  1. ...to keep those less fortunate than you in your thoughts and prayers and to give a hug to all those in your life who pronounce car keys "khakis."
  2. Interesting, khlax. Interesting. hmmm.
  3. "The ______'s got their man!" "He was the number 1 guy on our board." "We can't wait to get him in here." "He is pretty much over [knee and femur replacement surgery] and our medical team says he is good to go." "I remove their skin and wear it like a human suit." Sorry on that last one, wrong "Buffalo Bill."
  4. Within 4 hours prior to the draft, almost every single radio and tv station that covers the NFL in this country will have someone on their broadcast say, "If __________ is still on the board when [any team]'s pick comes up, let me tell ya you are going to see [any team's draft rep] [RUN UP/FLY UP/SPRINT UP] to the podium to make that pick!"
  5. I will turn on the tv probably two hours in. I am not so big into what everyone else is doing and watching guys who I would like to see in a Bills uniform drop off the board.
  6. newcam, even if he has the exact same season this year that he had last year somebody is going to offer him no less...no less than 10 million per, for 3-5 years. However, likely even more. I agree with you completely. No way. Time to move on.
  7. Now THAT, my friend, would have been a nice miracle! 😂 We all knew who you meant. ✌️
  8. SUNY, please know this first and foremost. I commented about the comment or statement. Please do not perceive it at all (and I don't believe you have, but I just want to get it out there) that I was judging your faith. THAT is way, way above my pay grade. However, my comment was more about how Josh views his faith, or the way he sees the world, or the messages or cues he takes from it. Which I also stand by my point made in the combined posts above about it. I do not believe it to be a weakness, as was stated in your original post. You are 100% correct about the fact that it was Hines and those 10 guys blocking for him. We just view what "may" have motivated them to do their jobs, in that particular instance...in that moment and given what they all had recently experienced, a little differently. Go Bills.
  9. 14 words. Pretty accurate. Man, I think this is going to be so darn fun. "language lessons...inspired words, from a man, who knows how to ski."
  10. I didn't miss his point. I think that Allen's youth has nothing to do with it. I think, when we face adversity, especially with life threatening ones of those close to us, you handle it in different ways...and you see signs, for whatever the reason. The things that rally us for the better are what we make of them. That is what it meant to Josh. Some people...I know this is crazy for some of you...are rallied by and get strength by their faith, regardless of the events that brought them to that conclusion. I most certainly don't look at it as something that made Josh and the team "mentally weak." ...nor do I view his tears that way. Quite the contrary.
  11. You don't have to stand tall around here...you just have to stand up. Thank you, Exile.
  12. Down with God and up with Rodgers as motivation is a weird flex, but hey, to each his own. We all walk our own path. I just love the view on mine and the way it makes me feel, but it may not be for everybody. May you all find peace. Go Bills!
  13. I could not agree with that more. Got a lot out of him and still traded him towards the end for reasonably good value. Good move. Actually, I believe a good move for both teams.
  14. He should have a pretty good year with the Jets. I am of two minorities here: I think the Jets are a pretty good team and save for some injuries might have squeezed into the playoffs...I like their nastiness; and I also actually think Tua is a pretty good QB whose obvious injuries last year got the best of him. That said Buffalo should still win the division, but I think it is going to be close. We could be looking at 3 teams being separated by a staggering of 12-11-10 wins, or even closer. ...no...New England will not be one of those three teams.
  15. New England should feel so good right now. The return to their Super Bowl days are right around the corner. APB there for jumpers from bridges and buildings.
  16. @Alphadawg7 I agreed with you so much here in this thread, Alpha, it is almost getting boring. Tell me what I should have dinner now, too, just to make my life easy. 👍🏻
  17. Solid as usual, Guns! I am of the mindset that I don’t THINK they are leaving, either. However, the possibility does exist, albeit in a Dumb and Dumber “so you’re saying there’s a chance?”, way. What I am more focused on right now is: WR, LB, OL and not necessarily in that order. BTW, my #ShouldHaveGivenHarryThe6Mill is way in my rear view mirror and I am over it.* (* Not really)
  18. Chaos, will you at least stop and consider the fact that the Bills might take a tight end in the first round of the draft? Stop the hate, we could use a back up to Knox.
  19. Great...now I feel like a d***. No, I apologize. However, when my wife asks me when I get home, as she does invariably, "Was House as funny as he always is today?" I can stare into the distance and tell her, "He...was human today...Now, are the hot dogs and beans ready?"
  20. House, come on. You are better than this. If you are just going to phone it in and save all the good stuff until draft night then... ...I gotta be honestly with ya, I had nothing past that. I'll still be here regardless. Have a good one. Go Bills.
  21. I believe the buyout even early on in the current lease is one billion dollars. Yes, a lot, but given the scales we are currently talking about with the potential sale of the Commanders the economics of these deals are so different than even just 9 years ago. back then a Bills owner with a 5 billion dollar worth made you one of the richest owners in the NFL, but probably would not get you through the door to buy a team today. If you have 5 billion to spend on an NFL team I really going to be that sick over spending another billion to possibly move them someplace else? Additionally, just because we are told succession is in place doesn't mean it has to take place. Many of us have, and continue, to keep Kim in our thoughts and prayers and maybe we can't even comprehend what they are dealing with at this point in her health. However, at 72, what if Terry, without the continued assistance, guidance ad even partnership with his wife, doesn't want to do this anymore at some point? Regardless, I have resigned myself to the idea that even if they make it to the end this will be the last lease deal for the Bills in Western New York. Will I have shuffled off this mortal coil before they go? Maybe. However, I am in the minority because it does matter to me if they leave when I am gone, because I would like to think that whenever my child roots for this team in the future it will draw her closer and make her think about her late father. While she watches the team during the games, and also to be in attendance during the annual halftime ceremony celebrating my exploits as the martyred commander of Space Force who successfully defended our planet from alien invaders on "He Did It For All of US Day", always set as the third Sunday in October.
  22. Step 1: Purchase Madden 24; Step 2: Set sliders on Madden 24 to "Rookie"; Step 3: Win Super Bowl in in Madden 24 with 500 yards passing by Josh Allen, and a score of 63-7 over [ insert NFC fodder team here]. I love my Bills. I don't think it is a Super Bowl year. Rebuild? No...I prefer the term "Reload." However, I think 24 will set up very nicely for a run in 25. Buffalo Bills...prove me wrong and win it all in 24.
  23. It is a great weight you have put on my shoulders, Sir. I did not ask for this burden. It has been thrust upon me out of necessity. Please know its importance is not lost on me. Let me me finish my egg McMuffin and ponder it further.
