  1. I simply love the guy as a DC. I also just don't understand why head coaches don't jump at the opportunity to have him coach their defenses.
  2. Or how about we try just great commentators from other sports? I'm only half joking here, as a number of years ago I remember telling a buddy of mine that Mary Corilla might just be one of the best commentators in sports, tennis or otherwise. Let her take a swing at it; seriously no pun intended.
  3. John I really don't know why you're blaming me, Sammy said it! John on the side, and not to stir the pot - is there anything that can be read into the idea that Sammy, given his stats during the brief time he has been playing with TT, might prefer EJ? Again, not to start a controversy, but just wondering.
  4. I don't know, GOAT, I think I'd rather have him studying the play book in his spare time. GO BILLS!!!!
  5. Man, he just won't stop: @totallymadeupbydollars2donuts Watkins on playing the Bengals: "I'm going to start the game on Sunday and in the first half I'm going to blow-up their DBs like Schwarzenegger did to the jungle in "Predator", then I am going to go in at halftime, eat a sandwich, come out for the second half, and torch whatever DBs are left like Scott Glenn did to those buildings in "Backdraft"." "...and if we go to overtime I'm going to beat their LBs like Streep did to the eggs in "Julie/Julia"."
  6. reddog, sssssssshhhhhhhh. You don't want HIM to hear that!!!
  7. J-Dubs, it seems like you answered your own question.
  8. This is an understated big one. There is no one reason why anyone should be uncomfortable at a game because of the elements. Just be prepared and no fan or attendee should ever be "afraid" of the Buffalo weather. A school buddy of mine came up from Miami a number of years ago for the phins game (that game we won and it snowed a lot...I know, I know, but I am serious. I just can't remember the game). He had a windbreaker, a button down and dress shoes. I mean...come on. I'm sorry, did I forget to mention we were sitting in the 300 level?
  9. BTW, on a tangent, I hope someone expresses to TT that he is this team's starter. ...I want him to know for sure that if he is injured he can sit; not that he better play no matter what or risk losing his job.
  10. This is ridiculous, why don't they just start Bryce Brown; he's fairly illusive and has quicks and his expe...ooooooohhhhhhhh, right. OK. ...the funny thing is, personally I really don't need my 3rd RB to be a good special teamer. I need him to be a good RB. I know many here disagree, but I just thought it was a stupid move to let him go. So what if he had problems and was a little thickheaded...he's the third back, with some skills. Correction, the fourth back, but he'd be the starter now in front of Boobie.
  11. I know weird, right?! I thought we were pretty good so I went back to check out our record in "week 2" (expecting, like 5-5 based on memory) and then discovered the 7-3, and 6-1 in the last 7. Oh, don't worry Buffalo fatalists...we are 3-7 in the last 10 "week 3" games. ...seriously, though,we are.
  12. One more thing, FG, to help your cause. A weird useless stat that popped into my head this week and I decided to check it out. The Bills are ridiculous in week 2 the last decade. How ridiculous? They are 7-3 the last 10 years...6-1 in the last seven. If they win on Sunday I believe they go to 8-2 over the previous ten year span.
  13. I'm just curious: are any of you ready for this game right now?
  14. Interesting...forgot it was a 4 pm kickoff.
  15. Man, if Buffalo and Miami were both 2-0 heading into that week...Huge...simply the NFL game of the week.
  16. I think this is my new favorite saying...and I agree.
  17. ...Right, stupid of me. Thank you Bandit. BTW: Along with my post from above, Fitzy has made $38 million (including this year) in his career and is probably good for at least another couple of years. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-jets/ryan-fitzpatrick/cash-earnings/
  18. BTW, didn't he also get a half million bonus when he originally signed with us? Yeah...not bad. EDIT: Man, that's why you cannot make fun of the career that some of these guys (Cassell, Fitzy) have had...there is no joke in making 30-40 million Dollars in an NFL career.
  19. Very true...I just wish it wasn't! Very true, but he is more of a project. Hmm, we drafted a qb a couple of years ago that from get go everyone agreed was going to be a bit of a project and that it would take time for him to develope...
  20. May I please do a double wow, with a what the hell?
  21. Wow...that sucks. I mean it was a bad enough feeling for fans about this, but this made it a bit worse.
  22. Oh my, if he ends up there...GENIUS!!! ...seriously, though, it must be nice to get praised for every move your team makes, even other than simple, logical ones wherein in guys are glad to play for you and not as a last resort.
  23. Hmm, that I did not know. Still, though, Doc, once you get past our starters and beyond Cujo and Urbs...eeesh.
