Thank you, both. I honestly did not know and appreciate it. ...so let me add...that is cool, too. In general I've been pretty OK with the offseason.
-
Cool, like him a lot, great news. Unrelated here, but our punter was only on a one year deal, right? Anything on him? Sorry, I have been out of the loop.
-
I do remember him and I was a fan, as I was of all those guys on the 78-82 Knox Era teams. They were all my heroes as a boy. I am gray and old and bald now. He passes at 72 and I have sadness over it, because I still see him, and all of them, through the eyes of that small boy as they were then...and as I was. The almost tears in my eyes are for the both of us. RIP, Sir.

Taylor Rapp Signing with Bills
dollars 2 donuts replied to hellofellowbillsfans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think it is a stupid question, Warrior, to bring up possibilities outside the norm of what they are thinking about here above and beyond some of these guys just being safeties. No, I don't think they should reinvent the wheel with a safety/LB hybrid, but there seems to be a little bit more of their thinking with this other than just signing a guy. ...or...really maybe it is just that...kicking the tires to see if he could turn into even half the player that Hyde and Poyer are. -
Jamison Crowder Signs with the Giants
dollars 2 donuts replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe Crowder was paid $333,000 and some change per reception here in 2022. I wish him the best, but this just really didn't work out due to the injury. Good luck with the Giants. I'm kind of 100% sure things will work out well for both team and player on this one in 2023. Dang, I like what the Giants have been doing. -
Stuck on how to emoji this. I had thumbs down, but that was for the signing. I changed to thank you to you because I agree with your "why?" Spotrac figured him at about 8.5 million. I don't agree with the signing, either way. Are you s****ing me that this is a concern for this team right now?! A STer and iMck replacement?! Waiting for the "Beane knows more than you" group so I can fart in your general direction. Coincidentally, I am loading up on beans for ammo. I couldn't care less what they know as I generally have not been pleased with their drafting and FAs for the last couple of years. Yes, even the Von Miller signing. I'll be thrilled when he makes it to the post season for us, and our whole defensive philosophy isn't dependent upon a 33-34 year old playing. That's it. Lunch!

Am I to assume then that we have enough to lock Bobby Hart up? Asking for a friend.* (* My friend may or may not be Bobby Hart)

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
dollars 2 donuts replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right! It stinks, Dr., when you sign an older guy for more than 100 million dollars (per year, what? I don't know, let's say $19 million - $21 million, no, how about $19.75 mill to $20.25 mill, somewhere around there jsut for an example) and then he isn't even healthy enough to play. I feel bad for those teams. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract

As I live and breath, guys, I knew this as many of you likely did, as well. I just could not see Stafford back with the Rams even before he got injured, but the injury didn't help. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract

Sober and well thought out, RK. Now go **** yourself. 😂🤣 I'm just kidding, brother, you know that. Seriously, I couldn't agree more. Man, am I one of the few people who really likes Jackson, both as a player and a person, and would be happy to see him get whatever he can get? -
Aaron Rodgers talking with the Jets
dollars 2 donuts replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with you, O, but I also think they can work on it. I just can't help it. I like their young receivers, love their RB, and their D is nasty. I don't think this is a bad move for any of the three, (Rodgers, Jets, Pack) involved. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
dollars 2 donuts replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
THREE things can be true. 1) He is twice the QB Watson is. 2) Baltimore should absolutely not give him the contract he is asking for. 3) I want that money so badly. Even some of it. Oh please, please, please, please, please, please. -
You get one player this offseason…who is it?
dollars 2 donuts replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
Boy, I am sorry I don't have anyone in mind...but just a good, reasonably aged Olinemen that is plug and play. A real, live plug and play and not a, "YES, he's awesome, we sure...oh wait...wow...eww...ok...well," player. -
Predicting where the QB's end up for 2023
dollars 2 donuts replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am no being sarcastic...nothing with respect to the Rams and a 35 year old Matt Stafford coming off an injury? They are staying put...not even drafting ( and yes I know they have no picks, but that is also my point)? -
Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stamp, Amen. How many times do we have to say this? Why is this even a point of contention with anybody on this subject?! Scratch out any dates. The years don't matter. The stat reference should essentially be in any given year, "Josh Allen, QB. Thousand yard receivers: Stephon Diggs and ____________." -
Matt Araiza, The Punt God, Signs With Team in Mexico
dollars 2 donuts replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
The actions of him, chargeable or not, provable to the degree that they were explained or not, we’re terrible, either way. The thing is what was the big picture? …we were all, including the Bills, listening to and literally doing determinations and making decisions by the soap boxing of attorneys….zealous advocates on behalf of their client. (paraphrasing what was expressed): we didn’t want any of this we wanted this settled we tried to talk to the bills our hands were forced all we wanted was an apology -

Turk, I absolutely hear you, brother, and that is part of the point. -
Poor Giants and their fans. Those 60-75 (or even more) receptions are going to be a noose around their necks. A panic decision by them at $870,000. I know, I know, I know. I'll apologize now. "We had so many good receiver in front of him," "if he were that good he would have proved it on the field," "he couldn't block or play special teams," "yada, yada, yada." "They Bills know way more than us, and we are just stupid plebes." "Don't question The Process." "They've been here since 2017 and you've only been following the team for half century." "You are going to die without seeing them ever win a Super Bowl and that is completely OK." "We Jack***es coming in with 🙄 emojis in response to this post have it all together and know how wrong you are, because even though what you are saying actually happened and is frustrating, the contrary result is better for us in the long run because [insert stupid reason here]." "I would take you more seriously if you didn't [insert grammar or punctuation error here]." "Eat at Joe's, because the chili really isn't that bad." "The best thing we could have ever done was get Lamonica off this team." OK, OK, there...are we good? I will eat at Joe's.

Matt Araiza, The Punt God, Signs With Team in Mexico
dollars 2 donuts replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Blank Stare, it was definitely a scummy situation by him and a crime if the young woman and her attorneys are to be believed. HOWEVER, everything we saw in the lead up to him being cut. Everything made it seem like that at the very least this guy was getting charged with something. Crazy that he wasn't. A friend of mine stated the obvious, "well it is tough to prove," and I don't disagree. ...but man, the guy didn't even get charged. What does that say about either what we were told, who was telling it, and how the guy was deemed guilty before even getting out of the gate? What was definitely on him is that something was up and he knew about it at the time of the draft and should he should have been forward about it with teams (I believe...I could be wrong, that a continuing investigation was taking place...please correct me if I am wrong). Did the Bills know? Should they have known? Man...
