You can check the play by play in the PDF available at the bottom of "game details".
Beas played in the 1Q, with Tyrod Taylor and then DeVito. Crowder played early in the 2nd with DeVito.
I am sorry, Becks, where can this be found, please?
Thank you in advance.

The Giants signed Paris Campbell, who is primarily a slot, for $2.9M guaranteed. Then they signed Jamison Crowder to a VSB (vet salary benefit) contract with small signing, workout, and roster bonuses.
Then they signed Beasley to vet minimum with NO bonuses
The general feeling on folks covering the Giants seems to be that Shepard, Slayton, Hodgins, 3rd round pick Jalin Hyatt, and Parris Campbell are sho-ins.
That probably leaves one roster spot. Crowder can return punts and kicks - did last year and the year before. Beasley has returned punts and kicks in the past, but has not done so since 2018.
Some Giants writers are putting Beasley ahead of Crowder. Both caught everything thrown at them in the game vs the Lions, Crowder 2 of 2 for 32 yds, Beasley 4 of 4 for 33 yds. Beasley played in the 1Q, Crowder in the 2Q, which is often held to indicate position on the depth chart, but it's only the 1st preseason game.Beck, thank you for the info. Great stuff.
Honestly going to be watching this if I get the chance during the next two games.
It is preseason, but I am starting to get so wound up for the season I just need more and more to think about, even above and beyond the Bills.
Unless everyone else here just wants to listen to and watch the talking heads fall all over themselves about the Jets for the next three weeks?

Lots of posts in the thread when he signed that he’s better than Brown or would push him for the starting job.Airseven, if what you are saying is true that means TSW might be susceptible to board members quickly throwing injured Bills (Brown) under the bus and giving broad superlative praise to the new guy in town.
I am going to have to research this a bit because I am finding it difficult to believe.

Interesting, thats a really thin WR room. Davis would be the clear wr1 there.
I mean he was good off the couch w Dorsey. He doesn't rely on speed, just getting to soft spots in zone. I think Buf just wanted more explosiveness from the slot
Honestly, JB, I can't imagine that they are looking for more than 3-4 grabs a game, all for about 8-10 yards a pop and a couple of first downs. If he still has anything left that is what they will get. I don't think he is a key for them, but he does give them that slot threat/dump off.

Hey donuts, you may be right. He’s definitely lost a step. Most likely he’ll be good for 7 yard quick out passes, but not much after the catch. That will help the Giants keep the sticks moving. He’s reliable and has sure hands. He’s just lost the athleticism he once had at a younger age. This isn’t me banging on the guy. The Giants need bandaids to keep in the hunt in the NFCE.
It makes sense for Dabbs. Since he and Schoen went there, I’ve become a small Giants supporter. Nothing like the Bills, but I want them to succeed. I’m still hopeful we beat them in October, but confident this may be Von’s first game and you know he’ll have a big game.
Guns, solid points. Additionally, I can't think of a move that Daboll and Schoen done since they got to New York that I haven't liked. Not everything will pan out, but I like that team and it doesn't hurt that I love the guys running it.

For instance, being preseason was he with the 1s working against 1s and 2s from the Lions? Did he do his damage against late in the game going against those the general public like to say are headed for grocery clerk status? How deep into the game did he play?
I ask not to bash but because I didn't catch the game and don't know the answer. However usage and level of opponent really comes into play during the preseason as well.
BBG, you are absolutely right. I, too, did not catch the game. I was just checking the stat line as I believe someone on NFL Network was referencing that he had a good game.
BTW, my post about him was NOT about him staying here or that he should have stayed here. We have better options, top to bottom. I just remembered this thread and details on game 1 were referenced this morning.

Beas, 4 targets, 4 receptions and tied for the lead in receptions game 1.
Going back to many earlier points, it is the combination of Beasley and Dabol that is going to likely make this work for the Giants.

I agree it's nonsensical, but I'm not convinced it's entirely about the money. I think maybe Oher feels hurt because someone convinced him the Touhy family used him.
But it's hard to know motivation unless you know Oher personally. In any case, it's a sad situation. Oher used to be family with the Tuohy's. Seems that's over. Bad for all sides.
They stated public they still love him.

Kinda a ho-hum game. if Kyle Allen continues to struggle, Barkley may take his job, he looked pretty good today, albeit against mostly 3rd and 4th stringers. Still, a 154 rating with only 1 incompletion and 2 TD passes is good no matter who it's against.
and I believe the incompletion was a drop.

I mess any of you up who gets in the way of me getting one of these to complete my set.*
(* No I won't. I won't even look at you cross. I just want the set is all. the last one is unopened. The first one we got...well, my daughter got a hold of it. Let's leave it at that)

Do former players count?
For that matter, does arrested but not charged count ?
Ed Oliver was arrested for DWI and weapon charges but charges were dropped.
Marcell Dareus - couple arrests. Weed (synthetic) and drag racing right?
Zay Jones - jumping through windows naked while fighting his brother
Cyrus Koundijo (spelling) - didn't he have a breakdown and was wandering around near the 400? I f orget if that was an arrest or not
Was Shady ever arrested for anything ? His posse had that run in with an off duty cop in Philly. Can't remember if there was an arrest. There was also all that ugliness with his ex-GF
Did weight-gain-sympathy-for-the-Mrs ever get arrested or was he just suspended at some point?

We’ve been hearing good things about him. Starting with Dolphin players and fans sad to see him go to JA bragging on him to having a solid camp. What do you guys think Sherfield’s ceiling is with this team?
I know it’s just training camp, but just when you thought you’ve seen all the throws from JA, check this out! Nice grab too.
And check out this one handed grab.
Go Bills!Stupid and stupider.
To the Board members, we are about to be disgustingly spoiled with what's brewing between Josh and some of his receivers.
Fat, sloppy, dirty, rotten, slobberingly spoiled, with three giant scoops of ice cream and a cherry on top to finish it off.
Hopefully a ring.
GO BILLS!

Not a shock.
I wanted him in the Draft.
Instead we took a 223 pound MLB.
Beane’s blind spot for Brown is hurting the team.
Is there any way to trick the Bills front office into thinking rounds 1, 2 and 3 are rounds 5, 6, and 7?
…and I’m kind of not joking.
Our next pro bowlers drafted in rounds 1, 2, and 3 will be, if memory serves, our first pro bowlers drafted in rounds 1, 2, and 3 since round 1, 2018.

Good Luck to Bease. Don't know how much he has left in the tank, but I wish him well.
If he were going to land anywhere is there a better landing spot than with Dabol?
50-50 he makes the team depending upon what he has left, but if he makes the team no way…no way he is a wall flower. He gets touches. A lot of them.
Good for him and good for the Giants.

I think this team could finish 11-6, and yet by the end of the season be a better team than last year's 13-3 team.
I hope that makes some sense to the football fans out there.
I think 10-7 or 9-8 or worse would be due to something catastrophic, unforeseen and really not part of the discussion.

@dollars 2 donuts, how many times have you run this same simulation to verify accuracy? 🤔😃
HUDS, honest to goodness, no lie, in Madden '93 if I really needed it...I mean really needed it I would have Thurman...actually just Number 34 I believe back then, run a sweep. I would go all the way to the sideline, cut hard and then straight up the field...forever.
If I was at the 20, it was an 80 yard TD ALMOST every time.
Andre to the flags worked well too,, but it is crazy how much I turned to Thurman. I think Madden '93 was just before the '92 season and was based upon the '91 season and in that one, I believe, Kelly was League MVP and Thurman was no slouch so they were, as the kids say today, the shiznit.
...do they say that still?
Maybe beautious? Forget it, that's from my time.

I’m flying my three kids up from Tampa for the Raiders. It should be great. Only my sons are going to the game with all of their cousins and uncles. My daughter will hang with my Dad, and sisters.
It’s a family weekend so no big tailgating goals, just good family fun. Hopefully I’ll see someone you there. I’ll see if I can talk them into going to Hammers as that’s like home when we fly up.
Guns informed me outside of this Board that he will buy every single Member of TSW who shows up a super mighty at the Transit Road MT at noon on the Saturday before the game.
I may have misunderstood his text, but you know what, let's just go with the above for now.
Don't be jerks and ask for extras that cost money like guac. Be fair to the guy, he is a great Board Member and very generous.

716, I know that. I was kidding back with you. DK2 is too early to tell. Rookie TE’s usually don’t pan out to too much, but it is 2023. Pitts had a big first year, but he wasn’t just a 1st, he was the ATL offense. and has more speed than DK2.I think because he could morph into the slot option around 500-600 yards, but he’ll be sharing with the OG DK, and there is more from Cook on top of Diggs and Davis.
I’m just patient in waiting until we see it. Remember last year when the McKenzie hype after Crowder went down went on steroids.

I really hope we see a lot of Miller-Ed-Rousseau-Floyd rushing on 3rd down and obvious passing downs. Doesn’t get much better than that in the current NFLAgreed, Era, but you know who you are leaving out (just a little bit)?
Jordan Poyer. With our safety duo back in tact I can't wait for those times that McDermott sends Poyer flying in (and he will) from a blind, or hell, even straight on angle.
Crazy...he has been in the League for 11 years, six of that with Buffalo, but 10 of his 11 career sacks and 22 of his 24 career picks are with the Bills.
Go Bills!

Giants signing Cole Beasley
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
Some solid points, ED. However, as much as I am not the biggest fan of DJ, I am also not hounding on him. He has Daboll right now as his OC and is almost (almost) night and day with him. The highest QB rating of his career even while the team still had big holes? Check.
He is a veteran and he has more weapons. I never said they are winning the super bowl or even the division, but I do like what they are doing.
Brown and Cole were what the Bills needed...when they needed them. Whatever piecemeal Schoen is doing, even at this stage and other than QB, is still a bit year to year.
