  1. I'll tell you this much, if anyone is entertaining the idea of getting Romo, all other issues in getting him aside, then this team better finish 9-7 and show some potential, because otherwise he is just not going to show up.
  2. If there is still a chance we could overtake Miami how are we locked in with Cincy and Indy? Just asking.
  3. In short: 1. I want the Bills to at least be in it going into the last week, and finish 9-7. A lot has to happen, but as indicated in the playoff picture threads, it seems 50-50 that we could get to 8-7 and get losses by the Ravens, Broncos and Houston to at least technically have something to play for. And apologies to some of you, but I want to finish with a winning record, even if no playoffs. 2. I want continued success for McCoy. It is a tough goal, but I want him to lead the AFC in rushing and to be the first Bill since, I think oj in the 70s, to get 100 points worth of TDs. He won't catch Zeke for first in the NFL, but with two great games to finish he could pass bell (17 yards back) and Murray (95 yards back). Additionally, 4 TDs in two games would get him to 17 TDs, and 102 points (maybe 104 total, because I believe he had at least one 2 pointer this year). 3. I want the bills to lead the NFL in sacks. I believe they are currently 2 back of Denver, but that will likely change with Carolina's game tonight as they currently sit at number two with 39. I abandoned this team the last few weeks given my frustration with not only this season, but the last 17 years. Although I am not jumping back on the band wagon I do want some pride for these guys, and this city, as they finish the season. If for nobody else than my late father who loved this team so much.
  4. -28 games is easily more than enough time. -he hasn't progressed at all from game 1 to game 28. -in adverse situations he turns in to Don Knotts. The harder he bites it the more some of you guys dig in.
  5. Yeah, we got beat at home in week two. When are we going to learn as Bills fans to give up this fantasy of, "now it really matters so they are going to be really good,"? They'll finish 8-8, not because I am being negative, but because they will finish 8-8.
  6. I can't even remember the french I took in high school. Although Reagan was President when I was in high school. I hope his memory is better than mine.
  7. Wow, Kirby, where are you seeing this? I have said since mid-season, they need to go 7-1 in the second half to make the playoffs. After Seattle...they needed to run the table. Although the NYT calculator says 10-6 gets you in 50% of the time I just can't reasonably believe that 10-6, 7-5 in the AFC, gets you in.
  8. Most certainly yes, and I am somebody who likes Whaley. My big problem with this thread is why it doesn't include the Oakland Raiders and their GM.
  9. Yes. Even after the New England loss I thought that they only way they get in is with a 7-1 second half. After Seattle...run the table baby, but not likely. The only thing 10-6 does is save Rex's job. I'm not sure that happens if he is 9-7 or less.
  10. Yeah, we aren't going to be back anytime soon. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/11/08/nfl-ratings-continue-to-drop-with-bills-seahawks-monday-night-football/
  11. I hear you, Ganesh, but also he didn't run for 500 yards and score 9 TDs for other teams in the league last year. Yolo's point, is well taken, too. A shame.
  12. WGR reporting that he didn't practice yesterday and that he was in a walking boot. Unfortunately, the walking boot is not a fashion statement. In other "color me surprised" news, Dareus still doesn't feel right and can't run.
  13. Man, a bruising, fast, power back with a nose for the end zone would be good right about now.
  14. Good guess. His career earnings up until last year were 39 million and some odd change, and then 12 million this year. 51 million...not bad work if you can get it.
  15. Um, I believe the words that most accurately describe our meeting with the Pats on October 30th are, "It's on like Donkey Kong".
  16. Man, you see the heartbreak in that young man's face. He wants out there so badly.
  17. Agreed, but it would be nice to have a contrast for various other situations.
  18. Impressive comeback by Texans and Os. The Colts being the Colts.
  19. 2004, at home against the Steelers, 9-6 on a 6 game winning streak averaging about 30 points a game with a chance to make the playoffs (and a win would have gotten us in) was kind of big, too.
  20. I don't know what we'll be, but New England will be 5-2. (waits for the almost inevitable crow pie for such blasphemy)
  21. This was funny and deserved credit for being so before my post.
  22. Wasn't there a national poll last year that had the Bills' Current unis as one of the favorite, if not the favorite, around the league? Blue with the red buffalo would be awesome, for awhile.
