Is it only me that noticed?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Sgt. Ski's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Part of the problem that hasn't been discussed is that the announcers never really mentioned anything about it, if memory serves me. Even if they didn't know what was going on they should have questioned the placement; someone would have told them in the booth so we would have eventually known, but it never really happened. They just sort of made it seem like he was out at the 4 when clearly he wasn't. A simple, " if some of you are wondering about the placement of the ball it appears Goodwin started losing control at the 4 even though he he never stepped out of bounds until the one. The rule is you can't advance the ball,on a fumble.", statement would have done the trick. It sort of bugs me considering they had the time to,review it before the next play. -
Former Pats TE Christian Fauria calls in to WGR
dollars 2 donuts replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Fred Smerlas?! ...oh wait. Amazing that you can play 11 years with a team and generally not like the franchise or even the city. ...and please, please don't anyone bring up the lame-a** lip service he does every once and while. -
Thank you, Mary, and especially thank you Ralph. We will never forget and as one sign said during Reed's induction ceremony...Ralph, you will ALWAYS be the owner of the Bills.

So I tune into Boston Sports radio...
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isn't it amazing when you think about it? That a guy who hasn't seen even a down of live bullets since 2013 comes in, on the road, against the No. 1 defense in the NFL and after a rough start finishes 30-43, for 308 and a TD, as well as closing out the final quarter going 12-15 for 141. ...and almost not a peep about it. -

A new dawn for Buffalo, Pegula vote unanimous
dollars 2 donuts replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know, right? I mean, it. Is. Done. Sword of Damocles go hang over the head of someone else. ...now, though, we still have to support the hell out of the team. -

JW's Bills-Lions All-22 Review
dollars 2 donuts replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last vid at the bottom of the page. Hughes. Just. pushes that guy. He literally used the body of that OLineman to sack his own QB. I agree with Joe. Please pay this man. Please let's keep talent here. -
Welcome to our world, Texans
dollars 2 donuts replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some around here are kind of forgetting that the Texans were 2-14 last year and have already past that win total in a quarter of a season. In short, rail on him if you will but that teams qb play has improved; and I don't think anyone in Houston seriously thinks Fitzy is a long term solution but, like us, they are probably happy being 3-2. -
Kyle Orton, Tony Romo relationship was 'untenable'
dollars 2 donuts replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, saw this article earlier. My thing is I kind of need a definition for "untenable". As in: Untenable - the desire or feeling of wanting to punch someone in the face if left alone in the same room with them. Opposite of "good teammates". As used in a sentence: Your inappropriate references to my sister's chastity has made our relationship untenable regardless of the coin I am making. ...no gravy, no stake. Somebody has to have more dirt on this. -
Goodwin did not step out at the 4 yard line
dollars 2 donuts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hear you to some degree, mrags, but he caught the ball at the 10 and took three strides before he started to lose it at about the four...at worst a catch and then a fumble, out of bounds. -
Goodwin did not step out at the 4 yard line
dollars 2 donuts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely he didn't. That confused the hell out of me as it didn't look all that close to even stepping out of bounds. -
Remember the start of the season gauntlet that the national talking heads, and a lot of us, thought would be are undoing for the season? The ones where the Bills should consider themselves lucky if they are 2-4 after six...some even said we could be 1-5? Damn, if they get to 4-2 everything should look real good for the 6 that follow. I could live with 8-4, but how much would you love 9-3 at the three quarter mark?!

I agree with mountainwampus's post. Additionally, I wouldn't have restructured his contract. He was a starter in this league and was most likely still going to be a starter in this league for the Bills in 2013, until he wasn't anymore; then you worry about his contract, especially considering the room we had and still have. The man, if you believe his comments and I do, wanted a shot at still being the starter which he should have been afforded. Really, how much difference were we talking about between what Fitz ( a known commodity) was going to get paid in 2013 as opposed to the money that Kolb (an unknown commodity) got? If the base salary difference was 5-6 million then isn't it worth it for insurance? I hope Orton does well, but I really could have lived with Fitz starting this weekend against Lions, even given his limitations...with EJ being groomed in the background if he hadn't taken over by this time.

Sunday Ticket and the FCC
dollars 2 donuts replied to USMCBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love my Sunday ticket for the great offenses I get to see around the league. Seriously, though, I loved watching Rodgers and his no-name receivers and TE in the game against the Bears this weekend. -
I hear ya, zow, and I love Sammy. However, if Kiko didn't get hurt and they got Mack can you imagine how nasty this defense would have been this year?
