  1. Who wins every place that he goes? Who wouldn't be too demanding (money wise, and to some degree, control wise) at this stage of his career? Who loves teaching the game? Who would Ralph Trust? Who has history here? ...Schotzy. It has to be be Shottenheimer.
  2. we need beast mode, b/c having the leagues 4th leader rusher and 2nd overall in nonQB yards from scrimmage in Jackson just isn't quite cutting it.
  3. Where have you gone Mr. Rusty Jones, weary Bills fans turn the eyes to youuuuuu, ooo-ooo-oooooooooo Alright, enough singing. BG512...I agree with you, wholeheartedly. And I know you can't predict injuries, but man, the three plus years under this guy have resulted in a grueling amount of injuries and a team that gets tired in the 4th qtr...and not b/c of the no-huddle.
  4. I hear ya, but then take a look at our track record against Miami back-ups. Or at the very least, our record against Miami back-up QBs when we have a 20 point lead in the 2nd half. This team can make you sober.
  5. Seriously, EB, i thought the exact same thing while watching it.
  6. Not for nothing, but man I miss London Fletcher. I know he's older, I know he was slowing down even when he left here, but damn if that guys not out there still playing his butt off. I just think that would rub a lot of the youngsters the right way.
  7. I know, bbillsfan87, but i think mostly people around here that are critical of him are concerned where he makes those takles (ie, downfield) and also his problems in pass coverage. I am not a hater and like that he is making tackles...but i would not have minded an upgrade somewhere along the (time) line.

  9. How badly did I want those guys suspended? Thanks Goodell!
  10. Very good points, SG. I love Lofton, but many of us seem to forget in his best year here I believe he only caught about 53 balls. he was a deep threat, but I am not sure how consistent a threat he was. BTW, you know what variable I just realized which I hadn't considered...Jim Kelly...wow, can you imagine Jim Kelly in his prime throwing to T.O. ...I have to go sit down now.
  11. hmmmm, be careful, SGBF, you could be right about No. 1 but remember, it is 35 year old T.O., not Hall of Famer T.O. In other words, does he still start at 35 years old over a later 20s Adre Reed and a 32-34 year old Jame Lofton? I don't know, I'm just asking.
  12. Scott is young, but he has seen action in 22 NFL games (according to WGR this morning), also we have a veteran in Hangartner and a couple of very eager-to-knock-some-heads rookies that seem like they don't really need an inspirational leader as much as they just need someone to point them in the right direction so they can go kick butt.
  13. Yeah, that's about right.
  14. Although I highly doubt it will get that contentious I am also of the mindset that if he finishes among the top 10 QBs, including 3500 yards and 24 tds, it is very unlikely he will even go into next season without an extension, maybe even spurred on by the Bills. BTW, that doesn't mean he gets a 6 year, 60 million dollar deal. personally, I'm thinking it will be a 5 year, 30 million dollar deal, with incentives. Again, just a guess.
  15. There are great, great football fans...in San Antonio. They are small (obviously not smaller than Buffalo) but they have a passion for football. It would have worked out just fine for the NFL and the franchise if the Saints had stayed there after Katrina. ...Sorry, it's just the truth.
  16. Hey, I am worried, as well, but isn't the general feeling we're getting from the players and coaches that Walker was, if not a cancer on the team, a whinny distraction?
  17. Also, Fred Jackson is 2nd in the League (behind Chris Johnson) in non-QB yards from scrimmage (164 yards per game). Seriously, how much do we love that guy?
  18. This. Man, I very much could have live with 2-1 after 3 games, even if it meant starting out 2-0 and losing a home game to a very, very explosive Saints team.
  19. I know, I know, Dude, it suckd sooooooooooooo baddddddd. The G fans were going crazy...please!
  20. That's the question and I think that might be the reason why we haven't made a move. DiGiorio wasn't great, but he was solid when in there. Buggs, man, I don't know...literally, I don'tknow anything about him, sorry for being the bad fan in not knowing.
  21. Forgive me, silvermike, but I am very envious of you, possibly even jealous. I have mentioned this anomaly on numerous occasions with absolutely no comment from anybody. I am loser. Probably for other reasons but especially for this.
  22. Harkin, thank you for being the only other person I know to experience that feeling. I was there, too, I was in the upper bowl section, at the other end of the field, looking at it from the right side and for a moment, we had won SB25, b/c I swear it looked good. I saw the refs walking forward about to throw their hands up in the air and then sank when they gave the 'no good' signal.
  23. KRC, please, please let us know when you have updates. Also, feel free to consider me the first purchaser. Oh, and keep up the damn good work you guys have been doing!
  24. OK, OK, Dante, so forgive me for quoting from the 2nd movie earlier in this thread and referencing Jimmy Lupis!!
  25. That's what I wanted. Thank you, KRC. One of the things I love about reading the 100 years of Buffalo baseball book a few years ago was hearing about the long since gone stadiums and what it must have been like to be in Buffalo in its true heyday.
