  1. When the Bills beat the Bengals they will finish the year having beat every single AFC team they played this year, given they came back to avenge their only two losses. I’ll stretch it further given the above, if they win the next two they will have also beaten every single AFC team they played the last time they faced them this year ( @GunnerBill thanks for the catch, GB). Sorry, thought it was neat. Go Bills!
  2. If pulled from memory than I am impressed, AJ. I know this happened, but I had to check the date. Knew it was the 70s. It was 1978, Bills 5-0 over the Bengals.
  3. I donated to his charity. This doesn’t change anything about the good way I still think about him for that. I also don’t think the Bills are going to shut these guys down. However, I do feel bad for them because it is going to sting after reading their own clippings and seeing what everyone has been saying about them lately only to have Josh Allen and the Bills walk into their house, b***h slap them into the corner, sit in their favorite chair and then tell them to go get them some skyline chili they’ve been hearing so much about. I mean come on, it’s gonna be awkward.
  4. I agree, Jay, but just a reminder to everyone, unlimited call ups per player, but they get only two call ups per game. Fine if they are just these two, but you never know.
  5. My rough Super Bowl 25 expenses when my brother and I went down. 2 tickets, $175 a piece; $1.14 per gallon of gas, 1,233 mile trip, each way, and random driving for 11 mpg diesel RV, about $260 plus let’s say a high of $20 in tolls; $100 in groceries; $200 in meals and expenses for 3 days; $40 or so at the game. A total of about $970 which in todays money is $2,122.39. Considering we are bouncing around here the neighborhood of $20,000 I’ll have to get back to you, but I think it is more than likely that you guys are going to have to go without me.
  6. I hear you. ok, then I’ll put it down as dump offs. good ones.
  7. i can’t even think of enough points to give you for this post, guns. Hell, I need my abacus.
  8. Beasley’s career, even as a Bill, has been short yardage receiving patterns and situations. There is no real timing or same page scenario to work on. There is no deep out and he lost a step concerns. They just have to utilize him in that capacity, which they haven’t really done yet. The ideal Beasley game, as I’ve said here before, that helps the team? 6 targets, 5 receptions, 40 yards, and 4 first downs. That’s who is. That’s who he was. THAT’s what they need.
  9. JJ you are rock star. Thank you, Sir. chongli, don’t forget fergy was sadly playing on a broken ankle. playing. On. A. Broken. Ankle. Man, that is crazy. Legit rub, 2 wrs, excellent and youthful d, and veteran qb. As I said earlier fergie’s broken ankle did them in. What is worse? given the raiders upset of Cleveland the afc championship game, had the bills beat SD, would have been in Buffalo.
  10. Xwnyer, I just remember being so over the top happy as a kid. oh, and being the only undefeated team in the nfl at 5-0 by going to to San Diego and beating their 4-0 a**es!
  11. I love you guys and gals, but I would give my left nut to have a divisive entourage around here.
  12. Remember when they were going to challenge the Chiefs this year for the AFCE West title? Yeah, I don't either.
  13. Please can we just put together a complete game and slap all those down who continue to make excuses about KC and Cincy being better...oh, and get one step away from locking up HFA? I would love 40 degrees, Josh going 27-35 for 350, with 5 total TDs (4 air, 1 ground) and all runners totaling 130-140 yards, and at least 6 TDs in a 45 - 21 game. That really isn't asking for much. Go Bills!
  14. True. Again, I am trying to find out how many times it has been done where both games are road games. I've written a question to the author from pkw's link above.
  15. Awesome. Thank you, Sir. Now lets have the Bills add to that! EDIT: @pkwwjd However, from the link even though it has happened 18 times, it doesn't show home or away.
  16. I don’t have all the facts, I just have my memory and loose discussion of a criteria which isn’t researched a whole lot, so take it worth a grain of salt, if you will. First, the Bills own legacy of this happening in their history. I was there in 1980 when the Bills beat the defending super champion and AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers, and then a few weeks later when they beat the defending NFC Champion L.A. Rams. So in 1980 was the last time the Bills played both conference and super bowl champs and also won. If the Bills beat Cincy on Monday they will do it again, but both games will have been on the road. I am not sure whether that has ever happened before in the NFL in the regular season. Any research buffs please feel free to correct me, as again I am not sure. I just think that, either way, it is pretty darn impressive. Go Bills!
  17. I don't need Nick Wright to tell us anything as the bolded part above says a lot. Throw in a new OC and that some of us said early on we are just not that good at WR and that is enough. Although I don't listen or watch the guy I would be curious on his takes of why his Queefs couldn't beat a dismal Colts team or why there was a struggle against, and no hyperbole or exaggeration here, the NFL's worst team in the Texans.
  18. I also think our guys have hit the mentality of (and I am not saying this is a bad thing), "WHATEVER, let's just win games and get to the playoffs." They want home field advantage so there is obviously that, but this team wants that Super Bowl and everything leading up to it, is just sort of everything leading up to it.
  19. Wiz, my buddy wanted to draft Humphrey in the second round so very, very badly. He loves Morse, but so much upside with Humphrey. Totally cool if MM rides into the sunset because of his health...but boy, KC is set at Center for a decade. If you ever meet my friend, don't talk to him about it. It still bugs him...and don't even start on Ngata! 😅
  20. I will say if it was just 1 RB everyone would be on board with 250 Carrie’s for 1,252. If that average was maintained for a 16 game season, about 270 for 1,350 would be a heck of a finish.
  21. Sorry if posted before…phin heaven. I don’t take any glee this time around and I am sorry for this kid, quite a bit. I joke about them losing and suffering, not about a player getting hurt. You knew something was off watching that fourth quarter. additionally, keeping a closer eye on on the kid MEANS KEEPING A CLOSER EYE ON THE KID. Regardless of what he “reports” you mean no one, even a coffee getting intern, is watching every play in which he goes to the ground?! idiots. https://finheaven.com/threads/tua-in-concussion-protocol.376441/
  22. What does he gain by keeping him, though? With the relative equivalent of 10 seasons Bill is 79-86 (I believe), with 2 playoff appearances (Cleveland in ‘95? And last year) and no division titles. the emperor has no clothes as we all suspected. That I think is more possible than him being in New England.
  23. Hilarious, although I do like that guy. I’ve seen some of his videos in years past, but man…I remember those times for us. Soul crushing.
  24. yeah, it also not lost on me that he really could be locked in and entrenched there, but still the natives are wrestles and this could be Kraft’s excuse.
  25. I can’t help but think that BB may be out in New England after the 8th. Speculation seems to be that Kraft may want to finally turn the corner. If not, where do they have to go with him and his crew? After the ‘95 playoff loss to Buffalo that was it for Don Shula and his much deserved HoF career. After these 20 years could the Bills put the nail in the coffin for all time super bowl winningest coach? I would be OK with it.
