Ratings for the top rookies are out from EA. http://www.ign.com/a...-ratings-are-in Watkins is in at No. 5, with a rating of 80 (digits for speed (93), acceleration (95) agility (95), catching (88) - note, overall rating takes into account other skills not listed here). Pretty good. Clowney and Robinson are the highest at 83, with Mathews and Mack at 81.

I never get tired of calling this guy a hero anytime his name comes up here.

I'd put Easley at about 90%, because even though there is pretty good competition for anywhere from 2nd to the 4th WR, there is almost no competition for Easley as our best special teams player, throwing in as a bonus that he can be called upon for to play his position with some merit when necessary.

Bills' Final Sale Price contest
dollars 2 donuts replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KJ...thank you. EDIT: However, if they are keeping the team here I would like them to have a good amount of change left over for a new stadium to be put up where it should be...downtown. -
Bills' Final Sale Price contest
dollars 2 donuts replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this is for fun, but the speculative number range bandied about here (which is probably somewhat accurate) bugs me. This team is, at the very lease, "sort of" locked in to staying here yet it will probably go for somewhere around 1.2 billion, or almost 40% over its reported value of 870 million and more than 400 million over what the Jags went for. Why am I concerned? Because I have this feeling of local ownership getting squeamish past a billion dollars, of which I wouldn't blame them. I don't know, I just get p****d thinking about losing this team because some mega billionaire wants a shinny new toy, but didn't want it when the Jags were up for sale. I mean is my pessimism just from being a Bills fan or a Buffalonian, in general?! -
For awhile now this Board seems to pile on the Browns for having a bad QB situation and I really don't get it. Even without Johnny F they have a QB that in 2.5 games in 2013 had 5 TDs, 3 pics, for 615, completed virtually 60% of his passes, beat his divisions eventual champion and was technically 3-0 when he left for the season. I never want to see anyone get hurt and lose a season, but I couldn't have been the only one that breathed a sigh of relief when he went out of that game last year. However, for some reason this guy gets Rodney type respect. ...just don't get it. BTW, i picked the Jags.

What if EJ Stinks or Gets Injured Again?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Niagara Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly think the young man will work out. However, if he finishes the season with 14 starts, 18 tds, 12 picks and is still completing less than 60% of his passes I'm not sure what you do with him. What am i hoping for, given 14 starts? At least 24 tds less than 14 ints more than 3,200 yards completing no less than 60% of his passes ...and please oh please at least 7-7, but preferably 8-6. EDIT: and hey, look, I love our RBs and I know you have to be able to run the ball in Buffalo, but sooner or later this team has to get into this century and start averaging 225-240 yards a game passing. -
Updated PFF Bills Depth Chart

I can't be the only one that hopes EJ, who was 4-5 as a rookie starter in games he finished on an already poor team, can raise his game to the level this year of at least Erik Pears and Doug Legursky. -
APB, thank you for your well thought out response and for pulling me off the the bridge! I guess what does bother me is what I stated later on in the post. If ("If" mind you) this did happen, I do see the league taking measures to not let it happen like this again (too late the heroes...Thanks!), and someone in power finally saying, "ya know, there are a number of people within a reasonable radius of Buffalo."

Robert Woods to play the Slot
dollars 2 donuts replied to Jdizzle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please let EJ have a full preseason to work with these guys, b/c if he gets on the same page with all these guys...wow. -
Seriously, if you were one of the mega billionaires what do you care or worry about if the stadium is empty for a number of years? What p****s me off is that right after the bills are sold and then moved the NFL will enact rules to make moving a team more difficult. ...I mean jeepers you can just feel it's going to happen. Btw, all the while as the sales process plays itself out a few silent voices descending on deaf ears will try and remind purchasers and nfl fans that there are 7-10 million people within 100 miles of Buffalo to no avail.

Rochesterian Malcolm Glazer, RIP, 85 years old.

Yes, very true. I am appreciative of the situation with Pegula. Btw, it is a minor fantasy of mine that the new Bills owner isn't just billionaire, but a serious billionaire (7 plus billion)...that would be nice weight to throw around during owners meetings when/if the Bills and Buffalo get picked on. ...wow about Mara. I did not know that, as well. -

Yeah, I know. We've all known that for years. If they did I guarantee Ralph would have had a succession plan. It is just disappointing that it didn't workout that way...ya know, that Linda Bogden didn't pre-decease her father, or that he didn't have a couple more children who might have had an interest in in keeping the team. Hell, with Adams it looks like they have multi generations running the team. I just wish that would have been our situation. -

Well, Ford died this year and I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that Bud Adams died at the end of the season. ...of the four deaths we are the only up for grabs franchise. -

Had no idea he was born in Rochester. Seemed like a good guy. RIP. -
Who will be our best receiver this year?
dollars 2 donuts replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
KJ, that is almost my exact low side expectation of which I'd still be ok with given his potential. I believe his high side and my hope is about 84 grabs, 1200 yards and 10-11 td's. -
The New stadium must be a dome

This...and from an engineering standpoint it is not some mystical voodoo as it was perceived to be when the lobster shell opened up north so many years ago. I am not saying it is cheap, but it should be considered, because they abundant in today's sports complexes. -
Downtown Stadium Article

I have been to a few Bengals games over the years and I know exactly what you are talking about. I not only liked the tailgating before the games, but going to downtown pubs afterward. EDIT: Additionally, and not to be a lazy bones, can one of you tech savvy bunch link to a map with these areas, generally, highlighted please? Thank you. -
Bills sign try-out 6'4" WR Caleb Holley
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man, it makes you really appreciate how for some of these guys have to come, and some do, like Freddy. From Coe College, the lower arena league, living in his mother-in-law's basement to making 10 plus million dollars over the course of his NFL career and probably finishing as the third leading rushing in a franchise's history. Not bad at all. -
Sammy gets double-teamed. Now, what?

and a little bit of pee running down some flat-footed DB's leg if Goodwin happens to be in the game. OP, I respect the scenario, but I feel like worrying about this is like worrying about the 27 Yankees having no batting depth after Mark Koenig...OK, maybe a little too much there, but I'm feeling optimistic.
