Rochesterian Malcolm Glazer, RIP, 85 years old.

Well, Ford died this year and I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that Bud Adams died at the end of the season. ...of the four deaths we are the only up for grabs franchise. -

Had no idea he was born in Rochester. Seemed like a good guy. RIP. -
Who will be our best receiver this year?
dollars 2 donuts replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KJ, that is almost my exact low side expectation of which I'd still be ok with given his potential. I believe his high side and my hope is about 84 grabs, 1200 yards and 10-11 td's. -
The New stadium must be a dome

This...and from an engineering standpoint it is not some mystical voodoo as it was perceived to be when the lobster shell opened up north so many years ago. I am not saying it is cheap, but it should be considered, because they abundant in today's sports complexes. -
Downtown Stadium Article
dollars 2 donuts replied to need therapy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have been to a few Bengals games over the years and I know exactly what you are talking about. I not only liked the tailgating before the games, but going to downtown pubs afterward. EDIT: Additionally, and not to be a lazy bones, can one of you tech savvy bunch link to a map with these areas, generally, highlighted please? Thank you. -
Bills sign try-out 6'4" WR Caleb Holley
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man, it makes you really appreciate how for some of these guys have to come, and some do, like Freddy. From Coe College, the lower arena league, living in his mother-in-law's basement to making 10 plus million dollars over the course of his NFL career and probably finishing as the third leading rushing in a franchise's history. Not bad at all. -
Sammy gets double-teamed. Now, what?

and a little bit of pee running down some flat-footed DB's leg if Goodwin happens to be in the game. OP, I respect the scenario, but I feel like worrying about this is like worrying about the 27 Yankees having no batting depth after Mark Koenig...OK, maybe a little too much there, but I'm feeling optimistic. -
I understand the concern many have with him getting older...I do. I know full well at some point he may have a precipitous drop off in production. I also get that he had a serious injury that hampered him in 2012, and has been "dinged" since, and I am not looking to break the bank with him. Additionally, as the BN article stated today many RBs reach their peak at 27 years old. ...the darn thing is that since turning 28 the guy has 951 carries for 4,256 yards and 25 TDs to go with 197 receptions for 1,632 yards and six additional TDs for a total of 5,888 yards and 31 TDs in essentially four and half season. If he keeps that average going this year I am willing to gamble, what in NFL terms is a pittance, on at least another year or two.

...what do you do with him in 2015? Let's just say all things are equal, meaning the Bills have a 3rd RB who is good, but not quite there yet and they DO resign CJ for 3-4 million per year (his hypo: 250 carries, 1125 yards 4 rushing TDs but better receiving numbers). Do you look to the 2015 draft for a middle round replacement RB to be the #2 (or 1B) (which we may do this year anyways) or do you extend him an offer? I'd give him 2 years, 4.5 million with one million guaranteed (or bonus) with a total for 2015 of no less than 2 million. I think even one year further down the road, even though he has lost some steps, he gives you something that is not easily replaced. ...just a side discussion here waiting around for next Thursday. GO BILLS!
-
Well, if we can get him and Zack Martin in the same draft we can call them the T-Rex Twins.
-
I predict at least one of your guys gets picked by the Bills (not a big stretch, huh? ) More specifically, Tuitt, Turner or Van Noy.

Article about Bills sale from a non-fan
dollars 2 donuts replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
M2003, I didn't even want to bring that up...guys calling talk radio that had grown up going to games with their dads and it was just all coming to an end. Yes, grown men on the radio crying and it wasn't even remotely embarrassing. I don't know why I kept listening as it was just so gut wrenching. Paraphrasing one guy (and I can never get this out of my head) "we're losing our team and why are we just sitting around talking about it like it is just another sports story...my God, we're losing our team and I feel so powerless...there is nothing we can do about it...and I just can't even talk anymore..." Welling up as he hung up the phone. -

Not it cannot, and I for one (but hopefully not just one) hope for a flood of similar articles, even if they are insanely redundant. -

I was going to school in Ohio when the news broke that the Browns were leaving Cleveland. It was bad, bad, bad. It was surreal and I truly felt horrible for the fans of the Browns, whom have grown on me over the years. No fan should have to go through that. -
Should We Draft a QB In Late Rounds
dollars 2 donuts replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like him in those rounds, as well. However, I really wanted to get Russell Wilson in the 3rd or 4th round a couple of years ago and the Bills did like him. Translations: if the Bills do like Murray I wouldn't necessarily hold my breathe in thinking he's going to be there in the 5th...maybe not even in the 4th. If they do really like his skill set, then get him. -
Jacobs Family front runners?

Even if they don't work out something the children take ownership of the Bruins, it is kind of tough to turn down that lucrative NFL TV money. I don't care if they were called the Boston Dollars 2 Donuts with a picture of me on the jersey...I'm ditching them and counting the money. -

If We Pass on Ebron .... We Will Regret it
dollars 2 donuts replied to TheBackupQB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look, I love the idea of getting a WR or TE when we pick in the first round. However, if I can draft a RT that I can just plug in and say I'll see ya in 4-5 years when its time for your next contract, then I'll take that. I'll take that all day long. If they truly and convincingly believe they can get another Cordy Glenn for RT in the 2nd round, sure then, have fun in the first on something else. I just don't want to hear phrases like "has great potential to improve" or "should work his way into the starting line-up during his rookie year" at all with respect to our RT draft pick. -
Terrance West RB Towson
dollars 2 donuts replied to Hazed and Amuzed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked his chances of going to the Bills more than Mack's. He is either going to be a mid to late round pick or a FA pick-up. The NCAA's 12th leading rusher this year will probably not become a star in the NFL, but he is a bruising little fire plug between the tackles with quicks...not trmendous top speed, but quicks. -
What the Bills offseason tells us about draft plans
dollars 2 donuts replied to Luxy312's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When I do question it I try to think of the Ohio State game. I just can't shake that 2 sack and interception return for a TD from my head. I don't blame anyone for harboring such concerns, o20, but man the guy's body of work is just the complete package. He can get sacks, tackle for losses, force fumbles, track down runners, cover receivers and intercept passes...and he's a physical specimen. If he can make all of that work, even just to a lesser degree, then he'll be something special for some team. However, I wouldn't trade up to get him, but that's just really because I believe the Bills still need all the picks they can get. -
DE Jarius Wynn Signs with Bills

Yungmack and Yolo, I think your right. Injuries must have been a concern. It is a shame, because when he was last healthy I thought he was pretty good with decent upside. ...not pro-bowl upside, but still solid play. -

I really would like to know the real reason on why they didn't try harder to keep Carrington.
