  1. We all know how much the lack of competition has contributed to the downfall. I wish the NFL knew. and yeah, I’ve seen the moody videos, too. I still enjoy it, but it was not like it was in the hey day: madden 05 and ESPN NFL 2K5.
  2. Harris with 53 on 15 carries, but he got yards when he needed to get them. Davis was huge. As much as he could be when Josh only throws for for 168, if memory serves. Almost 90 going to Gabr. Nothing really from Diggs until they needed it on the last drive.
  3. akcash, was that part of a Madden roster update or did you download a roster that someone did on Madden? If downloaded, which one was it? Thank you in advance.
  4. You...have... ... ...bad hair. That's the best I got. It's Friday. 3/12, no lie, the Miller signing sort of scared the heck out of me due to age and money. Love "the guy" but don't love the age, money and then getting sidelined. You want to tell me they signed (insert name) for $22 million per and he is 27, sure. I could be a little more on board. Go Bills! EDIT: Jeepers creepers, it's just kind of frustrating. 20 Mill and hands down best player on D, but is old and gets sidelined, previously the best player on D at 17 plus Mill gets sidelined and then we have a number of picks and a number of guys on the D-Line that are just sort of JAGS, or JADL if you prefer. ...Throw in that we didn't have six million measly dollars per for 3 years for Harry who was rocking it by the end of 21 and we already had an investment in? Whatevs. That's why I don't make the really big bucks. That and because I am iron deficient.
  5. Respectfully, we couldn't beat them when they were hideous. Now they are good and getting better, winning as many playoffs games last year as we did, and they are getting a road game essentially turned into a home game in their "home away from home" all the while as they've had a week to settle in. If the Bills can't beat the Jags it might be because the Jags are a pretty good team, combined with the schedule working out well for them. Go Bills!
  6. I don't know, Hondo. I know we eat the Cowboys (as referenced above) early on in 93 after the 92 season Super Bowl. However, my memory is blank on how we did that same year, as well, against Washington and the Giants. ....Just checked. You are sort of correct with that. In 1993 we beat every team we lost to in the Super Bowl and we swept the East entirely as we also beat the Eagles. It is a good thing we have never, ever put the Ti-Cats back on the schedule.
  7. You guys are crazy. Love this pick up for them. He was great in Uncommon Valor. @skibum Dang it. You beat me to it. My apologies as I didn't see yours before my post. Still leaving it, though.
  8. In the blink of an eye, arcane. We can pass this time standing on our heads.
  9. Bills lost to the Jags in the 2017 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Texans in the 2019 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Chiefs in the 2020 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. Bills lost to the Chiefs in the 2021 season playoffs and beat them the next time they played them. The one thing we all learn about stats is that past performance is always 100% indicative of future results and can never, ever vary. I’m sorry, Cincy. Facts are just that…facts. Go Bills!
  10. 3rd, Harry was a 1T, right? At the end of 21 everyone loved his play as stabilizing to the D and then we wouldn’t match the 6 million per that Minny offered for 3 years. They let him go while playing well and not for very much. What was the deal with that? Throwing out there for anyone to answer.
  11. We subtract a halfway decent QB in Carr from the conference, and then add a HoF QB in Rodgers, and in our division. ...Yep.
  12. Agreed. Alpha, I absolutely love the Bills...AND 11-6 is real and not pessimistic for 2023. Two things can be true at once. I also think by the end of the year, like in 2021, this team could be locked in and potentially go far. However, at Cincy, Philly and KC, plus we split with divisional rivals who are both definitely better than they were in 2022, plus the normal phantom home loss (Cowboys? Jags who beat us when they were bad?) and all this adds up to 11-6 being a possibility. Although I am not a betting man (albeit I should have put money down that Picard Season 3 was going to be way better than the first two @Ridgewaycynic2013 with Terry Matalas at the helm) I will not jump on anyone that takes the under on 11.5. Go Bills!
  13. Ridge, we have 800 plus episodes and movies of Star Trek we can dive into and talk about at length together. it will be a podcast. “Boldly Going with Ridge and Donuts” or “Make It So with Ridge and Donuts” or “If Only…If Only with Ridge and Donuts” or “The Star Trek Show Featuring Donuts (with special guest star ridge)” I know which one is my favorite, but decisions don’t have to be made right away.
  14. I don’t follow other teams a whole lot, but aren’t they sort of stacked inside, upfront on their D?
  15. I can’t even began to calculate the number of points awarded to you for using “the Tholian Assembly.” …it’s a lot.
  16. No lie, cheetos are the reason why chopsticks were invented.
  17. Dopey...yeah...we sour around here a lot don't we! 😅 Here is the thing that is silly though and why we shouldn't... ...it is sooooo long before we play. That's what actually stinks a little about the draft. After they finish up on Saturday I want a game on Sunday! Go Bills!
  18. It was just a joke, Francis, lighten up.
  19. BTW, not for nothing but what do we do when Dorsey lines him up, always, at FB?
  20. PF, I agree. The CB pick was solid and necessary in this division. Even when they are great they are never sexy, but CB matters so much in this league.
  21. You know, Chand, my real world buddy, Bagel as he used to be known around here (a longtime member here who just hasn't posted in forever), kind of agrees with you. He is hoping for some better play and a turnaround by Gabe into, at the very least, a true #2 and he thinks very highly of Shakir's future. I know, I know...it goes against TSW standing policy to disagree with somebody and NOT be mean about it, insulting, or even then to give credit to something we may disagree upon. However, darn it, I am doing it right here and now! I want more help at receiver, but I get and respect your point. BTW, if this were a @nucci post and if he was commenting similarly as I have the entire post would be... "I disagree, but maybe. We'll see." Word salads can be a such waste of time. Direct and to the point is always cherished. Long live ya, Nuch!
  22. Sorry if already (and likely) already posted. Worth seeing again, though. From a few weeks ago.
  23. Ahem…on the contrary, good Sir, I was a supporter and possibly even an enabler to your cause. 😉 Honestly, though, great call man. Congrats.
  24. Why, though, they had so many options?* (* They didn't have one, single, ****ing option besides paying him. He was always going to get paid by them. Always. It was just a a matter of how much and when.)
  25. Khakis...so stolen from somewhere else. I pride myself a bit on my humor, but I give credit where credit is due. It was someone from twitter a few months ago. Loved it. and *sssshhhh* *whisper* (I agree and have spoken with others about the fact that I don't love our drafting the last few years). I love Beane. I am the guy who a few years ago started threads about him being a witch and how I want him to run my life. However much faith I have in him, though, it is not blind faith like it used to be. Ridge you were either getting a trophy or a laugh. I'll change it to which ever one you want. GO FREAKING BILLS, YEAH BABY!!!!
