  1. ehhh, I do kind of want to see Wilson.
  2. I don't know why nobody talks about the fact that we quite possibly could've won one of those Super Bowls if we would've had an oversized noseguard imposing his will on the other team. I always thought Jeff Wright was too small for what this team needed. This is especially true when you consider the book ends of his career, Fred Smerlas and Ted Washington.
  3. I believe no less than 9 and that would be a sign of good results. 10 would be perfect. I would be happy with that. Anything more I just can't imagine. I mean something would have to unexpectedly lock into place for anything more than 10...our LBs are crazy good, Fitz finishes the year among the top 8 QBs, etc.
  4. for the 10-6. ...wow, this is the first KIG thread I've posted in.
  5. I can't believe this didn't get any props until now. Nicely done, Senator. Nicely done, indeed. EDIT: My bad, Uncle Flap did it on Page 2.
  6. Thread of the day, maybe even thread of the month. Damn good question, OSB.
  7. Yeah, it is an oldy...and a goody.
  8. Heck, I remember a few years ago a guy used the Bills to win it all on ESPN's "The Madden Bus."
  9. huh...I can live with that.
  10. Agreed, Promo. ...well sort of. It is just ridiculous to think that the # 6 seed would have 12 wins. Jeepers, what AFC West team do they see going at least 12-4 ahead of the Broncos? Don't tell me SD and don't tell KC, everybodies sweetheart after stumbling last season.
  11. Mark, do they have the final overal team rankings that will be set when the game is released on Tuesday? Previously they had the Bills at 74, but that was back in June.
  12. Great topic, Jay. I am not even going to belabor this point. I know special teams is very important, but how many (or few) guys in this league can really catch the ball well? I just cringed during last seaon when Martin would drop passes on more than a couple of occasions when he honestly had both hands on the ball. Special teams is important, but I don't think it is "a third of the game" as some make it out. I also sort of agree with the Potter argument made earlier this week. ...I'll take Roosevelt.
  13. Too bad. Is this one of those scenerios where they will also try to buy him out of his contract? In other words, are they just plain done with him?
  14. It still would help a great deal if we could find a way to clear off an extra 4 million dollars off our salary cap. ...oh wait.
  15. You would cut a TE before cutting a WR. EDIT: but if you did cut a WR, even though I love the kid you cut Roosevelt. Sorry for the double post. I don't not notice that until now.
  16. I don't want to think about this because Wilson is a guy I wanted on this team.
  17. ...but carried 9. You would cut a TE before cutting a wr.
  18. Peter, I'll bet you and I screamed the same expletive at the same time.
  19. Yeah, part of the worry for a bunch of us interested in Willis was that the 49ers loved him...which proved to be true. I don't think there was ever a thought by SF's front office to trade with Buffalo in the hopes that Willis would still be there. Please note, I am not suggesting that at all. I am just saying that I can't imagine them risking their prize in the draft when they knew the team behind them coveted Willis just as much.
  20. Someone posted this earlier, but it is still good to hear, Jay. ...keep it coming' Bills' fans!
  21. What was fitz at the start of last year, in the 70s? I think he made it to 80-82 by the end of last year...yeah, that is at least a workable QB rating for Madden fans. EDIT: BTW, if you scroll down you'll see that team ratings were released around the time of E3 (June) having the Bills at 74 and the Jets at 79. I'm thinking if it were tweeked before the release date those two teams would be a little more in line with each other.
  22. I've seen that before, and nicely done there, Mark.
  23. Did not know that...that would have been worth it and I am not saying that just by the way he has performed in the NFL. I really wanted that guy in a Bills uniform.
  24. Honestly, I don't know in what football universe we would be in to have only 7 offensive linemen.
