  1. PTR, thank you. I laughed quite a bit. This caught me off guard.
  2. 2014 Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr couldn't agree more. For crying out loud you can almost smell it...joy and jubilation; we control our own destiny - then whoops.
  3. I take back the comments i Made in response to what Spoogy said in another thread a couple of weeks ago, wherein I scoffed at the Chiefs being a concern. The Chiefs are now a team that worries me quite a bit.
  4. I've done my own playoff calculations and I've determined that the Jacksonville loss really, really, really, really, really hurt us.
  5. Now, if you're blue And you don't know where to go to Why don't you go where fashion sits *click, click* PUUUUING ONHE RIIIIZZ!! (Translation "Puttin' on the Ritz") Different types who wear a day coat Pants with stripes and cutaway coat Perfect fits *click, click* PUUUUING ONHE RIIIZ!! (Translation "Puttin' on the Ritz")
  6. Man, Spoogy, I'm sorry. I don't know whether my sarcasm detector should be pinging or not. It isn't just that the Chiefs are 3-5, but more so that they are a mediocre 2-2 at home this year.
  7. Hey, I want want this miserable playoff drought to finally come to an end, too. ...but man, 5th place is SO important this year with how bad Indy/Houston are.
  8. I couldn't agree with you more, John, and I have believed it for years. What I couldn't believe was those rare times when this guy was sitting at home, instead of coaching a D somewhere. Seriously head shake worthy...I never understood how why this guy would ever out of work.
  9. Yes, and although our offense is probably going to play better, there is no reason for the D's drop off, therefore, I believe there is no reason for them to come back. This is Rex's D. 7-9
  10. Revised your post, CT, with my thoughts. If I have over stepped my bounds I apologize, but it keeps the sentiment of what you were saying...unfortunately.
  11. Just to be clear, are some of you really trying to say that we lost this game because of EJ? If so, may I please be put under the category of those (if any) that have been fairly disappointed with this defense, even for various reasons during the Titans game?
  12. I simply love the guy as a DC. I also just don't understand why head coaches don't jump at the opportunity to have him coach their defenses.
  13. Or how about we try just great commentators from other sports? I'm only half joking here, as a number of years ago I remember telling a buddy of mine that Mary Corilla might just be one of the best commentators in sports, tennis or otherwise. Let her take a swing at it; seriously no pun intended.
  14. John I really don't know why you're blaming me, Sammy said it! John on the side, and not to stir the pot - is there anything that can be read into the idea that Sammy, given his stats during the brief time he has been playing with TT, might prefer EJ? Again, not to start a controversy, but just wondering.
  15. I don't know, GOAT, I think I'd rather have him studying the play book in his spare time. GO BILLS!!!!
  16. Man, he just won't stop: @totallymadeupbydollars2donuts Watkins on playing the Bengals: "I'm going to start the game on Sunday and in the first half I'm going to blow-up their DBs like Schwarzenegger did to the jungle in "Predator", then I am going to go in at halftime, eat a sandwich, come out for the second half, and torch whatever DBs are left like Scott Glenn did to those buildings in "Backdraft"." "...and if we go to overtime I'm going to beat their LBs like Streep did to the eggs in "Julie/Julia"."
  17. reddog, sssssssshhhhhhhh. You don't want HIM to hear that!!!
  18. J-Dubs, it seems like you answered your own question.
  19. This is an understated big one. There is no one reason why anyone should be uncomfortable at a game because of the elements. Just be prepared and no fan or attendee should ever be "afraid" of the Buffalo weather. A school buddy of mine came up from Miami a number of years ago for the phins game (that game we won and it snowed a lot...I know, I know, but I am serious. I just can't remember the game). He had a windbreaker, a button down and dress shoes. I mean...come on. I'm sorry, did I forget to mention we were sitting in the 300 level?
  20. BTW, on a tangent, I hope someone expresses to TT that he is this team's starter. ...I want him to know for sure that if he is injured he can sit; not that he better play no matter what or risk losing his job.
  21. This is ridiculous, why don't they just start Bryce Brown; he's fairly illusive and has quicks and his expe...ooooooohhhhhhhh, right. OK. ...the funny thing is, personally I really don't need my 3rd RB to be a good special teamer. I need him to be a good RB. I know many here disagree, but I just thought it was a stupid move to let him go. So what if he had problems and was a little thickheaded...he's the third back, with some skills. Correction, the fourth back, but he'd be the starter now in front of Boobie.
  22. I know weird, right?! I thought we were pretty good so I went back to check out our record in "week 2" (expecting, like 5-5 based on memory) and then discovered the 7-3, and 6-1 in the last 7. Oh, don't worry Buffalo fatalists...we are 3-7 in the last 10 "week 3" games. ...seriously, though,we are.
  23. One more thing, FG, to help your cause. A weird useless stat that popped into my head this week and I decided to check it out. The Bills are ridiculous in week 2 the last decade. How ridiculous? They are 7-3 the last 10 years...6-1 in the last seven. If they win on Sunday I believe they go to 8-2 over the previous ten year span.
  24. I'm just curious: are any of you ready for this game right now?
