  1. SJ, I officially give you the props you deserve. "I Knight thee Comparer of Marcus Allen, with all right, title and properties that go alone with it." Seriously, that is a great observation and being old enough to have seen MA I think it is a good comparison.
  2. Man oh man, how great were our LBs then? ...Bennett, Talley, Conlan and then throw in Bentley for a couple of years and Bailey after that.
  3. Was he Easley the best receiver last night? ...oh come on, I had to go there.
  4. Cub, are you kidding us? ...they're showing Jets camp AGAIN?! Give me a and a side of with a great big on the top.
  5. Forgetting about his production or what happened while he was here there is little doubt that had SF not taken Willis just before our taking of Lynch, that Willis would have been the pick. I agree with you Matt. I think Willis is the only exception the past few years, even though a number of early LBs have produced.
  6. We're all with ya there, BiP. I mean that have to talk about the bills so much, but please talk about other teams than what you referenced above. For example and not because they are favorites of mine, but I would be curious to see more of what is going on in Detroit, San Diego, Houston and Tenn.; just as examples of teams I am curious about but which they haven't referenced a whole lot.
  7. Thanks 5-dubs. I'm looking forward to my first ever report after I make my first trip to SJF for the evening practice on the 14th. Btw, guys, and please forgive my ignorance, what does the depth chart right now at center look like with Woody gone? Thank you in advance. EDIT: just saw it, brown, asper and snow.
  8. Agreed. I am not going to say that the guy is Slash, but he can run, pass and catch which is pretty nice.
  9. Dang it...I think the dispute got settled. Received it in an email.
  10. That is tremendous behyond words.
  11. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-facility-tours/09000d5d82a6c41a/Fred-Jackson-shows-off-his-ride Nice Fred. Nice. You deserve your toy, man.
  12. This is the way I voted, as well. Additionally, I am also in agreement with those that list Brad Smith as making the team at the QB position. ...I like some of these guys, especially Roosevelt, and hope they can catch on with other teams.
  13. Very tragic. From a football standpoint I believe his passing is the reason why Marv lost his job. After finishing I believe either 8-8 or 9-7 the previous year the Chiefs tumbled to 4-12(?) without him and Marv was let go after a couple of years of improving their record.
  14. Deepest of condolences, Guff. My he rest in peace and my your family's pain at this time be swiftly eased.
  15. I feel blessed as a fan of this team that we have so many different options to choose from for "biggest FA busts." Can I get a Joe Panos from any of you out there? Well, how about a Quinn Early?
  16. eball, that was a great read. Thank you.
  17. He'll only play 15 - 20 downs a game...and I mean that as a good thing. Get him out there to reek havoc every few downs.
  18. Ahhh, dummy me. Thanks QCity. I know they had Williams set but I forgot it was LDE. Addtionally, I agree with your second paragraph whole heartedly. It is one of the reason why I am excited for the D this year; guys are going to stay fresh and be able to play to their strengths.
  19. Honestly, I think he will generally be considered the starter at LDE being subbed out specifically in passing situations, will be good against the run (therein lies the "starter") and might have a career year for sacks (7). EDIT: Oh, and I say that as one of the people who wanted him let go a number of times in the past.
  20. I don't know how you can ask who the Bills' biggest rival is without mentioning Seattle.
  21. Bill Belichick, DC - New York Giants 85-90, two non-consecutive SB championships. Dave Wannstedt, DC - Dallas Cowboys, 89-92. That's just two. Although Wanny has doen the job before there aren't necessary man lines that go: ______________, DC - ___________, 1991, the next year, HC at ____________
  22. Dear PTR, You don't know what they hell you are talking about. Respectfully, Dick LeBeau
