Agreed...holy cow, he was also a whole lot better for us than Painter was for the Colts yesterday. On a side note; I am quite sure the Colts are going to come in here next week and beat us, starters or not, and if they should go on and win the Super Bowl at 18-1 I want to see an HONEST response from them on why they whipped out there business and decided to pi** right into history's eye yesterday against the Jets. Not this, "well we could have gotten hurt, what if Manning went down in the 2nd half, where would we be?" You should never be afraid to play this game or realize your place in history. Sit your guys if you've locked up you spot and are 12-2, even 13-1...not when there is serious potential for your players, your organization and your fans to be able to say..."We are the only 19-0 team in football history."

He won't.

Mike Zimmer For Head Coach

Thank you, BB. I was thinking about him not only since we started interviewing Shanny, but all the way back to being impressed by him while watching "Hard Knocks" on HBO. -
Revenue sharing is history in the NFL

I agree, Darth, but how can they do this when a majority of the teams fall in the other category? I do they get a majority, or I believe their super majority of 24 teams in this instance, to agree on something like this? -

RIP Stefanie Spielman

Mine too, bro. Those of us who have gone through it have deep, deep sympathies for those experiencing it now. ...And for those who have not gone through it, we pray that you never have to experience it. My prayers go out to the Spielman family and all those families in pain dealing with this dreaded disease. -
I actually like Jimmy Johnson. However, he will not come North of the Mason Dixon Line. Seriously; too cold here for him regardless of how much you pay him.

When brought up to speed on the Bills' tackle problems iconic literary character Charlie Brown responded, "Good Grief!" -
Man, Thoner, please don't. I hear you completely, especially with Ngata. How...HOW did we not take that guy? Who...WHO valued Whitner more than him in that draft besides us?

Seriously, I'm thinking we move up to 8th. I truly see us getting passed by Tennessee (probably as soon as this week), San Fran and Seattle. I don't see the first 7 teams sliding, rather, i don't see them being more successful than us the rest of the season. 5-11 for us, with those other three I mentioned getting, at the very least, 6 wins each.

Chad Ochocinco Up To His Old Tricks
dollars 2 donuts replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, SD, I watched the first game between these two earlier this year. They took every shot they could at Ocho. I believe they got 2 unnecessary roughness penalties (possibly 3) and Chad got up, every single time without hesitation. I thought he made them look bad and weak. This should be real good. -
As long as Ralph doesn't have Chuck Knox, Marv Levy, Lou Saban coaching, or Jack Kemp, Joe Ferguson, Jim Kelly, Doug Flutie, Elbert Dubinion, Booker Edgerson, Cookie Gilchrist, Tom Sestak, Fred Smerlas, Joe Cribs, Thurman Thomas, James Loften, Andre Reed, Frank Lewis, Jerry Butler, Wil Wolford, House Ballard, and insert most starters from 63-68, 80-82, 88-93, 98-99, as well as Bill Polian... ...yes, we are going to suck. One more thing; he has to pop back into the Way-Back Machine with Mr. Peabody and knock about 30 years off his age, b/c I very much doubt a 91 year old can think dynamically enough in this day and age in the NFL. Sorry for the Ageism.

Agreed, I mean I know what the OP is getting at here, but come on. If you blow this team up there are probably 12 or more guys you are DEFINITELY keeping around and then it gets gray. Randomly: Hangartner Wood Levitre Jackson Evans Byrd Poz Butler Lynch (sorry for some of you, but yes) Schoebel Palmer Florence Williams Stroud McGee ...and i am probably missing a couple.

Good point SB12. Not to make excuses on how other players have handled big rookie contracts (Mike Williams), but this "practice squad" guy could come in start and possibly be able to turn around his fortunes in a short time and be able ask for millions which could be great, GREAT motivation for the soul.

I am with you, John; I believe (hope) that D. Bell can make some strides in the off-season, so I am honestly willing to stand pat on him. Up until yesterday, I seriously would have take a look at how cheaply we could get Smith away from San Francisco... ...yeah, that's not happening now. SO much for me being ahead of the curve.

I'll third that, after Dr. Dankenstein's 2d, above.

Yes, and he was in sort of demand but ended up taking less money to play for the Jets which was more like the scheme he played in Baltimore, and wanted to avoid being "miscast" as he was at the end of his Bills tenure. *with a very bad church lady voice* Great Baltimore defense and great Jets defense, but not so good in Buffalo... hmmmm....could it be....COACHING!!!!!!

Guaranteed pain relief for bills fans.
dollars 2 donuts replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For a few years I've liked the Bengals...Thank heavens their season has been awesome so far. I've caught every game on the Sunday ticket, and seriously, I've been watching less and less bills, just DVRing them. In the NFC, ever since the Bills lost to the G-men in 2007 I just love them. I can't explain it. I just like that team; the way its built, who plays there, how there coached, the way they play. ...and when they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl...
