  1. Request from BPA and the rest of you. Do any of you know of any sub places around here that have: 1. Shredded Lettuce, and 2. Oil that tastes like something a little more than oil...like if they add malt vinegar to it? Been years since I've had the "perfect" sub, assorted, stake or otherwise.
  2. I've been counting down since we were behind the Royals and Blue Jays. I knew awhile go that Number 122 was ours for the taking.
  3. I still wish he would have bought the team for 1.2 billion. I know he is a billionaire, but for all the plans he may have in place for downtown Buffalo, or a new stadium elsewhere, I wish he had an extra 200 million in his pocket. Edit: 1.2 being a seemingly sufficient amount ahead of the other bidders.
  4. This is such a beautiful post...it truly is.
  5. Glad that he is signed. More importantly: that shirt is AWESOME!!!
  6. Say what you will, CBF, but you can not knock our consistency.
  7. Gotta tell ya, it is pretty darn tempting.
  8. A 28 year old Bruce Smith would be getting no less than 6 years, 102 million dollars, with 60 million guaranteed. ...no less.
  9. a 30 year old Jim Kelly in 2016 is getting no less than 5 years, 100 million, with 50 million guaranteed. ...no less.
  10. Tyler Eifert was a nice pick-up for the Bengals.
  11. This is the bonus of having fairly wealthy owners.
  12. I threw-up a little reading that. Nah, just kidding...I threw-up a lot.
  13. Well said, Mark. We've been beaten down and disappointed, by the outside and ourselves, that it is difficult to remember being optimistic. Gone are the days (if you remember them at all) when we would say with confidence, "other teams rebuild, we reload".
  14. This. Jags were "terrified" they weren't going to get their receiver. I have always been comfortable with blaming the Jags. I respectfully disagree, to a degree, with those who say he wouldn't have been the Big Ben we know now. He may not have been as successful, but he would still be our same qb today after 12 years and we would have made the playoffs at least once or twice.
  15. A nice haul by the Browns. They stay in the top 10 this year and should have 2 picks in the top 15 next year.
  16. That is going to make our deal with Philly so sweet for that number 2!!!
  17. Yeah, I was confused on why no one was posting about this a few days ago as this goes back to the 13th. I just assumed it was too out there for the TSW so I didn't post anything. Some speculative deets: http://www.netonenews.com/2016/04/13/bills-broncos-browns-brokering-blockbuster-trade/ We send our 2016 first and second as well as our 2017 third in exchange for Denver's 2016 first (31) and a player to be named later all to the Browns for their number 2 overall pick and the Broncos get Tyrod.
  18. This is tremendous, eball. Simply tremendous.
  19. Honestly, that's what I was thinking, too.
  20. Hell, Bloke, I don't even care if they help the Jets. Whaley: "Hey Jets I know you love that tackle, but the Steelers are offering us a great deal to move up to 19. Whadda guys wanna do?"
  21. If they would have had it this year the Jets (10-6) and Falcons (8-8) get in. I'm fine with that. The team with the best record in each conference gets a bye and everyone else plays wild card weekend (2 v 7, 3 v 6, 4 v 5). No problem with this and it seems like an easy decision. I am tired of the "talking" about this as we've known the base proposal for awhile and I don't know how much more talking is necessary. Is the NFL super upset over having 12:30, 4:30 and 8:30 games on Saturday and Sunday of WCWE?
  22. I hear us on that, so loud and clear, all!
  23. Some of the best times my father and I had together before he passed away in 2008 were at Bills games. ...thank you, Ralph.
  24. Side note: I've been to a number of Bengals games. I think that stadium is great.
  25. Sorry if some are offended by the above, but it is just simply a great point. Well said, Acantha. Tangential question though: if they build a stadium that is less suited for tailgating will that help or hurt the drunken state of same fans at the stadium? In other words, will they drink like fish while they are there, or just as bad, will the drive to the stadium drunk?
