his team as a 3rd option right now and it is not like their receivers light it up or that they have Diggs and he is just open a lot.
  21. I am not being coy and I am not being sarcastic and I mean this when I say that it is semi-remarkable that this team is 11-3, with as difficult as their schedule has been and all the injury adversity, when you then pile on some of the bone headed mistakes...and not just from players, but from coaches and...honestly...honestly, the front office as well. I've said it elsewhere on our Board...toss out "you have to be able to play special teams" along with "if you don't practice you can't play" and "you can lose your spot due to injury" as we sit and watch the Giants make...not ample use of Hodgins, but great use of him. 19 receptions in the last five games, and please spare us the Dabol is guru stuff. This is just smart play calling and getting the best out of a talented player when you don't focus on the fact that he isn't the best blocker on runs or cover guy on kicks.
  22. They won’t overlook them, arcane, I agree. but man, it seems like that we aren’t catching the bears or the weather at the right time. we will win, but for the first time for most of the year it looks like the Bears will be a tough out. My soul sure could handle and easy Bills victory for the first time in awhile.
  23. Was it “All QBs when they turn the corner to unbridled money and success that turn into career goals and ambitions love being stifled by the elements and then still compared to other QBs that play in almost constant ideal conditions.”?
