  1. https://www.instagram.com/p/C2voniCMHEw/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet I don't care what anybody says. Just give'em to me. Early 2000s, blue on blue "dress blues"! EDIT @NickelCity Nick..NICK...once they actually have those colors on and you're cheering for them it will be transformative.
  2. There is no down side to this, really even if he comes in to play. He is a veteran mentor role player off the field and he is an incredibly well versed in our defense veteran grizzle dawg player on the field, even if he has lost a step or two. Give me slower but Zen over younger but clueless seven days a week.
  3. Give me an old school CFL/USFL 14-4 or 15-3 record! I remember when the Boston Breakers and Denver Gold finished 11-7 and 10-8...I have no idea why I remember that. EDIT: I also remember when the Ottawa Roughriders (RIP) made it to the Grey Cup with two playoff victories after finishing the season 5-11. They lost to Warren moon and the Edmonton Eskimos, but I loved that Roughriders team and all that moxie. EIDT 2: Some info on that team... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/69th_Grey_Cup "The 69th Grey Cup was played on November 22, 1981, at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec in front of 52,487 fans. The 1981 Grey Cup game is considered to be one of the ten best Grey Cup games of all time.[1] CFL football fans saw an unexpectedly exciting game, as the 22.5 point underdog Ottawa Rough Riders, sporting a woeful record of 5–11 (the worst record in league history by any Grey Cup finalist team), came within three seconds of beating the Edmonton Eskimos, who had won the championship the last three straight years. The Eskimos, with a 14–1–1 record, were almost the victims of what would have been the biggest upset in the history of the Grey Cup. With the win, the Eskimos became the first team in league history to win the Grey Cup four consecutive times."
  4. Anyone else terribly upset that in the three years since the Bengals went to the Super Bowl and were set to be the AFC co-chairs with the Chiefs they have gone… 34-28, overall; 13-16, the last two years; and are set to miss the playoffs for the second straight year? Yep, didn’t think so.
  5. I couldn’t agree more. It is a nice relief pitcher coming in. He may start and come out, but also don’t want to screw Williams if he is the real starter and whether that matters on his contract. All that aside, if Milano gets a turnover or a sack I really think I am going to lose my **** and my neighbors might end up calling the police because of how loud I’d be.
  6. I like that, Chan…a lot. I’ll go with you on that one, Sir.
  7. Pay your tribute to the one you see fit, Chan. I’ll take care of mine and my own counsel I’ll keep on who that is. …and that isn’t to a team we’ve beaten 4 out of the last 6, three in their barn and our last loss coming with guys playing for us who were in street clothes days before. I’ll be afraid of the monster that scares me, not the one that doesn’t and they certainly don’t regardless of their title.
  8. not even remotely close, because I though the same about the ‘23 Eagles as I do now about the ‘24 Chiefs, which was thr point. The clue in, or at least part of it, was in the Bills lost to them…they were a team that was winning games, but was imminently beatable and not a lot of there there. Kind of the point. Anyone seeing there there with this Chiefs team, this fall ass backwards into 11-1 Chiefs team, shouldn’t be betting on anything.
  9. Amen, brother. BTW, Cap, that isn’t saying they won’t or can’t win. However, they are simply and truly right now just a record. Nothing screams championship about this team, at all. …and people can do all the football yoga talking points they want, but nothing is going to change that.
  10. Completely agree, eball. BTW, if the Bills roll into the playoffs against them and it is in Buffalo, BUT the Bills are down (hypothetically here) Milano, Bernard, Benford, Oliver, Kincaid, Cooper in a bigger cast, Coleman, Shakir, Dawkins…yeah, I’m not holding my breathe on a Bills victory. I’m a fan, but I’m a realists. I thought many of us underplayed how banged up we were in that playoff game.
  11. Welcome to th club, Fitzy. Someone on this Board has been comparing them to the ‘23 Eagles for a couple of months. Who is that now? 🤔
  12. 😂😂😂 Like Mahomes is a thing this year. i’m more worried about being carried away by army ants than I am over the bills facing the Mahomes led Chiefs again in the playoffs. That lion has no teeth…that emperor has no clothes anymore. The Bills are just waiting with the fork.
  13. The ‘23 Eagles won again yesterday and are on their way to finishing out doing nothing this year. …and it is not going to be pretty or delightful for them when they fall later this season. it is going to be bitter and ugly and I am so here for it. This is just them climbing higher on the ladder. I will so very much enjoy the “SPLAT!”
  14. Hap, I love ya man, but holy mackerel that is epically and generationally soul crushing to a fan base, especially against a division opponent. i think even the admin would be willing to take the hit. That was simply a terrible loss for an organization.
  15. That really just happened. On the planet earth in the year of our lord 2024 a remarkable instance of universal stupidity occurred and even though I have no horse in this race I am actually mad over it.
  16. I absolutely can’t believe I just saw that. i can’t. My mind doesn’t work that way. Whose does?!
  17. Utterly un****ing believable. almost like an intentional dive. Holy ****
  18. Here's something crazy, how about 2 Thursday night games? A 6:30 start for early bird and 9 (or 9:15) start for the Broncos - Chargers. Just a little bit more of an extreme change on times than we've seen with two game weeknights previously to get as much viewing in to each game. No way if the kickoff for the original game was 8:15 that everybody is not going to already be there at 6:30, or at least most of the people.
  19. They play for Winston and he plays for them.
  20. I know we love to dig on the Dolphins and Tua, but honesty if he doesn't get hurt I think they are at worst 5-5, but likely 6-4. Would they be challenging us? No. However, they would be in a playoff spot right now. They are not a great team and they certainly don't have good things coming up on the horizon, but I still think Tua has some talent and leadership, and some skill at some spots. They are going to be "fine" with Tua, but they just won't break through.
  21. I’ve had it as the hopefully last loss for a few weeks now. I also was of the mindset that even though the Chiefs were undefeated at the time, 14-3 should be enough to do it with a victory over KC. Nothing has changed. This chiefs team going 5-2 checks out.
  22. Sojo, I am a self admitted and self diagnosed Bengals Fear Bunker Guy. Yeah, they look bad...good, I don't want anything to do with them. Not. One. Thing.
  23. Shakir, Cooper, Coleman and now Samuel. Bad things, man…that is some pretty bad things for opposing Ds. Mack Hollins: “Sorry, I was busy showing people how to change the oil on a lawn mower. I make some plays, too.” You do, buddy, you absolutely do. That’s why we love the five of you.
