  1. You are right, K Gun, but I think they do it with the first rounders or high draft picks just to throw a bone out there. Hell, Spike TV had the EA Sports preview just before the draft so there is some logic there.
  2. I'm with ya, Sawchuk, I mean the off season did not end on April 24th. The Bills can also hold onto Lynch for awhile (until he becomes a noticeable problem due to absenteeism). You are not going to get a lot for him but I think a 5th to 7th rounder would have been just too little.
  3. Alright, Baby Joe, I'll take that but Madden better do a better job of updating there rankings this season. I don't want to see him with 375 yards after 4 weeks (knock on wood) with that same 79 rating.
  4. At the absolute worst he makes the practice squad. However, as I have previously stated I don't think he stays there long whether it's the Bills or someone else that call him up. Training camp fodder? Well, I'm willing to bet that before the upcoming preseason is over this "training camp fodder" makes at least 10 grabs for 150 yards and a couple of TDs.
  5. r00ta, I don't understand, all those high marks and his overall ranking is a 79? Even though he is a rookie he was the top RB in the draft, no way he isn't at least a 90.
  6. What a coincidence, a saw Roosevelt play quite a few times and i was thinking the same thing. Watching guys from small schools get drafted all weekend long is making me tired of defending a MAC guy for catching ONLY 268 balls and almost 30 tds. This isn't a comment on you, Max997, i mean no offense, i just happen to be stating it in this post. I don't know if Roosevelt will make the team this year, but i know he will make the practice squad and stay for later or get picked up by someone. Sometimes, numbers just don't lie.
  7. Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!!
  8. I rationalize it one way; if we get a touchdown, or multiple tds (please) on opening day i guarantee that at least one of them will be scored by spiller & on this bills team that looks at scoring points the same way i look at Margaret Cho being a comedian, that's saying a lot.
  9. Yeah, seriously, they lost me here. And they had that pick in pronto after Oakland's.
  10. Well, you guys know my feelings on him, or more so, Roosevelt: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...111202&st=0
  11. MClem, I think you're missing Levi from Troy, as well. I don't hate Pike and I don't hate Skelton.
  12. didn't want to get my hopes up, but i am pleased as hell. I love this kid.
  13. BF89, I hated the QB Vision Cone, but I agree in bringing it back, as long as it is optional, ONLY.
  14. I'll admit it; I am really, really starting get jazzed!
  15. CD, I just wanted to be sure someone was paying attention and caught it.
  16. This kid can flat out play. He can catch a bb at midnight with the lights off. He won't kill his wife with an acetylene torch. He's got quicks.
  17. Man, coldstorage5, look at you being all up on your thread. Good info and good update there. Thank you my friend, and by the way I did not mention this before but this a great thread. Amazing some of the gaffs that this team has made in its history.
  18. Yeah, after all we've listen to this off season I think it is just plain going to be this, or whoever the best offensive tackle is on the board.
  19. Let me finish one of your thoughts, Wannabe: 'We should have traded up to get...Bradford. Why didn't we?!"
  20. Yeah, I honestly have absolutely no memory of ESPN EVER being in the Bills war room.
  21. I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if it was added later, but my God how is Booker Moore, 1982 1st round draft pick from Penn St. who didn't play his first year due to a nerve disorder and I don't think even gained 1,000 yards during his CAREER as a Bills back, not on this list?
  22. Or that it will just run long. Seriously, as much as this is a big deal to the NFL and even though it is ESPN it is still primetime. This thing could legitimately go 5 hours and 2o minutes if everyone uses their full time, and if it had been 15 minutes like in years past, whoa, we are talking potentially 8 hours.
  23. Bizarro Superman would realize the mistake and take his Bills team home.
  24. agreed, plus home 4 pm games (a few of them last season) killed the Sunday ticket for me.
  25. Damn Jaguars. "Oh, we're not gonna get a receiver or whatever the hell it is we need if we trade with the Bills" Considering we were talking 2 or 3 spots their guy definitely would have been there.
