The "Rest Of The NFL" Preseason Thread
dollars 2 donuts replied to Heitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me too. I always believed he had the skill set to help an nfl team. "Yeah, nfl, hi I'm Branden Oliver. I'm 5'-8", a fire plug with legs that drives like a jack hammer with quicks and I will be scoring TDs between the tackles, thank you." -
New sale of team thread
dollars 2 donuts replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BTW, out of curiosity, how many suitors were there for the Jacksonville Jaguars? I love how that just sort happened and really wasn't a big league event and took place to the tune of 780 million dollars. -

Because you are from WNY, my friend. We all feel it. It is in our bones. -
Artvoice stadium plan (downtown)
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last time I checked that downtown location is still pretty close to Canada. Just kidding, BB; I get ya. However, I do really like the plan quite a bit. I want to help the Bills, but also want to help the City of Buffalo and I feel strongly in such a concept and what it will mean for development, even if it is hard and will take time. -
Long story very short; i have had the itch for MLS soccer since the Seattle Sounders debuted a few years ago. I thought our fans could bring similar excitement. That being said, when we get a new stadium (hopefully downtown, retractable roof), would you guys support an MLS team should we get one? Mind you there is nothing that I know of on the drawing board. However, and also hoping that a field fits the downtown stadium, would some of you Bills fans feel the civic pride and support of a new stadium downtown and go to a few Buffalo Stallions games (yeah, Stallions, yeah, why not?)? Tickets can range from $10 - $26 per game and there are 18 home games, I believe. Additionally, I am posting this here because it is potentially Bills Stadium related and I wanted input from Bills fans. However, I defer to the Mods.

Bills Sale Book's Most Important Number
dollars 2 donuts replied to extrahammer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been saying that for years, it stinks, and it is ridiculous that it isn't taken into consideration. In other words, Southern Ontario should count. -
I checked Easley's stats just to see if they were what I remember them to be and ESPN said he had 21 special teams tackles, almost twice as much as the next player...I just don't see the bills giving that up for a different 5th or sixth player.

Agreed. I am not sure it would be for thirty years, but agreed. When the new stadium comes the Ralph will be 47 years old...that is old enough for an nfl stadium. It is not like the Georgia dome where it is 20 plus years and out. You are not going to get married In a powder blue, ruffled tux in 2014 and this is still an nfl team and it's house should be at least commensurate with the league. Can't believe I wrote that but it is true. Additionally, and very respectfully to John Adams, this new house will add a new breed of luxury customer...build it and seriously, they will come.

Or possibly showing their "toughness" after a poor decision on the ray rice 2 game suspension. -

Worst Game in Bills History
dollars 2 donuts replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I don't know, the Patriots dropping more than 50 on us, at home, in prime time, and going for it on 4th down in the redzone up by more than 20 at that point was a particularly bad game. -
ugh. Exactly, MD10, exactly the way I picture it. Why stop there, though...county to pick a number of penthouse hotels for free for the owners and their guests...and the NFL will support them every step of the way. BTW, can anyone please explain to me why we didn't see this sort of interest when the Jags were for sale? EDIT: please, please, btw. I have heard the words already. "We commend Bills fans on their years of support to the organization, and cheering the red, white and blue every Sunday in the Fall, and we sincerely hope and openly invite them to come over the border and continue that support and contribution to the excitement of NFL football in Southern Ontario!" Like some sort of excited doofus, thinking we should suck it down like so much tripe.

With serious thought given to the question...no. Additionally, I am a little p****d and insulted by the propaganda of keeping the team here. If they are the winning bidder they will give every outward appearance of wanting to keep the team here, other than the terms for a new stadium which shall be draconian at best. Such terms maybe even comparable to the NFL "diva list" for the NFL Championship Game, (don't want to get in trouble for using the SB phrase without permission) like Minnesota had to sign to.

Sammy's Madden 15 Rating
dollars 2 donuts replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Couldn't stand that, Mark80. I had a small group of guys that we would play on the honor system years ago, otherwise it gets ridiculous. Well, other than when stuff was funny between friends, like with a buddy of mine on 2k5 - he would go to quit if he was losing or he would do multiple replays just to bug me...but it was always funny. Thank you for the info on the capture. I have to test that out on my X-One...once I hook it up! ...he will! -
Sammy's Madden 15 Rating
dollars 2 donuts replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FC, I love Khalil, but maybe just ahead of him, or ahead of one of the OLmen per Mark80. ...or a tie. In other words, maybe an overall 81. Although I don't believe a 90 or 91 in "catching" would be enough to raise it, but I don't know his other stats. EDIT: Oh, and the raising of his ranking was a little tongue in cheek as they probably won't change anything until the season. -

Mark, first - loved the Seahawks game. Seriously, that was fun to watch. Props to your coaching the way you stuck with CJ even though it was rough, but it no doubt helped to keep some of your passing open. Also, 17-3 to 17-20, and 24 - 27 and you kept your cool. Nice! Secondly, why are you saying that about offensive lineman above? We all know that in real football OLmen magnetically have defenses get suck into their blocking. EDIT: Oh, and if you don't mind, please feel free to share your device/tools you use for video capture. Additionally, your editing job makes it nice because we don't have to view (as many vid caps do) in between downs as players scroll through their plays. -
Sammy's Madden 15 Rating

Well, guys, now that we have all seen this... http://forums.twobil...o-nickname-him/ and even given that it is still training camp, I kind of think those boys over at EA should maybe bring "catching" up a couple of ticks. ...and maybe, just maybe, the 4th overall pick should be a little higher than 5th on your board. -

Mark, 58 seconds left in the half, you are already up, deep in your own half of the field and on first down you are going to have EJ dive into traffic for the first down? Did you learn nothing from the Cleveland game last year?! Seriously, though, good video. Thank you. BTW, to you and to the others here I really wouldn't mind more Madden game videos like that during the season against the opponent that we are playing that week. Also wouldn't mind a dedicated Madden thread, but that it is up to our Mods. GO BILLS! EDIT: and might I add you got a heck of kicking game in Madden. What was that first field goal again, 55 yards? Although I haven't played a bunch of Madden in the past few years, in the last 10 I would say I have maybe tried one field goal as long as 55 yards and probably have only made 1 or 2 50 or more yard field goals.
