  1. Thank you, LMSB. I live my life wading in a sea of emotions!
  2. If we go 3-0 for the the third time in seven years and we don't make it to the playoffs I'm going to fight somebody. ...I won't win, but I will fight them.
  3. Yolo, I hear you, but you know the League doesn't let any team do that so it is not even a possibility. Respectfully.
  4. Well, that was all sorts of awesome.
  5. I think there a lot of things going in the Bills favor this weekend. Additionally, one thing that may be overlooked is that EJ, in four home games at the Ralph is 3-1, completing 75 of 116 (64.6%) for 858 yards, with 6 TDs and 3 picks and passer rating of 93.2. Edit: Again, I reference "at the Ralph". I exclude the home game in Toronto. Additionally, the 2013 combined record of the four teams they played is 40-24. UPDATE: 4-1 at home, 91 OF 142 (64%) FOR 1,060, WITH 7 TDs and 3 picks and a "Ralph" passer rating of 94.2. He is 6-6 as a starter, 6-5 as a starter in games he has finished, and has won 4 straight.
  6. hmmm...I really wasn't complaining. I was sarcastic, but not really complaining. I just wanted a power ranking thread going as a quick reference and bleacher report was the only one I had time for this morning to post.
  7. Sorry if I missed someone starting a power ranking post earlier this week. If no one did, I'll start with bleacher reports. The good news: WE ARE ONLY THE SECOND LOWEST RATED 1-0 TEAM WITH A RANKING OF 23 (Houston is 27). Yeah! Edit: admin won't let me link to bleacher report so you have to take my word on it. Edit 2: if my hunch is correct...we will be THE lowest ranked 2-0 team.
  8. I really have no problem with their absence and i think Code Monkey hit it on the head earlier.
  9. Man, I know it is going to be a long season, but other than my obvious proclivity for rooting for this team, I really wish EJ would start the season going 20-30 for 300 and 3 TDs if no other reason than I just need SOME of this talk to stop.
  10. ...I miss Chan Gailey's offensive line.
  11. http://profootballta...ng-their-heads/ I like Florio, but I love how this is not really a "Cowboys got Screwed" thing, but rather a "Bills took the bait", "roll the dice" "break-glass-in-case-of-emergency" and comments at the end along the lines that there is no real concern if he comes in and isn't ready. Even if Orton is half asleep this year we upgraded our back-up QB position from what we had and did so with money that we have a lot of. I know we may have a long history of bad decisions, bu brother, this is not one of them even if some want to twist it that way. I am sorry if someone else linked to this article and I missed it earlier. Additionally, Mods please feel free to merge this if you feel it belongs in another thread. ...I read it and couldn't help but post as it bugged me.
  12. I got the guy's, back, like many of you here. I have speculated otherwise at various times for the sake of argument, but he is MY QB and I am behind him 100%!
  13. Should be a great game, YOLO, not just because of the two teams, but because they are not playing on a short week which was a problem for many Thursday games last year. ...man, it was a nice surprise coming home on Thursdays and then realizing, "wait, we got football tonight!"
  14. Wow. In Texas. Nicely done! Your Sister: "Yeah, 14 years without a playoff appearance. So what? That 's MY team...always. GO BILLS!"
  15. RJ, nicely done, correct!! Lollipop to be presented immediately subsequent to the Bills' Super Bowl victory!
  16. Guys, seriously, if he is worth as much as you guys say then, if I may quote the late john Butler, this is one fat man dancin' a jig. I'd love to be wrong and I hope you are right. Side trivia: a lollipop if any of you guys remember who butler was talking about when he said the above? no cheating, but I can't stop you if you do...and there is no lollipop.
  17. Where has there even been an estimate over that amount? I thinker a safer estimate is that he is at about 3.3 billion. No, I would love that to be true and no worries as we are all hoping for the same thing. I don't understand, though, how some people over the last few weeks have previously done math, wherein he's worth so much, sells an asset that already had value, and then some think that it is brand new net worth. If part of my worth is a $50,000 car and I sell it for $50,000 I am definitely more liquid, but I am still worth the same. In no news report did I ever see that that $1.75 billion land sale started out as, say $200 million or so, in equity. I know he sold it for 1.75. I just don't know what it was valued at before he sold it.
  18. Rogers family: 7.4 billion Tanenbaum: 1 billion ---------------------------------- 8.4 billion TPegs: 3.9 billion at the highest estimate
  19. Let's not kid ourselves, this is bad news. They will regroup with the almost double in billions that TPegs has, all without having jbj in the way as a soft walleted front man.
  20. This made me laugh. ...man, look at us all as fans. Marv's right. It is appropriate (Oxford Book of ballads on Bartleby): "‘Fight on, my men!’ says Sir Andrew Barton, ‘I am hurt, but I am not slain; I’le lay me downe and bleed a-while, And then I’le rise and fight again. "
  21. Come on now. Reasonable. Reeeeassssonaable.
  22. My bad, thank you jboys. EDIT: BTW, in my opinion (and many others) still the greatest video of the MTV era.
  23. Rubes, I'm not kidding you, although I have Rinehart in there at two your above was my true contender for #1, but you still have to have someone to throw to him.
