  1. Just as an example to some of what has been going around, in Alphadawg7's thread about trading down twice wherein the Rams would swap with us to get Austin they would probably (if this guide is reasonably accurate) only have to give us their first and their second to get our 8th pick, as opposed to the additional 4th he referenced. Although, after watching Elway to Marino last night all bets might be off!
  2. Someone had linked to it in a thread in recent weeks, but I just couldn't find it. I just wanted to link to it in its own thread because it obviously has been coming up as we get closer to the draft. http://www.newerasco...de-value-chart/
  3. When they gave that little snippet of information on Kelly at the end of the program I really wish they would've put in his lifetime record against Marino and Elway. 17-7 vs Marino (please note that if I remember correctly one of those wins was by Frank R. In the regular season...so 16-7) and 4-2 vs Elway. I guess putting up a 20-9 record as a stat would have uglied up the two heroes of the documentary too much.
  4. My bad because I probably wasn't clear with my comment so I will rephrase it. If this was Wright's pride and joy and a watershed mark for his career as stated in the article, and there is too eerily similar a likeness between his charging Buffalo and the charging Bison of Howard then why has there been no obvious follow-up from the news? Furthermore, the act of stealing or copyright infringement doesn't really interest me (but I do understand that it interests many on the Board)...what interests me is the feeling either Wright or his family may have towards something that appears to be unoriginal. Sorry if it is just me, but the story isn't in the law, but what the people/family were thinking and what they might be thinking now.
  5. Actually isn't he making 13 million over the next two years?
  6. Some people are kind of missing the point with what was discovered here during this thread; that is Wright's family states that the logo was his pride and joy and the greatest accomplishment of his career, but...he...stole...it. ...any follow-up from the Buffalo News on that?!
  7. I love Fred and no offense to the OP, but it so much this that it really isn't worth talking about.
  8. A whole bunch of everything that most of the guys have said above. However, fate robbed him of a little bit of his glory because I honestly believe that if he didn't break his ankle against the Pats in 1980 that we beat the Charges and beat the Raiders (in Buffalo) in the AFC Championship game. ...I mean we lost in the last 2 minutes against the Charges by 6 points with him playing on one freaking leg!
  9. For crying out loud how does that not get covered in the article? Granted, the writer may not have known, but it is such an obvious ripoff.
  10. If it is any consolation the trophy does appear to be out of reach.
  11. That poor schlub now has to continue to put up with the frustration that is RGIII and playing for a defending division champion. Haha...sucker!
  12. I'm with you, BC. That would be very frustrating. Although if it were a WR I would be a little more understanding, given the circumstances.
  13. Yeah, they can pick a starter that they will have for the next 4 years at half that price.
  14. I checked around a little bit and have no idea how much Gundlach is worth. I do not believe he is on the Forbes 400. I thought there would be something out there that showed his net worth but I couldn't find it.
  15. Great thread, TLT. I read the quote about five minutes before seeing your post and i questioned Kraft's figures while reading.
  16. With all due respect to the OP, the references to The Replacements make this thread.
  17. I don't know, he seemed pretty darn good as a starting left tackle in his rookie season. Let 2013's rookie T work the inside at G.
  18. Guys I am sorry if I missed it posted in this thread, but a buddy of mine told me that there are reports that Reinhart's deal is for one year, 1.75 million, and as my friend stated if that is the case then there HAS TO BE some sort of plan for LG here.
  19. WEO...in fairness to you I do see you point. Truly I do. However, I am being completely honestly when I say this; I would take such risk and I would take the regular season success even if it meant a likely failure in the post season. Jim Kelly didn't win one Super Bowl, not one. ...I'd take that all over again for twenty million a pop without blinking if we were 10-6 and in the playoffs at the end of the season, let alone 13-3, even with a one and done playoff. Yes, I am absolutely, positively THAT FREAKIN' STARVED FOR WINNING WITH THIS TEAM! Go Bills.
  20. Yesterday I wanted to throw up a little bit when Levitre left. ...now I want to throw up a lot. A hole that could have been filled with a known quantity (and quality) is now quite empty. I love the Bills and I will "try" to stay optimistic. However, if you are fan of this team HOW DO YOU NOT have this sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach?
  21. Yeah, thank you. Man, I mean i just don't get the start of this thread. Why don't we just laugh at the stupid Pats for extending Brady or the Saints for resigning Brees.
