  1. I'm torn on this. Another win against Miami brings the all time record to 56-62-1, and technically the Bills would win the season series. Bills are 51-39 against the Dolphins in the last 43 years. However, it is the third meeting and it just gets tiresome playing and beating the same team. I think it would be great to play the Chargers or the Jags, 2 teams we've met in the playoffs before but haven't for some time. Jags in 2017 and 1996, a team we've never beat in the post season and who owns the only opponent playoff victory on our field in the Ralph's 50+ year history, and we last played the Chargers in the post season in 1980...the Joe Ferguson broken ankle game.
  2. I'm sorry, Scott. (edit: sorry, didn't know this would merge. I thought others would have posted) I know it would have been a short week, but did anybody else want a Saturday game? I wanted one badly, and I would have been OK with the 4:30 time slot, too. I love seeing the Bills win and then having the next day off.
  3. Don't bring your gambling voodoo here, NewEra! Leave all that nonsense in the gutters where it belongs with the other heathens! ...buuuuuuut just to be clear...so you're telling me, even though I am a dyed in the wool Bills fan, just a little measly little $20 drop in the bucket bet on the Phins could get me $95?! 👀 Go Bills?
  4. Yeah, agreed...Also, I never want to hope anyone is out and I won't here this instance. If he has the minor surgery and can wear a club on his hand then God bless him. It's a big deal to play in the playoffs. It's what these guys work to achieve.
  5. Damn* you...damn* you all for getting my hopes up. Go Bills! (* Not eternal damnation, I'm not a monster, for crying out loud, and I have no power over such things. Just sports and hope damnation. At heart I am a people person)
  6. This. This is what some of us were worried about at the start of the season and this is the point we have been trying to make, supported again here contextually by Joe DiBiase. Davis is still an asset, but just not a #2 asset, and most certainly not a 1B, either.
  7. Don...my goodness that catch by Brown was so gorgeous. I'm sorry, I just love replaying it on video and in my head. One...it takes just one of those to total mess with the head of a DC. If Allen started to hit Beas on just a couple of slants, ad then you have Diggs and Smoke on the sides, and Cook and Motor as valves...oh boy.
  8. That's why I still think there is a place for Beasley during these playoffs. He has only been back for a bit. I honestly think he can help*. (* I didn't say lead..."help")
  9. We are still looking at this all wrong. We SHOULD have a domed stadium, because then we can put solar panels all over that sucker and have it be an energy self-sufficient meeting place for sports and entertainment. If we heat the heck out of the dome the water runoff from all the snow can be recycled and also stored for cooling the place during the summer months. All the feces and waste during and after events can also be retooled into energy. Jeepers, why the heck is it always my job to come up with these great ideas?
  10. Many great points made in this thread, but how in the world do I not highlight a Trading Places reference?! BR going 40 years back in his brain bank and finds a chain link between that and the modern day NFL from 8 days ago and says, "hold my beer." I love it brother!
  11. Oh my, the robot pieces of **** acting like robot pieces of **** only to express false incredulity at any insinuation that they might be robot pieces of ****. (goes over notes) Yep, they were who we thought they were regardless of the words that were coming out of their mouths contradicting the actions we all knew they were taking.
  12. I hit the pause button every time they showed the dome. Oh, and all my clothes were 100% on the whole time...freaks. 😄
  13. Virgil, I mentioned a couple of months back (just pulling numbers out my backside) that when he is available that someone will give him a 4 year 50 million dollar deal, so I hear you on the above. I just don't want it to be the Bills. He is a 2b or a solid 3 on a team.
  14. Thanks eball. In something I read over the weekend it was nonchalantly stated he was on IR and I didn't remember the Bills actually doing it.
  15. Football related with Hamlin and my apologies as I may have missed it. Is he on injured reserves right now? If he is does that mean he is done for the season (technically) and can't come back even if he were cleared at some point, or is IR different in the playoffs? Again, sorry if missed.
  16. My only disagreement with you, Einstein, is that I honestly believe he is at best a 2b. I think either in the draft or in FA we have to find a better compliment to Diggs.
  17. Cincy will be tough Why no talk about the Phins? Because they suck b***s
  18. It’s real, it’s well earned and it is woefully under what was expected going into the season and there is no good excuse for it, as well as giving him a pass on his drops is like saying it’s ok for a goalie to have a low save percentage. 70, 78, 82, 79, 73 and 68 are the #2 wide receiver totals by the AFC playoff teams.
  19. 45 receptions in 15 games and about 55% catch ratio is not even yeoman effort for the supposed #2 receiver on a team that is supposed to be a super bowl contender with a QB who is routinely in consideration for MVP status. Enough of this garbage and excuses that week and and week out is made for someone who is “spectacular”, briefly, once every 150-180 minutes on the clock. ”oh, you can’t enjoy a win.” yes I can and it was great, but I want a super bowl.
  20. Very respectfully, I know the history and that’s why I stated it and I didn’t stutter when I typed what I wrote. I respect you thoughts and upvoted you, but I stand by what I wrote. I actually also think you are undervaluing what I mean when I say a better Josh Allen and Diggs. They make a big difference. At times the seem to make all the difference that matters. And right now I’d take last year’s 11-6 team and 2020’s 13-3 over this team. Beating the Chiefs was forever and numerous injuries ago. love’em. Cheer like mad for them. Will hope for a super bowl from them, but my feelings remain the same on it. Go Bills.
  21. That’s ok, we can afford another injury.
  22. This is the 2019 Bills with a better Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. Sorry. I love them and will cheer like crazy, but that’s it. Flaws everywhere…everywhere on this team. Defense, Offense, offensive line, defense against the pass (heck, sometimes against the run), WR, OC. They are MY team, but it just is so flawed. Not that they can’t do some damage, but still. Go Bills!
  23. Davis might honestly be the worst #2 of any team in the playoffs. …which is not very encouraging. So tired of it being on Allen and Diggs all the time through the air and then once every 4-5 weeks Davis does something impersonating a #2. Thankfully there has been more Knox in the second half of the season. EDIT: and respectfully, fyi, Davis is the 87th leading receiver in the league with Allen at QB.
