  1. Just to be clear because the quote doesn't show my response unless you click it, I said, "cogent,". Incase I die tomorrow the last thing I want in the world is to be misconstrued on TSW. 😂
  2. Maybe it’s “cogent,”
  3. Then Planet Sex, save me a room!
  4. GB, respectfully I think there is a greater chance of a kaleidoscope of butterflies coming along and flying me to Planet Sex in the Andromeda galaxy than there is of him being a top 10 DT. I’m not saying it is impossible, especially if the butterflies are Monarchs and have some moxy, but still. I’m not only hoping I am wrong, I am praying for it. Go Bills.
  5. I wish I could say “I almost”.
  6. As someone here who has written about this before on this board in years past…yeah, they grudgingly would raise at an inconsistent pace with others, and his initial yearly rankings were low. That said, 93 is about right, maybe a tad low, but it is fine. Do you remember his 2020 season? He was something special, right? He was also three years deep into his career. At the start of the following Madden season, if memory serves, he wasn’t amongst the top…10 QBs. 🙄🤪
  7. Ya know Guns we are a particular, and probably NFL standard, sort around here. Justifiably if there is issue with Allen's health (shoulder, elbow) as a fan base we come to his defense. As we should and given his level of play when he is healthy. You and others have previously referenced Brown's injuries, lack of a true recovery, and continued concussive ( to the body) nature of the position he plays. ...and generally from a lot of us he almost gets an "F' you, be better or be gone." I like the moves Beane has made on the Oline. However, I am hoping that Brown can at least get back to what he was his rookie year, when healthy. If he doesn't that is too bad, because he did so much imposing of his will that first year. However I am very much pulling for him, because he is one of our guys, because he's done it before, and because of the disadvantages he has experienced caused by his injuries, especially at that position. Maybe we could cut him a break and see. Go Bills.
  8. Bibles of truth there in only a few short words, Doc. It happens…Scent of a Woman for Pacino and the Color of Money for Newman come to mind. Got wonder a bit with the next roles for Glenn Close (6 noms, no win) and Amy Adams (5). so loved the original True Grit. Then Bridges was awesome. My brother ended up buying the book. It is a quick and good weekend read as enjoyable as the movie if you are a reader (his comment).
  9. “We are going to remake a movie where John Wayne won his Oscar. What could go wrong?” Nothing, because in an era where everything is remade, and poorly at that, the Bridges/Damon/Steinfeld remake was simply a great movie and a nice surprise.
  10. so hard not to be this. In the alternative my friend preached Creed Humphrey up and down to anyone who would listen (me). Creed a solid starter his rookie year, a pro bowler his second and he is plugged in there for 10 years. Taking Basham over Humphrey was pretty big one. Mitch honestly could have been switched to guard.
  11. Red Tails for the fighter plane unit or Red Wolves just because.
  12. How funny. I thought hopefully dolphins (picked that), but if not then likely Giants and those are the two leading vote getters so far. We mostly think alike.
  13. Dude…NCAA 14 is a great game. Boy. Good memories. it’s flawed and I wish there were competition and I am worried they may never be able to figure out the same problems they have from year to year, but with that said…honestly, I find fun and enjoyable.
  14. We all know how much the lack of competition has contributed to the downfall. I wish the NFL knew. and yeah, I’ve seen the moody videos, too. I still enjoy it, but it was not like it was in the hey day: madden 05 and ESPN NFL 2K5.
  15. Harris with 53 on 15 carries, but he got yards when he needed to get them. Davis was huge. As much as he could be when Josh only throws for for 168, if memory serves. Almost 90 going to Gabr. Nothing really from Diggs until they needed it on the last drive.
  16. akcash, was that part of a Madden roster update or did you download a roster that someone did on Madden? If downloaded, which one was it? Thank you in advance.
  17. You...have... ... ...bad hair. That's the best I got. It's Friday. 3/12, no lie, the Miller signing sort of scared the heck out of me due to age and money. Love "the guy" but don't love the age, money and then getting sidelined. You want to tell me they signed (insert name) for $22 million per and he is 27, sure. I could be a little more on board. Go Bills! EDIT: Jeepers creepers, it's just kind of frustrating. 20 Mill and hands down best player on D, but is old and gets sidelined, previously the best player on D at 17 plus Mill gets sidelined and then we have a number of picks and a number of guys on the D-Line that are just sort of JAGS, or JADL if you prefer. ...Throw in that we didn't have six million measly dollars per for 3 years for Harry who was rocking it by the end of 21 and we already had an investment in? Whatevs. That's why I don't make the really big bucks. That and because I am iron deficient.
  18. Respectfully, we couldn't beat them when they were hideous. Now they are good and getting better, winning as many playoffs games last year as we did, and they are getting a road game essentially turned into a home game in their "home away from home" all the while as they've had a week to settle in. If the Bills can't beat the Jags it might be because the Jags are a pretty good team, combined with the schedule working out well for them. Go Bills!
  19. I don't know, Hondo. I know we eat the Cowboys (as referenced above) early on in 93 after the 92 season Super Bowl. However, my memory is blank on how we did that same year, as well, against Washington and the Giants. ....Just checked. You are sort of correct with that. In 1993 we beat every team we lost to in the Super Bowl and we swept the East entirely as we also beat the Eagles. It is a good thing we have never, ever put the Ti-Cats back on the schedule.
  20. You guys are crazy. Love this pick up for them. He was great in Uncommon Valor. @skibum Dang it. You beat me to it. My apologies as I didn't see yours before my post. Still leaving it, though.
  21. In the blink of an eye, arcane. We can pass this time standing on our heads.
  22. Bills lost to the Jags in the 2017 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Texans in the 2019 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Chiefs in the 2020 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Chiefs in the 2021 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. The one thing we all learn about stats is that past performance is always 100% indicative of future results and can never, ever vary. I’m sorry, Cincy. Facts are just that…facts. Go Bills!
  23. 3rd, Harry was a 1T, right? At the end of 21 everyone loved his play as stabilizing to the D and then we wouldn’t match the 6 million per that Minny offered for 3 years. They let him go while playing well and not for very much. What was the deal with that? Throwing out there for anyone to answer.
  24. We subtract a halfway decent QB in Carr from the conference, and then add a HoF QB in Rodgers, and in our division. ...Yep.
