  1. That is a good point, Mr L. I guess it would depend on how much they love somebody in the later half.
  2. No, I am not 100% sure about 2010. I just know from everything that I have read that THIS is not a strong draft and I am not sure we are quite at the state to see how many FIRST ROUND draft picks we can stack it with, or give up for it. What do you do if AFTER the 2010 college season the 2010 draft is deep at a position of need, wherein you might be able to fall back in round 1 or get more picks later in the draft? My one overall feeling this year is that I do not want to stretch in this years draft. Get what we need, get deals if they are out there, and that's it. hmmm, why can't i get the image of JP Losman from the 2004 Draft Class out of my head? NOTE: Thank you, G.Host, I had not yet seen your post before i revised mine, but your point is my point.
  3. No offense, but this is not the draft year you try to put all your eggs into. ...No, this is not that year at all.
  4. Sorry to be one of those guys, NYO, but who's on first? So, you won't be nervous if we DO come out of the first round without an OT? Just funnin' ya, man, I get what ya meant and I'm with you.
  5. Thanks, Skoob. I know it was an easy and obvious one to throw out there but I could not resist.
  6. Hey, did anyone see that Youtube video of Hitler going on about T.O.?
  7. You, Sir, are flawed in your thinking...because you left out the Dockery Debacle. Otherwise, your analysis was uncomfortably accurate. Man am I nauseous over this team and front office.
  8. fixed. "their" way. Sorry, I was mad.
  9. What really bothers me is that Philly isn't even going to blink at paying him. It will be a deal done and over with, oh, and they made the playoffs last year. As an organization the Bills suck, spend money on nobody and pee themselves when something challenging comes their way. ...oh, when I say challenging, I mean the Peters situation not the failing to get paperwork in on the Dockery trade that never took place...that was just plain stupid and irresponsible. Whoopsie, we're sorry! :censored: :wallbash: :wallbash:
  10. Oh, Ish, I'm not saying we should pick him up, I'm just saying someone should and he could be worth the late round investment and 2-3 year project as a practice squad or 3rd string player. ...um, and yes, what you suggested probably will happen.
  11. Bingo. Additionally, I like to think that I respect everyone's religious beliefs and i do sympathize with those having a problem with this. However, I do also respect TIVO and Stubhub.com, which are 2 ways to sort of resolve the problem.
  12. Not only do I think he'll get drafted, I also believe he was a bad International Bowl performance away from being a possible 5th round pick. What were his numbers again? I think 26 TDs and 5 pics headed into the IB, with 2,600 or so yards (could be off on that) and a QB rating in the 130s or so (remember, QB rating system is different in College). He can throw the deep ball and is about 6'-4" 215lbs. Should he start? No Should he be a high draft pick? No However, he does seem to have everything you need in this league and some numbers to back it up. Good luck, Drew.
  13. Come on, Lv, you know...YOU KNOW he doesn't want to come here and the chiefs would not do that to him. ...although it would be nice!
  14. Yeah, I'm completely there with ya, Big Cat. No offense to anybody but I never really understood the whole, "Crowell is gone, we have another hole to fill" comments. Its kind of like, "Crap, the Jets signed Jim Leonard, now we have to find another safety!"
  15. They just gave Rich Eisen* a new contract and he played it right; just show up every day, do your job, and the Network will take care of you. Schefter should know better. * I have no idea whether Eisen got a new deal. I just wanted to keep this thought going. I know some of you are sticklers for that.
  16. I don't know, I kinda think the last time Jackson when up against New England he had a pretty good game.
  17. Right there with ya, Sage.
  18. The Miami game where we ran the ball like crazy and which was the last game of Shula's career. Remember, we lost the next week in Pittsburgh when Bruce had the flu and they busted Kelly's shoulder. ...and I believe we did sell out that Miami game.
  19. Bonus points to stuckincincy for being the first one in because this really was going to be my post.
  20. Side trivia: In their 33 year history the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have NEVER played a regular season game in Buffalo. It seems like there's a chance that streak could continue.
  21. Oh, nucci, I definitely did, brother. It's all good!
  22. Thanks, nucci, considering the day I am having I really needed that. Now back to me just plain being an idiot.
  23. hmmm, I believe one of us saw this coming a week and half ago. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...p;#entry1350959
