  1. Ground, pound, shake and bake with those two would be nice. I just wish Freddy would be back for the NE, which I know he isn't. I think a steady flow of Spiller and Freddy, at home ,w ould make all the difference in that game. of course, yes, I agree e-b. Lets just consider it a percentage or maybe have the 6-10 other plays be Fritz scrambling or Smith out of the the Wildcat.
  2. I don't know about you guys, but hopefully in the near future I would love to read a stat line that went something like: Jackson 18 carries. Spiller 12 carries. Fitzpatrick 12-20 passing. If even that were to become roughly our average for the year I think it would mean good things with respect to wins/losses. I think Spills will do just fine averaging 2.5 carries less a game than right now. Maybe not 120 yards per game fine given his current average, but him rushing for 65-75 per would be great.
  3. Oliver is 2nd in the nation inrushing and Zordich is 16th in passing. Just an FYI.
  4. This...oh man, this.
  5. I know, B, but to get robbed of those games is so disappointing to Bills fans. I mean, many Torontonians will go to the game because it is the NFL...but do they care? That's what stinks. BTW, incase you didn't know Brawndo has what plants crave. It has electrolytes.
  6. I am ready to front the first $25,000 to make this a reality. ...wait, what is that you're saying, Honey?...I...no, but...ok...ok..........ok-ok...OK. Yeah, I'm out.
  7. I don't think I have ever said this to anyone on this board (maybe I have, but i just don't remember) and I truly do not mean this as any offense to you SouthernMan, but...lighten up. When is it right or even fair to judge others intelligence based upon inconclusive proof with respect to an issue or event in sports? I think it was a forward pass. I am not offended they called it the way the did or that it was backed up as inconclusive to overturn afterwards. Additionally, the tone of the poll answers in general does not appear to be so laced with scientific study as it is with emotional sentiment, as I am not sure anyone truly thinks that Flutie would have won the next 3 Super Bowls...well, one person thought it. So unless one of us is responsible for kicking your mother in the baby maker why don't you go a little easier on those of us whose opinion differs from yours...especially in a harmless poll.
  8. I have never said this before because I really hadn't given it so much consideration but after twelve years I now honestly believe that regardless of that call Flutie would have won the game and he would have taken us to the Super Bowl. ...and I am far from being the biggest Flutie fan.
  9. He was also 4th in the nation in receptions and yards his junior year. http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receptions/year/2008
  10. You and me both, Todd, with the age and the maturity. ...My first game was in 75 and to you younger Bills fans I am not sure I can even explain to you how great a runner OJ was. Honestly, even the video doesn't do him justice...with respect to football I mean. I was at the game where the 20 game losing streak to the Dolphins came to an end. I was at Jim Kelly's first game and his last. I was at the greatest pounding in AFC Championship history and the greates comeback in NFL history. I attended that first Bills Super Bowl wherein from where I was sitting and for a split second I actually thought the kick was good. I mention those moments because I will always keep them near and dear to me as I suffer through the seemingly endless football torture of the last 12 years. GO BILLS!
  11. "Should" is becoming a four letter word around he with this team. That being said, CM, I hope you are right.
  12. I-I-I-I GOT A FEELIN'...THAT BUFFALO IS GOING TO THE SU-U-PER BOWL!!!! ...oh, and this team really does make me want to shout and kick my heels back and...
  13. Never bothers me and I always love it. ...laugh everytime. Thank you.
  14. Groin injury...it is the new high ankle sprain. The same way the high ankle sprain was the new turf-toe.
  15. Man, what we could do with a 30 year old Kelly, 28 year old Reed and 25 year old Thurman in today's NFL.
  16. ehhh, I do kind of want to see Wilson.
  17. I don't know why nobody talks about the fact that we quite possibly could've won one of those Super Bowls if we would've had an oversized noseguard imposing his will on the other team. I always thought Jeff Wright was too small for what this team needed. This is especially true when you consider the book ends of his career, Fred Smerlas and Ted Washington.
  18. I believe no less than 9 and that would be a sign of good results. 10 would be perfect. I would be happy with that. Anything more I just can't imagine. I mean something would have to unexpectedly lock into place for anything more than 10...our LBs are crazy good, Fitz finishes the year among the top 8 QBs, etc.
  19. for the 10-6. ...wow, this is the first KIG thread I've posted in.
  20. I can't believe this didn't get any props until now. Nicely done, Senator. Nicely done, indeed. EDIT: My bad, Uncle Flap did it on Page 2.
  21. Thread of the day, maybe even thread of the month. Damn good question, OSB.
  22. Yeah, it is an oldy...and a goody.
