  1. Love it, love it, love it! Thank you KRC. One question, though, and forgive me if I missed it in the article; where (or whereabouts) was the game played?
  2. I completely agree, BNP. I am more than willing to give up a draft pick for him now rather than give up an offensive weapon...and yes, Parrish still is an offensive weapon. 4th or 5th rounder is probably his true value, but 3rd should do it to loosen up a now back-up like him without any current player compensation.
  3. THIS ONE'S FOR THE LOOPER!!!!!
  4. It sucks because you are pretty much right on. Man, Bills, please just get to the quarter turn at 2-2!
  5. I'm absolutely right there with you, MRW. Someone please tell me whether you thought we had a great number of 3 and outs last year and whether they helped our defense by huddling up. While you are at it tell me what opposing defenses we played saw us huddle up and said to their sideline, "we don't need anybody, we're good, keep the guys on the sideline."
  6. Agreed, which is why I want to know why we are not getting into the Derrick Brooks derby, as well.
  7. Obviously, in the weeks leading up to the season, I was thinking 5-11, but I just think it is impossible (knock on wood) for us to not win at least 3 games in the first half, and like you said, I can see 4-4 easily. Throw in only 3 truly problematic games in the second half (Tenn, Jack - hey, they are tough down there and played well against the boys, Atlanta), hope that Indie has nothing to play for, and that puts 4-5 games at least in play, in my opinion.
  8. SDS, I hear ya, but I'll tell ya we've waited so long to a complimentary back system (going back to Davis and Thurman) and we have NO BACK-UPS after these two that I think you hurt yourself greatly through subtraction. Both guys can run, both can catch. I know there is only one ball, but we really do need both guys, almost as much as we need help in other positions.
  9. Hey, nucci, at least it is not as bad as that time Joe Danelo missed that FG wide left in Super Bowl XXVII against the Giants. ...that sucked.
  10. And I am glad the Bills respected him enough to essentially say, "we appreciate you and here's seven figures a year." It was important to sign that guy and keep him happy.
  11. Oh, how wrong you are Joe; we go 10-6 and Jauron gets offered the newly vacated Notre Dame job, Gruden becomes HC and AVP stays at OC. Man, you guys, you should see the colors in my world!
  12. DarthICE, I was furious last night and my new name could be Capt. Pessimism...but, if we get to 1-4 after five games, then I'll let my emotions sink...just not yet, though.
  13. BTW, dare I hijack my own thread (oh who am I kidding, it's "our" thread ) and go to the second half, but I'm thinking 4-4 there...so, 10-6 maybe, 9-7 fine (hey-hey, we're winners!) or 8-8.
  14. Yeah, Fingon, I could live that too, and I see that as a strong possibility.
  15. @New England - L Tampa - W Saints - W (this is truly the one that worries me) @Miami - W Cleveland - W @ Jets - L @ Panthers - W Houston - W - at worst, I think we are 4-4 at the break (Saints, Panthers - if Jake turns it around) Yes, I was ready to be the pessimist today...but what the hell.
  16. I agree with and unfortunately remember all the points made in this thread. However, nothing was more appropriate than BB5's.
  17. Sorry, faith, I really was just kidding. I don't know why he's here.
  18. I have to pat myself on the back: three straight posts with absolutely nothing worthwhile or serious to say. Gentlemen, my brain has gone to mush.
  19. Umm, excuse me, what do you think we have Chuck Lester for?
  20. Hey, when you get a bad haircut you buy a hat.
  21. If it wasn't for the sped up clock in my Madden 10 game last night I would have been getting plays off in 10-15 seconds. Sure, I lost to my buddy, playing as the Steelers at Heinze field, but Trent was able to move the ball for me and at least I put up 34 points...lost 34-35 trying for a two pointer with 22 seconds left. Go for the win, baby! If I can do it, the Bills most certainly can do it. And that, gents, is how you interject your own pathetic life into the bigger story of the day.
  22. Caine Mutiny, and yes, a good point.
  23. OK, I did not think I was going to get trumped.
  24. So says you, murra. The way I'm hearing it is that he was fired weeks ago, but the bills paid him extra to look like he was the OC. Sneaky, bast***s, Bellichek has nothing on these guys.
  25. Is Kelsey still on the team?
