  1. Best to the both of you, Metz and John. Believe me I have had a little experience with respect to health setbacks and I am amazed how some of you with serious ailments work so hard to get yourself healthy. It is tough. Back to the OT, great if we could get him in the second and we do need an upgrade from Mills and Sentreal...because I am thinking this team badly needs a LB with a decisive and impressive skill set.
  2. I'm honestly asking because I don't know and I know many of you are clued in on the prospects. I am of the belief we really do need a quality starting RT in this draft, but if we can wait until the second round I know we have pressing needs at other positions that could be addressed in the first (WR, LB). What am I hoping for? Cordy Glenn 2.0 in Round 2. (Man-o-man can you imagine if we had taken Jonathon martin?). Thank you in advance for your responses.
  3. Ya know what Bart I've changed my mine...I am freakin' with you on this. The cut and paste from the article virtually said what I told to a buddy this morning and it is ridiculous. In short: Build a great new palace, not because you need a great new palace, but because it is a tremendous excuse to charge the s*** out of your customers. NFL: "Hey, come on now, we're all doing it. Sure the Packers didn't have to really do it, but they did something." *starts to whistle and stare at their feet ignoring the 135 million spent on the Ralph last year*
  4. Great...can my BIlls news get any worse this off season? Bill, please consider letting us get you a dictaphone for notes and some software so that you can just read your comments into the thread.
  5. So much for those of you who said restructuring him was pointless.
  6. Man, just forget about being a Bills fan right now...can you imagine if the 4th quarter of the Jets game happens differently and he finishes the season (regardless of playoffs) with the Jets at 11-5, with 31 TDs and 12 picks? Yes, it didn't happen that way, but I seriously think he gets exactly what he's asking for if he did. My point? The guy was....that...close...to having it his way for the remainder of his career, even if he was a bust from here on out. If he could have gotten 15-20 million guaranteed, the guy guarantees himself at least a 60 million dollar career...an extremely middling one.
  7. On the field, I have a feeling that we might even be worse that what we seem on paper. At least what we had previously, including the players we lost, was a some what fluffy schedule that should have at least gotten us to the playoffs.
  8. Just like I said...$6-$8 million! EDIT: John Elway - "Don't get me wrong, Fitzy, you've had a SWEEET career and all, but after the last 10 years how'd you like to hoist the Lombardi trophy above your head?"
  9. More than 100 career TDs and 10-6 last year going to a team with the best D in the league, for 6-8 million...Yes. EDIT: Guaranteed 12-4...since they don't play the Bills.
  10. I hate that this is true, but this true.
  11. Don't bother me with logic, bandit, it interferes with my euphoria. Just kidding, brother. Thank you, as I did not know about the above.
  12. He has made 39 million dollars in 10 years. As I've said before, great for him and probably unexpected back when he was a rookie. If he can get some team to pay him to start...do it.
  13. I like Fitzy, I really, really do. That being said, YOLO is correct. I think he should sign with any team that a) wants him to start, and b) is willing to pay him 6-8 million to do it, even for a single year.
  14. 5.25 million per...If I am remembering the news correctly from this morning that is in line with the 10th rated guard money. He is better than that, but older. Yeah, I think that is a a livable deal.
  15. I like the idea of him going to the Rams.
  16. Honestly, that would be sad and disappointing. I would like to see him land on his feet somewhere with a reasonable chance of turning things around or helping out. He should be Romo's back-up, maybe.
  17. When the LAPD gets done with it I believe they are going to charge the construction worker due to the finger print evidence.
  18. Are we to take this as the off duty Po-Po being at fault for the incident?
  19. May Day, Manning really wasn't my favorite player for a number of years. His tail spin starting in 2014 has influenced me a little bit, but just a little. For years (and probably still now) the player I would start a team with is John Elway.
  20. My mind on Brady over the last few years has changed. Honestly, I think he is one of the greatest QBs in NFL history and maybe one of the top 5 guys you should think of when starting a franchise. That being said, he is also an insufferably little b****, isn't he?
  21. The thing is I believe Kyle being hurt last year is part of the reason the defense dropped off so much, not just the change in scheme from Rex. I think you need one, maybe two more years out of him.
  22. I hear ya, qblax16, but I am with TT concerning the above. Additionally, and forgive me if I am missing something, but isn't Mario going to be 19 million against our cap if we keep him? Considering he may want out I doubt he is going to do a thing to reduce that amount unless it is coughing up more money to him now, which I don't think is a good investment, nor benefits us cap wise going forward.
  23. Honestly, you know who would work in Denver with that great defense and that thin air? ...Fitz.
