  1. QEG, when we were 5-1 that year I posted on happy I was and how my father, who past away in March of 08 and a season ticket holder since day one, would have truly loved this. The thread was nothing but love from everyone on this board to everyone on this board. Today the opposite is true; how he would have been truly disappointed, saddened and angry he would be over the sorry state of this team.
  2. We could use that same air of desperation up here with respect to our offensive line.
  3. I wish there was an applause emoticon...my one gripe with this Board is how incredibly weak our set of emoticons are.
  4. Geez, Blue, thank you. I did not know that. ...I should call my buddy in Atlanta and let him know it was switched back.
  5. http://www.buffalobills.com/schedule-and-events/game-schedule.html MD, please note that the Broncos game has been switched to 9 pm.
  6. Miami's defense is not just good, they are real good. As far as Fitz being better than Henne it is a wash b/c Miami took a number of strides to improve their Oline.
  7. Ya know what...yeah, I think I would too. However, the 5th, not the fourth.
  8. I think the league year technically started August 4th so...no harm, no foul.
  9. Laughing..having trouble typing. ...and glad I was the first one in. Oh Sage!
  10. That is is just some pretty damn funny stuff right there. Well played, sir.
  11. No, I wish that were the case, but no. Miami's defense is also pretty damn good. I thought I heard that they were a top 10 D last year. I love the Bills, but i agree that until proven otherwise our draft position was spot on...we are bottom 3 team in the league right now.
  12. True, but we can only really go with the information that has been presented to this point. I love it, and considering the heat I gave you a few months ago for killing the Watchmen (OH NO, SPOILER!) you know I love it!
  13. Forget about the teams involved; I am just surprised that some people in here are not bothered by the fact that a league official made a judgment call about where a player should play, against the desires of two other franchises, before reinstating said player. ...I mean, seriously, that should bother everybody. It is not the job of the commissioner to decide that "Weak Franchise A" and "Weak Franchise B" are not suitable for a particular player, or the League.
  14. I don't understand; I thought they liked the guys they had playing offensive line and thought that they were better than most of us out here thought they were. EDIT: I love how they went after Atlanta's RT and then after that...they were done. "Oh well, we tried." It is unlikely, but I would love it if someone from the organization came out and said, "Look, we knew we had a poor Oline, but when FA hit we had an extra 20 plus million dollars and sat on our f****** hands and now we are paying for it and you are going to suffer because of it as fans. So what's the big deal?"
  15. Yes, hands down the Bills are Kevin.
  16. Agree with you and Silver completely, PDaD. However, the Bills STILL should have known better. They should have had capable people/scouts in place to notice...apparently they didn't.
  17. How does Urbik last all the way down to the 3rd post? This thread should just plain be titled, "Urbik"
  18. PTR, you have to admit the members of the TSW rarely miss an opportunity.
  19. Yeah Rico, good call. I don't know why that bugs me, too, but it does.
  20. Thank you, and if I may add to that; going after Atlanta's OT, losing and throwing you hands up and saying "I tried" is like what a child would say when he strikes out in little league...when you represent a billion dollar corporation and have decades of personnel experience and a team that has been at sea for a decade you take advantage of everything possible to to make it better. As that great football manager Yoda once said, "Do, or do not. There is no try."
  21. Seriously? That DID make me feel a little better. Honestly. Gailey did show signs of that last year as our sack against went down. Thanks JJ.
  22. I've liked the cards going back to their Super Bowl run, and considering the moves they've made lately and the competition in the NFC West I think if this deal were to go through they would almost be a lock for the division title. ...again, this is when you consider that a 9-7 or so record should do it.
