  1. Forgive me, C.O.C., because I didn't have the opportunity to read your whole post as I have to step out. The one comment that I do want to make with respect to the early portion of you post is that it would be nice if there were two games remaining for guys to make their case, but I've seen in years past guys play great in game 4 and not make this team. I can't remember the particular RBs name (maybe Gray?) who ran for 126 yards in the final preseason game and was cut. Maybe the mentality is different with Marrone, but I will be interested to see.
  2. Gugny, no way, brother. I hate when this or any board deteriorates into that...it's important to keep it loose. BTW, just to add an observation to my earlier comment, how do you not feel sick if you are a San Diego Chargers fan that a good team for a few years was wasted? Seriously, that stinks. EDIT: Like if the Bills go 47-11 over the next 4 years, but are 1-4 in the playoffs...dang.
  3. OK, I'm with you...San Diego hasn't really been a factor in the AFC since before 2010. ...Love the shout out to 2008, though!
  4. With all due respect, 2010 called and they just want everyone to know that San Diego hasn't really been that good for a little while.
  5. I smell the salary cap going up!! WHALESY, GIT 'ER DO...oh, who am I kidding. I can't do this.
  6. Class Act, great guy, hope he does well...but I still would have like him in a Green Bay uniform with a real shot of playing in February.
  7. Great point, SJBF, I never thought of that. ...am I bad person for starting to get really excited again for the season, even with EJ hurt and Bradham not knowing where the best place is to store and smoke pot?
  8. I am going to join in with a lot of you here; thank you, Rian, thank you for 10 years. It would have been nice to see you in at least one playoff game, but I suspect the Green Bay Packers will be calling your agent shortly so maybe you'll get a shot at a Super Bowl after 14 years. Good luck!
  9. The thing is what is he to do; does he just sit out for the year and say good-bye to almost 7 million dollars guaranteed money?
  10. NJ, seriously, not a bad list.
  11. See what the football gods do to you for being happy. Edit: meanwhile, Brady goes down like a sack of potatoes, but he's there the next day and then throws 11-12 the day after that...not fair, it's just not fair.
  12. http://www.sherv.net/cheering.clapping-emoticon-3289.html Sorry, tried to paste a clapping emoticon, but it just did the link. Emoticons on my iPad just aren't showing up. Nicely stated, MLS!
  13. True beerball, but it's okay for us to be losers... Just not the coaches!
  14. I want whoever the starter is to be ready for game one. In my opinion that means your projected starter should get at least 2 1/2 quarters in against Washington next week. I don't want our projected starter getting only about 20 minutes in the most important preseason game.
  15. I'll tell ya,CBN, I will be very upset if Byrd does not come in soon enough to be ready for that first game against the Pats. He should come in sometime next week.
  16. Was he upset because Doug didn't do what he was supposed to, or upset because the bills didn't do what they were supposed? Meaning that it is okay for other teams around the league to do this, just not the Buffalo Bills. This annoys me because I have seen this before with other things that go on in the league. Also, when we got pounded last preseason and previous preseasons I don't remember anyone In the bills organization making this complaint. I know, I know, it Is a stretch. Isn't it just bothersome sometimes when you get this sense that someone around the league is subtlety hinting at, "how dare the Bills do that?!"
  17. Maybe we can bring Wanny back as a diversion.
  18. That does make sense. However, don't they have to pass through waivers when they are cut initially? I just don't think Rogers will make it through that initial pass through waivers. … What team having wide receiver problems would let him pass through?
  19. Explains a lot of what EJ did in the first two quarters last week. Obviously not the same situation, but many of you remember when Marchibroda and Kelly got going with the no-huddle that it initially was just a handful of plays.
  20. Now 58% Bills, with 33 votes.
  21. eball I think the are an old team, getting older regardless of some nice prospects and they play in a tough division that is only getting tougher. Hey, if I am wrong then I don't mind it. I like the Steelers.
  22. Additionally, if he were to make some nice long throws down field. However, if EJ were able to do the same thing tonight, then I think this competition is over. I agree with you completely, give the kid is reps next week.
  23. The surprise bad team this year, and I mean real bad: the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  24. First, I kind of like the Bengals going back a few years, and I am fine with them on this year's Hard Knocks. Additionally, I know it is a moot point because, as I understand it, the powers that be with Bills didn't want to be on the show (even though they probably weren't asked...if I am wrong, someone give a shout out, please). However, there is a sort of sameness with the Bengals during the first episode, or rather, the producers weren't sure where to go with some stories. I just think the new Bills coaching staff, the QB competition involving a first round draft pick and the competition at receiver along with the apparent change of attitude/focus for a team that is 13 years into a playoff drought makes for a more interesting story.
