  1. Yeah, but after KC decided to put SD in their place, I am feeling less comfortable about that game, as well. Additionally, after this upcoming game and after the bye that four game stretch to make some noise and get some wins now looks like this to me: Week 10, KC (5-3) with games against the Jets and Rams; Week 11, Miami (5-4) Miami will beat the jags and get at least one win against either the chargers or the lions; Week 13, Cleveland (6-4 or 7-3) Regardless of their loss last week the Browns have Raiders, Bucs, Bengals and Falcons...and you don't know which Bengals team is going to show up.
  2. Well...they appear to know history.
  3. Exactly John. Additionally, man-o-man how many of you are like me in hoping that this offense finally breaks out with at least a 4 TD performance? I know, I know...they have injuries and the line stinks, but I just need that sort of offensive reassurance badly.
  4. 4-3 Losses to Chicago and Detroit and victories against SD and Houston. ...I know they were impressive victories, but if I had been correct those AFC victories would be so much more valuable to us right now. Big Cat, I gotta tell ya, I'm really not feeling good about going on the road for a Thursday game against the Dolphins. That is a tough one. Additionally, some current stats: Our 22nd ranked offense vs their 4th ranked defense and our 11th ranked defense vs their number 12 offense. ...on three days rest and traveling.
  5. Coastie, very well said. Thank you. Nailed it TFR. BTW, how many people had the one year removed Super Bowl Champion Ravens left for dead, especially after the Rice debacle? ...even after the first game?
  6. I agree with you both, completely.
  7. We have increased our passing yards per 88 yards per game in a passing league (from approximately 209 to 297) and we have done this in spite of our poor running game, not to its detriment. Yeah, I'm with you, I can live with this for the time being. ...I can also live with someone who has been steely-eyed on two game ending drives in just three weeks.
  8. Isn't he the "thirst mutilator"?
  9. Oh, you're only saying that because it's 100% true.
  10. I know, right, doesn't it make you sick?
  11. Yeah, I got ridiculed a while back for giving props to Hoyer.
  12. He had me at, "...the Ted McGinley of offensive linemen."
  13. Part of the problem that hasn't been discussed is that the announcers never really mentioned anything about it, if memory serves me. Even if they didn't know what was going on they should have questioned the placement; someone would have told them in the booth so we would have eventually known, but it never really happened. They just sort of made it seem like he was out at the 4 when clearly he wasn't. A simple, " if some of you are wondering about the placement of the ball it appears Goodwin started losing control at the 4 even though he he never stepped out of bounds until the one. The rule is you can't advance the ball,on a fumble.", statement would have done the trick. It sort of bugs me considering they had the time to,review it before the next play.
  14. Maybe Fred Smerlas?! ...oh wait. Amazing that you can play 11 years with a team and generally not like the franchise or even the city. ...and please, please don't anyone bring up the lame-a** lip service he does every once and while.
  15. Thank you, Mary, and especially thank you Ralph. We will never forget and as one sign said during Reed's induction ceremony...Ralph, you will ALWAYS be the owner of the Bills.
  16. Isn't it amazing when you think about it? That a guy who hasn't seen even a down of live bullets since 2013 comes in, on the road, against the No. 1 defense in the NFL and after a rough start finishes 30-43, for 308 and a TD, as well as closing out the final quarter going 12-15 for 141. ...and almost not a peep about it.
  17. Yeah. You just don't contemplate running in that situ. You have 3 downs and need to stop the clock, Fitz.
  18. Ah, I love him, but Fitzy gonna be Fitzy. Still a great game, and I wanted the texans to lose, but I wanted it to go down to the wire.
  19. The amazing turnaround of the Thursday Night Blowout games. This is great.
  20. I think San Diego is one of the best teams in the nfl and were moving in that direction during the last half of last season. No way, NO WAY if they finish 11-5 or better is Frank still there next year.
  21. In The Sandlot, when they got past the fence...it was just a dog.
  22. I know, right? I mean, it. Is. Done. Sword of Damocles go hang over the head of someone else. ...now, though, we still have to support the hell out of the team.
  23. The last vid at the bottom of the page. Hughes. Just. pushes that guy. He literally used the body of that OLineman to sack his own QB. I agree with Joe. Please pay this man. Please let's keep talent here.
