  1. Yeah, that's about right.
  2. Although I highly doubt it will get that contentious I am also of the mindset that if he finishes among the top 10 QBs, including 3500 yards and 24 tds, it is very unlikely he will even go into next season without an extension, maybe even spurred on by the Bills. BTW, that doesn't mean he gets a 6 year, 60 million dollar deal. personally, I'm thinking it will be a 5 year, 30 million dollar deal, with incentives. Again, just a guess.
  3. There are great, great football fans...in San Antonio. They are small (obviously not smaller than Buffalo) but they have a passion for football. It would have worked out just fine for the NFL and the franchise if the Saints had stayed there after Katrina. ...Sorry, it's just the truth.
  4. Hey, I am worried, as well, but isn't the general feeling we're getting from the players and coaches that Walker was, if not a cancer on the team, a whinny distraction?
  5. Also, Fred Jackson is 2nd in the League (behind Chris Johnson) in non-QB yards from scrimmage (164 yards per game). Seriously, how much do we love that guy?
  6. This. Man, I very much could have live with 2-1 after 3 games, even if it meant starting out 2-0 and losing a home game to a very, very explosive Saints team.
  7. I know, I know, Dude, it suckd sooooooooooooo baddddddd. The G fans were going crazy...please!
  8. That's the question and I think that might be the reason why we haven't made a move. DiGiorio wasn't great, but he was solid when in there. Buggs, man, I don't know...literally, I don'tknow anything about him, sorry for being the bad fan in not knowing.
  9. Forgive me, silvermike, but I am very envious of you, possibly even jealous. I have mentioned this anomaly on numerous occasions with absolutely no comment from anybody. I am loser. Probably for other reasons but especially for this.
  10. Harkin, thank you for being the only other person I know to experience that feeling. I was there, too, I was in the upper bowl section, at the other end of the field, looking at it from the right side and for a moment, we had won SB25, b/c I swear it looked good. I saw the refs walking forward about to throw their hands up in the air and then sank when they gave the 'no good' signal.
  11. KRC, please, please let us know when you have updates. Also, feel free to consider me the first purchaser. Oh, and keep up the damn good work you guys have been doing!
  12. OK, OK, Dante, so forgive me for quoting from the 2nd movie earlier in this thread and referencing Jimmy Lupis!!
  13. That's what I wanted. Thank you, KRC. One of the things I love about reading the 100 years of Buffalo baseball book a few years ago was hearing about the long since gone stadiums and what it must have been like to be in Buffalo in its true heyday.
  14. Love it, love it, love it! Thank you KRC. One question, though, and forgive me if I missed it in the article; where (or whereabouts) was the game played?
  15. I completely agree, BNP. I am more than willing to give up a draft pick for him now rather than give up an offensive weapon...and yes, Parrish still is an offensive weapon. 4th or 5th rounder is probably his true value, but 3rd should do it to loosen up a now back-up like him without any current player compensation.
  16. THIS ONE'S FOR THE LOOPER!!!!!
  17. It sucks because you are pretty much right on. Man, Bills, please just get to the quarter turn at 2-2!
  18. I'm absolutely right there with you, MRW. Someone please tell me whether you thought we had a great number of 3 and outs last year and whether they helped our defense by huddling up. While you are at it tell me what opposing defenses we played saw us huddle up and said to their sideline, "we don't need anybody, we're good, keep the guys on the sideline."
  19. Agreed, which is why I want to know why we are not getting into the Derrick Brooks derby, as well.
  20. Obviously, in the weeks leading up to the season, I was thinking 5-11, but I just think it is impossible (knock on wood) for us to not win at least 3 games in the first half, and like you said, I can see 4-4 easily. Throw in only 3 truly problematic games in the second half (Tenn, Jack - hey, they are tough down there and played well against the boys, Atlanta), hope that Indie has nothing to play for, and that puts 4-5 games at least in play, in my opinion.
  21. SDS, I hear ya, but I'll tell ya we've waited so long to a complimentary back system (going back to Davis and Thurman) and we have NO BACK-UPS after these two that I think you hurt yourself greatly through subtraction. Both guys can run, both can catch. I know there is only one ball, but we really do need both guys, almost as much as we need help in other positions.
  22. Hey, nucci, at least it is not as bad as that time Joe Danelo missed that FG wide left in Super Bowl XXVII against the Giants. ...that sucked.
  23. And I am glad the Bills respected him enough to essentially say, "we appreciate you and here's seven figures a year." It was important to sign that guy and keep him happy.
  24. Oh, how wrong you are Joe; we go 10-6 and Jauron gets offered the newly vacated Notre Dame job, Gruden becomes HC and AVP stays at OC. Man, you guys, you should see the colors in my world!
  25. DarthICE, I was furious last night and my new name could be Capt. Pessimism...but, if we get to 1-4 after five games, then I'll let my emotions sink...just not yet, though.
