  1. Well thought out and great post, SJBF. I Love the Bills and will root like mad for them and I am not necessarily disagreeing with your logic. However, in my head I look at the five teams above and I just can't, I mean just can't imagine us being better then anyone of them next year. Yeah, I love the bills, but I'm thinking they will pick 4th or 5th.
  2. True. Good point Alphadawg7. However, although I hate the Dolphins, I would be curious to see how things would have been for Quinn if the Dolphins drafted him.
  3. His father should have let him eat burgers as a kid.
  4. Although money wise the deal would be good for a couple of years there are definitely issues with respect to motivation and health lately with Haynesworth, add that to the trouble he seems to get into (more so on the field) and the fact that he wants nothing to do with a 3-4 defense and that all but rules him out.
  5. So in trade ends one of the more baffling draft picks by a team in the last few years.
  6. About as far off as Phylis Diller is from being a PoA. badum-bump! For you younger members of the board who are lost please feel free to google Ms. Diller.
  7. +1 on this thread. Because the discussion back and forth seems decent, respectful, short and to the point and well thought out. Normally don't we hate that?
  8. Stl Bills, I hear ya, man, and especially in the 5th, but wow, 3 knee surgeries, that does scare me. I don't think it is too much of risk but I do think you can usually get good LB depth in the 4th or 5th round, which, even as badly as you think the bills have drafted in recent years it has been the round of success for some of their LBs. EDIT: Just read his bio. Yeah, I'm sold let's get him and consider ourselves lucky.
  9. Yeah, AD, and throw on top of that we are the only home team in the Eastern Conference to win their first game. 1 down, 15 to go.
  10. Did you guys also check out Dan Van Wie's slide article at the bottom. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/377648-...e-draft-version Sure it states some of the obvious, but it was pretty darn good. If anyone needs a refresher on what's going on with the Bills (great, I can almost hear the sarcasm coming ) it is 5 minutes full of "worth it".
  11. I am not saying that Nolan made a silk purse out of a sows ear with that Broncos defense, but he came close. That is a big loss for him and I hate the fact we (seemingly) just missed out on him as our DC.
  12. You forgot: 7. Hope that 70 is the new 50 for football guys.
  13. OK, I see your point. BUT, as far as the Sit-and-Do-Nothingers in this League, we are probably the best at it. So...at least there's that.
  14. DING! DING! DING! DING! The Knocks on this guy that some have made were ridiculous.
  15. But generally, as a policy on TBD, we're against murdering wives, right?
  16. You know all this guy had to do, the ONLY thing he had to do was not kill his wife. Honestly; he had cash, opportunities on TV, businesses (I think he co-owned a couple of Popeyes). How great a life he could have been having in his 60s if he could have just heeded that small bit of advice?
  17. Yeah, there's a cure for that. Can someone pull-up the Speedo picture again? Seriously though, Marauder, I think our time with Clausen came and went as of his pro-day. I think one team may pass on him before us, but not all three (Cleveland, Seattle, Oakland...hell, possibly 4 if you consider KC).
  18. I just threw-up a little bit in my mouth.
  19. Lv, that was some good stuff. Thank you my man.
  20. Great comments, guys. I'll miss going to Bagel's this year (well, I missed it last year, as well) to watch the draft...you all would have loved it; draft guides all over the floor, pizza to be eaten, interviews to go through, movies in between picks and back yard quarterbacking achieved with his two young sons playing D-Lineman...yeah, there was a lot of passing.
  21. We're not going to the Super Bowl. Given our history of draft's lately I'm still worried about us even picking a difference maker in the first round. That being said, why am I still on the edge of my seat? Why am I getting excited about Jimmy Clausen, Buluga (spelling, sorry), CJ Spiller, Williams, Tebow, Cody, Campbell or Gaither in a trade or the new Daisy Red Rider Pump Action BB Gun that I could shoot my eye out with?! Why am I already planning my Thursday April 22nd a week in advance? Why is logging online not good enough? Why do I want to run to the store and buy every draft guide on the shelf? Why am I skeptical about everything I hear all year long by learned people, until I've investigated it myself, but in April, if Betty White is going to be on the NFL Network to talk about Golden Tate I have to program it into my DVR? Man, I don't know whether to embrace this addiction or go for an intervention. sigh OK, I DO know...now give me a big hug and lets go Bills!!
  22. Solid, solid, solid points, Ronnie. Nicely done, buddy. Thank you.
  23. You made my day, PTR. Thank you!
  24. Man, i don't like to be this guy, but i'll go there. the biggest problem may be his impending senility and i don't mean it as a joke.
